TLDR: the ring is gorgeous, the price was unbelievable, and the service was my absolute favorite…read morepart of the process. something that i didn't necessarily fully realize when shopping for an engagement ring is: you only do this once. since i haven't purchased an engagement ring before, i had a ton of questions for each jeweler i visited. many dismiss your questions, or take the question in a different direction based on what they want you to purchase, that's not the case with any of the employees at Jalisco. the first time i visited, i sat with the girls and asked questions for over an hour with my girlfriend. the next time i came, we found what turned out to be "the one", and when Gaby noticed that my girlfriend liked the ring, she found a way to slyly make a plan to get me back so we could talk prices and timeline. when i came back, Gaby told me everything up front, nothing hidden, let me take my time, and offered me exactly what i told her i was looking for (which is rare when you are searching for a ring). most people hide what you're looking for until the last moment, when you feel like you have to settle for something else, then they price gouge you for having what you want. when i picked the ring up, Gaby delivered the exact same service and flexibility she had before, and even gave me a nice engagement-warming gift :) i couldn't be more happy with the ring, and neither could my fiance. the diamond is so beautiful and exactly what was promised, and the jeweler did an impeccable job with the band and setting. i studied the ring for about 30 minutes when i first got home with it, and couldn't find a single flaw. i will continue to come back to these folks because of the simple, but impressive fact that they are the one of two honest businesses in the jewelry industry i had the pleasure of meeting. prior to finding Gaby's help, i attended over 30 different appointments between the valley and bay area in CA. thanks again team :)

I acquired a large Benitoite stone and wanted it set in an engagement ring. After calling around to…read moreseveral places - they all offered to buy the stone but not set it in a ring. Not exactly what you want to hear. I got referred to John Pereira and he explained all the risks and rewards, plus told me it was my stone, and my money - and he would do the best to make it great. Boy did he. Not only did he create a beautiful ring, he and his wife drove over 2 hours each way to hand pickup & deliver my ring. That's the kind of service you don't get from jewelry stores advertising on TV. I highly recommend Pereira's Jewelry.

I was pleased with the thorough review of my watches for battery corrosion and meticulous manner he handled my watches. Ed was able to replace the batteries for my Bulova and Belaire, but discovered that the battery in my Nixon watch was still good, but there was an issue with the battery contacts and recommended that I send in to Nixon's service center. I soon learned that Ed's father had founded the shop several years ago and has been in business for years! I recommend Ed's Tick Tock Jewelers for all watch servicing and I plan on having my watch collection maintained by Ed. Bottom line: fair prices, outstanding customer service and a local business!
