Last summer, we did end up hiring Albert to fix a leak coming from our bathroom. He seemed very…read morenice on the phone and was very responsive into action. He diagnosed the leak to be coming from the shower pan. As a result, we paid him roughly $11k to completely redo the shower and also remove the shower block windows that appeared to be a secondary leak source discovered after. As we were dealing with the issue remotely, he sent plenty of progress photos and cleaned up after the project well. The problem initially seemed fixed. Unfortunately, the identical leak started again within a year, and we scheduled a date for him to check on the shower but he never made it. We rescheduled for another date but he also failed to show up for that and has ignored our messages to remediate the issue. The problem was either misdiagnosed or incorrectly remediated. Either way, we will have to find another contractor to fix what Albert didn't. Two stars rather than one as he was very pleasant and responsive during the initial project.

The new toilet was broken inside and had to be replaced. He did a great inspection of drains etc, then found the problem with the toilet. Had a replacement with him and installed it all in 2 hours. He said Gypsy was the one in charge. I called to cancel the work order and she stated I had to pay a diagnostic fee for them driving out to Seabrook. I told him there was maybe 3 1/2 or 4 hours of work max and to not even send the estimate. The email said $2986, what a discount!!! I called a place in Beaufort that set the tub AND installed a new Moen Faucet, all for $750. It took them less than 4 hours, like I said. There are a bunch of contractors around here that will quote stupid high prices because a lot of people are paying it. Another guy quoted me $3000 to do 80 feet of tile in the tile surround. I wanted a licensed plumber for the insurance behind them but the tile I did myself. I did the entire job, after paying the plumber for $2732.54. New tub, faucet, tile and shower doors included. BEWARE.
