It's been almost a year and I'm getting better and better. I'm always welcomed by the front desks who greet me with a smile, and I'm always helped by the owner's son. The owner is enthusiastic every time a new customer walks in and I'm always happy when I'm there. Being comfortable is what I've always needed especially with stage fright and with their open space, I've been able to gather some perks of singing when others are around. He leveled the frets, adjusted the custom nut, saddle, pins and worked on the back of the neck. It's the best it's ever sounded with a deep residence for a Martin! It never sounded like that before. Ted at TC Guitars made it playable and a joy to pick up! Next, I got my 1978 Ovation 1618 for a tuneup. This amazing 48 year old guitar sounds great and easier to play after Ted's skilled hands made it right. This guitar is a stunner for almost 50 years old and now I really enjoy it! Jackpot. John is not only a very experienced luthier, he is an industry veteran and with encyclopedic knowledge of equipment. Did all the work requested, found some other issues (broken nut), and charged me the original quoted price. His pricing was fair and work was completed on time. You can tell John loves his work and is a great guy. I will never take a guitars or gear to anyone else for repairs. I highly recommend John Dees.
