rib plate

Recommend this local BBQ spot. Stopped in and tried the rib combo plate. Ribs are seasoned well and have a good smoke ring. Side dishes were good. Bundt cake slice was a nice touch. Staff is friendly and ready to assist with any questions. There is more than BBQ on the menu, the wings are also popular. Service is not quick, so be patient, the food is worth it. Restaurant has run out of things which is alright to try different things. Parking is plentiful outside and plenty of room on the interior.

Excellent. The Mac n cheese, the Po Boy, green boys - it's all outstanding. It's literally like I'm at a cook out at home.

The best barbecue in Radcliff. You won't be disappointed. Flavors were good and the sides were really good.

Food was delicious and staff friendly. The place needs to be cleaned and organized but I think they just moved in to the new location.

The first thing I noticed was the huge change that continually occurs while I'm absent. I remember when I first left, the best place to eat was Mom's & G-Moms. Then it was your friend's house- sometimes. I'm from Kentucky. Well, I was introduced to another house, called The Fish House & Grill. This clean and cheerful place with the aroma of grilled, boiled and fried seafood with its seasoning filling the air. Full, but not standing room only, because it rained earlier and weather can be unpredictable at times. But we, a party of 5, were happy as we captured a picnic bench style table to fit all comfortably. We grabbed menus from the cashier and sat down to discuss the menu. I ordered the grilled red snapper and fried chicken gizzards with coleslaw. 15-20 minutes later, steaming hot containers were being brought to the table, aroma AMAZING! The snapper flaked with each fork cut into delicious bite sized melt in your mouth, slap your mamma, mouthfuls. But, I didn't, she was there!!! So I enjoyed every single bite of each and samples of others. I'm adding The Fish House and Grill to the houses I will always eat at in the country!!!

Once you take off the shrimp shell, there went the seasoning. As you can see in the second picture the potatoes were dry, very dry. The corn didn't taste like much, like they threw it in the water to boil it but didn't add salt or butter to it to help with the flavor. Most of the dish, I actually threw out since I just didn't enjoy the taste or texture of the meal.

I have to admit that there once was a time when I hardly knew a thing about the Commonwealth of…read moreKentucky other than that it's the home of KFC. So when I came here, my first thought was going to the nearest KFC restaurant to try their fried chicken where it all started. It just so turns out that this store is the only KFC in the entire Fort Knox-Radcliff area. I came to this restaurant on a morning when the ground was all covered with snow. There were hardly any people there, and I can only imagine that the inclement weather was the cause of the slow business. Nevertheless, the cashier was in quite a cheerful mood and said my order would be coming up in just a moment. And sure enough, my four-piece meal was ready in only about the minute of time that it took for them to put everything together. Radcliff fried chicken is truly delicious, but it's terribly salty, oily, and greasy. I mean it's good, but so bad at the same time. I ordered a four-piece meal for $8.99, and I made sure all the pieces were original and with dark meat. They were all very good, but a little soggy after sitting in the heater for so long and soaking up all that grease. Seriously, I saw a puddle of grease gathered at the bottom of the box when I was done eating. I tilted the box around and watched the puddle roll around the box. Not a good sign when you know that's exactly what your food had been sitting in. Still, I can't deny that the fried chicken here is yummy. It's just that it had obviously been simmering in a ton of its own grease for so long, and I can't give them a higher rating for that reason. The two sides that I also got, the potato wedges and macaroni and cheese, were only okay. The potato wedges had the similar problem of being overly salty, and the macaroni and cheese tasted like they had probably been frozen and just come out of a microwave. But the nice people here did offer me a ten percent military discount, so it's not like I can complain about a whole lot going wrong here.

Let's start off with i am disappointed because I ordered three 5 price chicken strip meals and…read morespent almost $50 dollars and two of my meals only had 4 Strips which was cold hard and hard to eat. Also I asked for coleslaw and they said we are all out of coleslaw. Also they were out of KFC sauce. I will not be returning to KFC . LEES will be getting my business from here on out . I would have given a zero if it would have let me.
