One of his keys was bent and he had some dents on the instrument. I don't know if that's normal and if any other parents has gone through that, but man....... it's super expensive. Several times while paying for the instrument to get fixed I contemplated on trading the kid in for drums or something, heck... even a harmonica, but Nick Rail wasn't budging. They didn't want a kid that breaks instruments, so I was at a lost. Such a bummer. Having said that, Nick Rail did an amazing job getting all the kinks and ninja attacks out. The instrument looked new. It was bright and shiny once more. I probably haven't seen it in this shape since he first had gotten the instrument about 5yrs ago. Processing time of the instrument was a little delayed and didn't get fixed in a timely fashion, but overall I was happy with the fix. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. I also didn't know they actually give lessons inside, so if your child is a music enthusiast or even yourself, then check it out. I'm not too sure on pricing.

I…read morehad left the guitar out in a dry and hot environment, so when I began to play the guitar sounded dull and I couldn't get a clear chord when fretting, despite installing new strings, so I knew that work was necessary. I contacted the proprietor and brought the guitar to his home place of business. He examined everything and told me it needed a setup. The guitar was ready the following day and it now plays easily and beautifully after a bridge and truss rod adjustment. Service was $40. I went to this location in hopes of finding a computer monitor. I came here after visiting three…read moreother pawn shops in Bakersfield and not finding what I was looking for with a reasonable price. (Reasonable price, under $150) I came to this location and within 5-10 minutes found exactly what I was looking for. They had about five to seven monitors for $20 each. The catch! These monitors only accepted VGA hookups so to use them with a modern computer you would need an adapter. I finally settled on one that I liked and asked to see it. The association didn't have a way to test it out so it was for sure a gamble on my end but for the price of twenty bucks how picky can you be. This location had an assortment of different interesting things that people have traded in over the years so if you are into collecting things like coins, baseballs, memorabilia, etc. you may want to check them out. (Plot Twist: the monitor didn't work when I got it home and all sales are final so that was twenty dollars down the drain. I may come back for the other cool stuff they had. )
