They were so helpful, I heard a lot of bad things about this place. But I believe in the "don't knock it till you try it" saying. I went in with my expectations so low and they definitely proved me wrong. The person in the front gave me the information I needed to receive and she did it with a perfect smile. The photographer was just as friendly, before, during and after my photo shoot we were conversations about movies and etc. and she treated me very elegantly. I left the studio feeling better about myself and they brightened my day. I genuinely believe the negative reviews were probably with a different staff because min was absolutely outstanding read more

This place is way too overpriced and has a monopoly on the schools. You pay a large sum for a sitting fee and then over hundreds of dollars just to get a few photos sent to your house. read more

Doesn't matter how nice the people are. Doesn't matter how nice the actual pictures are. When you need to wait for a solid HOUR before you're called up to get your pictures, there is something wrong. My appointment was at 10:10. I got called up at 11:20. There isn't that much else to say about this place. read more

Stay away from this studio, you can tell by its reviews in the past, I am not sure why Granada high school still hiring this company for their yearbook. I did not receive my daughter's photos hard copy by mail. I requested it to mail it again with possible tracking number but refuses to do so. Very bad customer service. Elsa along with White's studio are unprofessional. GHHS need to cut their contract with this company, obviously there are alot of people that not happy with their service read more

Alicia, the manager at this location is the best!! She has wonderful customer service and really takes the time to help you and meet your needs. Her patience and great attitude really made it a nice experience purchasing my senior portraits! read more

Today at the Northridge location I was assisted by both Cindy and her manager Taneya. In the midst of their super busy day they remained very patient and kind. They helped me order my son's senior portrait as well as helping me search for and order my daughter's portrait from a few years past. In a time where people have little patience and kindness, I just wanted to say "Thank You!" read more

You know, it's such a shame that this place has a monopoly on school and senior photography for all the schools in LA County. This makes them completely detached from their "customer" who is the paying student's parents. While the photographer was good and the most of the poses turned out good, their customer service is the worst. I made an attempt to pick my daughters yearbook photo online, but in order to do that, you have to make a purchase. It's doesn't submit the selection, apparently. Since I was not prepared to make the purchase at that time, I delayed it. Unfortunately the deadline came and went and due to other things going on, I missed it. This was my oversight and my fault, I admit. But when I called to see what the next step is, I was told the picture was already selected by them and submitted. Nothing I could do and they can't make any changes at this point. The picture that was selected by them was one of the worst poses. When they had several options that were flattering, why they chose one that wasn't, is beyond me. It's the only one where she is not smiling. Which is how I feel now. Then I was proceeded to be lied to. I was told that they tried to call me and sent letters and notices. Complete and utter BS. No one called. Ever. We would not be in this situation had they made a call to me. No one returned my email that I sent, ever. No other letters or attempts where made to reach me to ask which photo I wanted because the deadline has past. I was also told another load of crap that 2 people consult on the best pose. Wouldn't it be easier to make a call and ASK the parent who paid for the sitting? I find that very hard to believe. I have a big problem being lied to and this is why I am writing the review. While I made a mistake of missing the deadline, they have the control and power to contact a customer and ask since it's their business and they are working with deadlines.. They didn't do that. Why do they think they can make a decision for a paying customer? The volume of kids coming through there makes them act in a way that customers do not matter because their doors will be full again this time next year. So what if we used the worst picture? It's your fault and none of it really matters to them. read more

Horrible! I paid for $30 for a 2 minute session (that was suppose to be 10 minutes), you get 6 pictures and 1 second to smile/pose differently in between shots, and to top it all off, the photographer told me I have to wait 2/3 weeks to see a PREVIEW. Oh the photographer was quick to finish taking my pictures so that they could get back to sitting and eating by their computer in the room next door. This place is a joke. read more

Terrible customer service. They told me that my senior portraits retakes would take 2-3 weeks to arrive but alas, it has been 3 weeks and there has been no sign of them ever arriving. I called them to confirm if they were on their way and the woman had said that they sent them already and had probably gotten lost in the mail. She then told me that I would have to drop by the studios to see my proofs which is such an inconvenience with the weird hours they have. I called a second time to tell them that the North Hollywood location had at least sent me an email when my original senior portraits were ready and had sent the proofs within 2 weeks. The least they could do was resend the proofs or make sure that they had my proofs still at the office so I wouldn't waste my time going there just to see them. Then the lady had checked if the proofs were at the office and said that the proofs were on their way. Basically, both answers from the workers had contradicted each other so I have no idea which one is correct. I had been lied to, put at an inconvenience for the sake of the company, and I don't even know when or how I'm receiving my senior portraits which is the bottom line. If your school requires senior portraits from White Studios, please go to the location in North Hollywood. read more

I wanted to update my review giving White's 1 star and replace it with 5 stars. BUT, apparently I have to wait awhile before I can do this. So, in the meantime, I am writing a new, separate review. They came through with flying colors--and, their work is top notch. read more

Great place to take pictures . Everyone was very respectable and polite , pictures were awesome.

I went in for my senior portrait and had a super nice photographer who did an amazing job with the pictures! I would definitely recommend coming to White's Studios for your photographs. read more

I am terribly disappointed with my child's senior portrait. It is ridiculous that the High School forces us to use this studio for the year book and they have poor sitting options, ridiculous fees, and even the proofs don't show the actual way they mess up the portrait. Who wants to pay over $100 and have their child's head and hair cut off? The reason? "That's the style to get a close up of the face." Really? Why don't you cut off the chin to match the way you cut off the forehead? Ridiculous. read more

Went in for photos for my business website. Photographer Rebecca did a great job - made me look better than I do in real life, for which I am grateful. read more

I had a great experience taking my daughter in for her senior portraits. The staff greeted us as we walked in and were friendly. They were helpful in going over the sitting fees and styles as well as how long to get information in the mail. The photographer Rebecca was really nice and new what she was doing, my daughter was at ease and we never felt rushed. read more

This place took forever. Waited an hour for an appointment at 3:30 and got called at 4:30. I also arrived early at 3:15. Terrible.

My daughter had her senior portraits which we were required to take here. While they take great pictures and the photographers are very nice, the prices are a complete rip off. The money you pay before the session is only the sitting fee. When we got our proof and wanted to order pictures, we realized that one 8 by 10 picture is $52 dollars which I do not understand at all. Packages range from $150 -$500 dollars. If we already paid for a sitting fee, then why should a print of one photo cost $52? Overall, we are not too thrilled. read more

This is my fourth attempt to have my daughters pictures adjusted by this location and all I get is blank stares when I ask the staff to look at the errors on the prints. I have blotches of photo editing paint on her hair, along with attempts of editing her face with horrible touch ups I never requested. Spending almost $600 dollars for senior shots that are horrible due to lack of proper editing review. I asked for a discount and was offered 10% after spending $600 on pictures now going into 90 days of waiting since I received our first set. I have requested to speak owner Kevin White and was told he will never be available to clients. Taneya completely takes no ownership for the mistakes her photo lab have been making. She blames it on them and I had to remind her it's one team under the White Studios brand, they all represent white studios. Unfortunately schools force parents to use this place and it has been nothing but nightmares. In addition they submitted the wrong edited pictures for her yearbook. Stay away from this nightmare place and boycott your school using them for senior shots. read more

Quick service friendly reception. That is the only good thing I have to say. hey have a monopoly on the schools. This is basically JC Penny's unprofessional photographers taking pictures. I had concerns watching her take the photo's but I figured for the amount of money I am paying they must know what they are doing. Got the pictures today and NOPE. I called and spoke to the manager and she said "I don't feel three is anything wrong with them". Well, that is your opinion! I am the customer and your President & CEO clearly is quoted as selling "Satisfaction Guaranteed". I paid a lot of money for hair and makeup for this special day and it has left m daughter in tears. The manager was annoyed with me and she offered to do the sitting again fro free but I have to choose one of the yearbook photos they provided as SHE felt they were fine. What the heck kind of response is that?!?!? Kevin White - please respond. read more
