Every time you enter, you are greeted by smiles from the Front Desk. Everyone is very kind and has a warm personality, the atmosphere is nice and the interior is beautifully decorated. The only services I have done is cut and color, such as a balayage. This salon and medspa seems to be the one-stop shop for all sorts of needs from hair, tanning, makeup, manicures/pedicures, etc. The massage chairs while you get your hair washed is top notch. Sara is phenomenal. She takes the time to make sure that you are comfortable, listens carefully to what you want, super accommodating and just always does a great job. Even the advice that she gives, she doesn't overstep and try to take anything over without your approval. The entire experience is a breeze with her. I look forward to booking with her again when she gets back from her maternity leave and I would definitely not mind exploring other services.

I also am not comfortable going back to the salon at this point. I am relieved I got my money back but the damage will take years to repair. I wear wigs daily to look professional for work. I'm not sure how I'll manage on vacation at the beach or for photos but given the circumstances I'll have to make do. Hopefully the salon learned to be more cautious and perhaps do a strand test on hair they aren't sure of while also not leaving the bleach on too long.

I had a hard time finding an artist who was in my budget especially because I was just getting my hair and makeup done, none of my bridesmaids or family, and many artists have really high minimums. I'm thankful for Victoria because she could come to my hotel and get me ready and I looked absolutely amazing on my wedding day - my dream look was really achieved. She took my feedback and suggestions really well. She was always very sweet and kind. However, I had some problems leading up to the day that meant I can't leave a 5 star review... I had some communication problems because my emails would sometimes bounce back and my calls go to a phone no longer in service - one time I even had to reach out to her on Facebook to get in touch with her (after I had paid). I booked my trial with her and drove from where I live in DC down to Richmond (even staying in a hotel overnight) and she wasn't there. I was truly shocked. She was very apologetic and came up to meet me in my apartment in DC for my trial instead, but it left a pretty bad impression and made me very anxious for my wedding day. I'm really glad I did the trial because there were some things I wanted to fix for the wedding day (all of which she achieved, except for having the fake eyelashes be a bit too long so they butted up against my glasses, which I pointed out for the trial but was still a problem on the wedding day. I've had my makeup done for other weddings and the fake eyelashes weren't a problem then, so I know shorter ones exist...) Thankfully, she was better at communicating over text after that and showed up on time for my wedding day and everything worked out really well, so all's well that ends well, but there were some bumps in the road.

He studio is cute and clean and relaxing. She was so sweet and has a great sense of humor. She let me snooze, which I often do during my appointments - but while I was awake she was so pleasant to talk with. My lashes look amazing! I feel sexy again ;) I drove over an hour to see her and it was well worth it. I've had a few technicians over the course of time I've been getting lash extensions, and Lisa is certainly in my top 2. She gets so busy so expect to be interrupted often. I sometimes feel that she's kind of mean, maybe she's just burnt out but I definately feel a difference from when she first started compared to now. Sometimes i'd rather lay quietly and leave instead of engaging in a conversation. Don't use the groupons or ask about it, she got really mad at me for bringing it up and it hurt my feelings.
