My only negative experience was with Diane, the booking manager, who was unfortunately rude and unpleasant to communicate with throughout the planning process. Aside from that, I had a wonderful experience with Avenue 42 and would absolutely recommend their artists, especially Becky!

Cancer Patient Refused $500 Refund - Poorly Done Microblading…read more I am a recently diagnosed cancer patient that was seeking to get my eyebrows microbladed. I went to Maria @mariialash for microblading/"nano brows". Her price for this service is $500. I wanted to get this done prior to starting chemo so I could still have natural-looking brows during treatment. Unfortunately, 100% of the pigment that Maria put on my eyebrows fell out, despite following her care instructions. I informed her of this and sent a photo of my plain brows, stating that I am starting treatment any minute and will be unable to do anything that may compromise my immune system such as getting a tattoo, for at least the next year. At this time I requested a refund. She has refused to disperse a refund stating that her disclaimers her clients sign state this could happen. A flimsy "disclaimer" does not excuse a business from providing good service and exercising good judgement. I do not recommend trusting Maria with your money nor your brows.

Like I said in the email, if a customer asks you for a hair color you should be aiming to deliver that. If a customers hair is too damaged according to you, you can't just decide to do your own color without telling the customer. I'm not sure why you are claiming this was discussed during my consultation with Jade, you were not even present during that time. Again she showed me blonde hair and if she was honest with the color SHE (not me) decided looked best she should have showed me photos of the dark brown hair she was planning. I would have said no and left the salon. If you see her phone history for December 31, 2025 at 4:20pm you will see for yourself what I was shown, and it is nowhere near what she did to my hair. I hope your salon does not continue to do the same for new customers like I was and practices honesty. It seems someone else also had a similar experience to me in the reviews here...

On top of that she couldn't do liner because she said it would take way too long on top of the 3.5 hours she took! And she couldn't do lashes as well because there was no variety in style. I came for a natural subdued look and all she had were trashy thick 2 inch lashes. She was plastering layers of makeup on my face it looked so caked. She also had to do and redo eyebrows that took like an hour. Absolutely no consideration for time. Worst spent $65 of my life. The makeup was appalling I left the store holding back tears.
