Last summer, we did end up hiring Albert to fix a leak coming from our bathroom. He seemed very…read morenice on the phone and was very responsive into action. He diagnosed the leak to be coming from the shower pan. As a result, we paid him roughly $11k to completely redo the shower and also remove the shower block windows that appeared to be a secondary leak source discovered after. As we were dealing with the issue remotely, he sent plenty of progress photos and cleaned up after the project well. The problem initially seemed fixed. Unfortunately, the identical leak started again within a year, and we scheduled a date for him to check on the shower but he never made it. We rescheduled for another date but he also failed to show up for that and has ignored our messages to remediate the issue. The problem was either misdiagnosed or incorrectly remediated. Either way, we will have to find another contractor to fix what Albert didn't. Two stars rather than one as he was very pleasant and responsive during the initial project.

The new toilet was broken inside and had to be replaced. He did a great inspection of drains etc, then found the problem with the toilet. Had a replacement with him and installed it all in 2 hours. I would never recommend hiring them because of the behavior of this driver/plumber. My grandma was driving us and pulled into the road, and he was driving so fast that he pulled up quickly within a foot or two behind us, she freaked out and slowed down because there was a hundred meters before a red light. He didn't attempt to slow down. He sped around to swerve in front of us and retaliated by slamming on his breaks before moving back into the lane to our left. What an angry, irrational man. Any company with employees allowed to act like this in a marked work truck is a company who is not likely to have your well being in mind and a company who clearly doesn't care about their reputation or quality of work.
