Mike blocked our phone number as soon as the job was done, and never gave us the list of missing…read moreitems he promised. Furthermore, the installation job was problematic; the main kitchen counter was crooked and our other contractor had to fix it to put the countertop on. There were several other small issues as well. Overall, I'm sure he is an above average quality installer and was just under time pressure for our job, but blocking our number and communication is unprofessional enough that I can't give a higher rating. Were it not for that I probably would've given a four or five star rating.

The pattern is very detailed, but he made sure everything lined up perfectly. From the very beginning, he's been patient and responsive, always taking the time to answer questions. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality work done with care.

I had him come out to do a second project to create an attic access in our garage. He did mostly good work on that but didn't support it well enough on one side, as it was anchored only to one truss instead of to two trusses. He also said he'd come back to finish touching up the nail holes in the trim, but he never returned even after I reminded him. I also later noticed that he used very long screws to conjoin two pieces of drywall, so those screws stuck out about 2" from the access panel, which could easily be a safety hazard.

Super kind and wonderful to work with. I only took off a star because one day they had car trouble and didn't reach out to tell me and I was waiting for them to come. Otherwise fantastic and I hope to use them for other projects as well!

My partner and I moved in together and Jay's Small Move made our multi-move process go easefully…read more The moving day team (Jose, Pepe, and Dario) was responsive and all-around amazing. They took about 1 hour to move an organized small studio and just under 2 hours to move my lesser organized 1 BR. The bulk our time was spent at our new building which required more travel time between the truck and the unit. These guys were optimal and had excellent strategizing and problem solving across all three buildings (which were all different). They were also thorough in minimizing damage to our belongings via wrapping and care. This team set a new standard for me and I'd hire them again.

The repairman was able to come out, he spread blankets out to cover my floor and ensure the dust wouldn't get all over the place. He estimated repairs would take about two hours, but it was done in one. He even reinforced the leg to make sure it wouldn't collapse like it had before. (It had very ambitiously been stapled into place and it's a miracle it lasted as long as it did.) He was even able to put a new dust cover into place since the previous one had gotten shredded by the leg and then my cat. There was no mess left when he was done, and he walked me through every step as he was working. 10/10, definitely recommend. I also booked an heirloom coffee table to be picked up and refinished. I cannot wait to see it come back to life like my armchair did.

I am a bit surprised by this outfit. I was looking for handyman to replace a section of the fence…read more It is a small job but this cleaning company responded. Fine, you are interested, I am open to it. I provided a photo of the specific section with the width, but they wanted to go on site for a quote. Ok, most do to increase the chance of getting the bid. This guy though, decided he wanted to replace other areas of the fence as well and gave me many numbers in the process. I suppose he wanted some wiggle room when it is time to pay for the job? When I asked for the cost to replace the specific section in the photo I provided, his response is: "Thank you, look for another company." That, I will. From this company's perspective, they spend the time to go on site to quote only to throw away the opportunity! Not smart. From my perspective, they just wasted my time. I may still consider them for cleaning. They have good reviews. But don't waste your time on handyman work. Too bad, this seems to be a good cleaning company, but this guy just ruined their perfectly good reputation.
