Went last night and had a big order for 5 people. The food is amazing! The base of the entrees is not super spicy but they include several different sauces so you can adjust taste and heat. We did have a long wait for our order. It was all present and as requested. They need to work a bit on order fulfillment flow but as they keep going I think that will improve. I go here very often, food is good. One of the better Pho in town (Better than Pho King Crab). You can also ask for the "fish sauce" to go with the summer/spring roll there. My only complaint here is that when it's busy, the line can get very long. I like that you can get the "popping" boba instead of the tapioca ones. The chicken Banh Mi is pretty good. Waitstaff are friendly and efficient. Place is clean. Definitely a gem in town. read more

I've eaten here before and it was "okay". Now that they changed to a Thai restaurant I thought I would give them another try. Ordered off of Uber eats and the ordered was prepared and delivered within 30 minutes which was pretty great. However the Thai sampler was somehow still only luke warm. It came with chicken satay, butterflies, spicy pork, fried spring rolls.....however NO sauces. No soy/peanut/sweet & sour/hot mustard. Not one single thing. The yellow curry was piping hot and pretty good....came with less than one serving of rice for a large tub of curry. Will not be ordering again. I ordered through DoorDash as it was listed under Asian food, the driver arrived confused and didnt understand what to do so she refunded the order. I called the store for clarification and was hung up on by the woman on the phone before I could ask any questions. Aparently they have not removed themselves from the DoorDash platform and managed to process the payment anyway. Luckily DoorDash refunded in full, however I dont think I will be buying from them anymore. read more

Horrible service. Place is set up like a subway sandwich station, so you would think it would at least run efficiently. Complete opposite. Despite being set up to deliver quick service, we waited almost 30 minutes with no food, so we went to Pho king crab. If you want pho, go there instead. read more

My ex never had Pho. She wanted to try it so we chose this location. You get a good sized portion. Prices are reasonable. They are social distancing tables. There's one large picnic table outside. My only gripe is when I paid the bill the register didn't have the right amount of charge in it. She asked one girl if she had any change in her register. By the way there's only one register so I'm assuming there's multiple drawers. Back to the gripe. An Asian lady comes out from back and has the young lady take the change out of the community tip jar and put it in the register and give me change. read more

Now serving great Thai food too. Great flavour and very well prepared food. Green curry was very tasty and good. Phad Thai with chicken and shrimp was very good as well. We will return soon as it has the punch that keeps you coming back. read more

I waited for my food for more than 30 min only to be disappointed. I placed an order for 6 spring rolls and 3 Korean hot dogs. The spring rolls literally had no taste and the hot dogs were under cooked and doughy. I'm sorry but when a customer calls to ask if you can make it right. Please listen. I heard a lady in the background say "we can't do anything about it just because he didn't like the food". I'm not a fan of wasting food but it's literally going in the garbage! Not only is it Vietnamese but they serve unbelievable Thai cuisine!! I'm from Canada and love love good authentic Thai food! Why Not has a phenomenal Thai cook!! The pad Thai and Thom Kah soup are divine. Ingredients are fresh and fragrant with lime and lemon grass!! It was a surprise how authentically Thai it really is. Absolutely terrible. If you have EVER had good Thai food, you will be disappointed at best. I have not been so disappointed in a $40 meal in my life. The beef was tough, the prawns were like rubber. I went here last week, and I saw ants on the floor. Which was quite repulsing, in addition they got my order completely wrong after I had even triple checked if they had my order correct. I told them about it and they would not give me a replacement nor a refund. Definitely wouldn't recommend going here especially when you spend $20 for something you can't even eat. read more

In a word - Horrid! We were hopeful that a Pho restaurant had opened close to our home - a 5 min. drive. Picked-up two orders of pork vermicelli at the appointed time. Went home and found it essentially cold. (We didn't expect it to be hot as it travelled home but it didn't even register as room temperature.) Clearly 1/3 of the "pork" were simply small slabs of fat - no meat to be found in those pieces. Further, the meat was fried rather than grilled as is the traditional method. Finally, the fried spring roll was terrible with no distinction. We will not return - what a shame. read more

Here is exactly why not. I came in to order at noon. There were two people in the restaurant and 3 people behind the counter. No one greeted me after waiting 5 minutes. I finally went and stared at the lady long enough to get her to notice me and she promptly told me I was in the wrong spot to order abs to move 6 feet to my left. I did abs them she proceeded to ignore me for another couple minutes and right when she saw me turn around to leave she tried to finally help me. read more

Wife & I went here for dinner this evening. I agree with previous commentors that the food is good, and the service is terrible. You can expect to wait 30+ minutes for your food...depending on time of day. I stood in line for almost 10 minutes just to pay my bill because our waitress never returned once our food was served. Oh my god! I just ate their barbecue pork sandwich. So good! Fresh bread was soft, jalapeños and cucumber were fresh and spicy. Definitely get the hot sauce to add. Great compliment of flavors and textures. read more

I tried this place last week and I thought it was really good! It's hard to find places that have a vegetarian broth for pho, so I was stoked to see that they had that available. The veggie pho was a huge serving and came with a couple yummy hot sauces to add. I also got the tofu sandwich, also good! I will be back! read more

I love vermicelli bowls and can't get past them. I've had pho other places but I'm never in the mood and haven't tried Why Not. The egg rolls are good but quite a few in an order. Had the butterflies which are the same as most. Yet to try other things yet. No problems on wait times, fast enough for me. Call in if you are in a hurry. (remember being in a hurry in Yakima means you're going NOWHERES fast). Or I go to Walgreens instead of waiting then grab it. For the bowl I've tried chicken and beef and pork and shrimp or combos of those. Next bowl will probably be my 8th. I love it and it's semi healthy too. I've been dying to try this restaurant every time I drive by. But when I tried it for the first time today I was severely disappointed in the atmosphere. Right, when you walk in there's another restaurant attached to the restaurant itself, and was confused at first, until a waitress introduced me to my table. I was then shoved a couple of waters and menus to the side and immediately asked what to drink, which seemed overwhelming. About 10 minutes later I was asked what I wanted and the menu was very crowded with many different options to eat, which was around 50-60 options. But in the end, I chose a classic in my books, which is Pad Thai and cream cheese butterflies. I mean what could go wrong right? Wrong! After 10-15 minutes of waiting for the drinks that the waitress asked for at the beginning of the service, my mother had to mention fairly loudly that she had forgotten the drinks! Might I add the water is next to poison, it tasted like a cleaning solution and river water mixed together. Ick! When I finally received my appetizer of the cream cheese butterflies it was paired with this cheaply made "sweet and sour"/orange sauce. It most definitely was sweet. It looked like it was homemade, made with corn syrup, water, food coloring, and maybe a zest of orange, wasn't sure. But I tried it with the food and it was might I say interesting? It was again sweet as I mentioned for the sauce, but altogether the wrapper for the butterfly tasted so stale surprisingly, but as well as burnt. I was fairly disappointed because this is never a letdown for me! I then was greeted with what looked like pad thai. It was messily presented with I guess peanuts, but it looked all ground up for it to be peanuts, so I was unsure what was on my plate. Taste wise it was decent, I asked for it to be mild, and they delivered with the spice. It was an acceptable dish, but overall could be way better, than the ones I have had around town. I would recommend this place to a select few people who like crummy Thai places to eat at. read more
