The food was exceptional, some of the best macaroni and cheese I've had since I've moved to the DMV area. Everything was seasoned just right. All my guest were asking who did the food, typical I would have some food left over, however this time the pans were bone try. I didn't only have a successful event; I've found my cater for future functions. Thanks for your help, I'm looking forward to doing business in the near future.

**Review for Well Dunn Catering**…read more Well Dunn Catering delivered an absolutely extraordinary experience for the 125 Years of Forestry reception. They transformed what is normally a standard office space into a dreamy, elegant setting that felt straight out of a premier ballroom. Every detail--from the décor to the lighting--radiated sophistication and creativity. The staff was exceptionally professional, friendly, and attentive at every turn. Their seamless coordination made the evening feel effortless. The chef's menu was nothing short of Michelin star-worthy--each bite offered a delicious blend of seafood and savory meats that left guests raving. The tea-smoked duck, in particular, was a standout favorite and gave the event an almost otherworldly touch. A special thank you goes to Sara H., the event planner of the century. Her attention to detail, genuine warmth, and thoughtful touches elevated the entire experience. She has a rare talent for making every interaction feel personal and every event feel magical. Thank you, Well Dunn, for doing exactly what your name promises--an event that was *well done* in every possible way!

Destroying cakes and emotional seclusion…read more I had the honor of meeting DC's up-and-coming pastry genius "Shameless Chef" at a wedding that was being catered by her 'cake bites.' Not ever hearing of the delectable devils that I could not stop ogling, I approached the smiling women to get the dibs on the dips. What I encountered was not only a bold taste but a bold business model that can be tasted in each bite. She bakes a cakes, destroy them, and in the process reinvents not only the food but the person making it. Ending up in the DMV post master's degree in Social Work, this baker feels the process of making these balls with love is a form of therapy for those struggling with personal demons and unhealthy dependencies. Listening to her story in awe, she shared her goal of hiring those who not only need a job but who need to be healed. Genius! So yes, there is a cliche that emotions can be tasted in food, but I think this Shameless Chef has proven it fact. I tried: Chocolate^3: the cure to the chocoholic. Pumpkin: pure fall desire. Red Velvet: sinfully good in a sinless size. Carrot Pecan: a smooth and sweet adaptation of a forgotten fibber treat AND the best carrot cake I've ever had. Though what stole the show as well as the actual wedding cake at the wedding was her simple "Vanilla" cake ball. My 2015 favorite dessert of the district. Yes Pixar fans, this is that moment in "Ratatouille" (2007) when Anton Ego food critic tastes one bite of Ratatouille and is transported back in time and left motionless. How can destruction taste so good? I have no idea. Though this perfect bite of pure sweet vanilla is what I have been thinking about even while eating a professional pasty chef's wedding cake.
