Make sure give fresh food ordered fried okra and it was cold like they took out fridge and warmed up

Our food was delicious. Our order was correct. The server was friendly and timely. She was also informative to our questions.

I ordered the special of the day which was two pieces of dark meat chicken, fries, and a roll for $4.99. It was a great value for all the food I got. The chicken was hot and delicious. The fries were good, but I would try some of their other sides next time. Basically no COVID precautions if that's something you're concerned about. Got a pound of brisket and a rack of ribs, both were very good. The ribs were a little overdone but I imagine because of the amount they sell they were sitting for a little while as they tend to cook ahead of time. I was not impressed with the mac & cheese whatsoever, the coleslaw was pretty good nothing special. I would however recommend the brisket as the price per pound is very very reasonable. read more

Been awhile since I've been here. I liked getting the giant burger plate. It used to be great! The food has now taken a turn for the worse. The fries are some version of something you would make from a grocery store. Onion rings over done. They also pass a 5% fee for using a debit/credit card. Really good food for what it is. It is a bridge between fast food and sit down. We have been here a few times and have had burgers, brisket, fried chicken, french fries, fried okra, side salad and mac and cheese. Everything has been pretty good. It is all pretty standard food. Most of it was not really innovative, but nicely executed. The exception was the brisket. It was pretty dang good. Much better than I expected. Actually some of the better I have ever had, and I have had a lot of brisket. It is fast and reasonably priced. We will be back. read more

It's a local , southern , burger fries and bbq joint that gives you plenty of food for your money and happens to have some of the absolute BEST BRISKET I have ever had. This is the second time we have been to this place. The first time was for dinner and I have the brisket plate. The second time was for lunch and I had the Giant Cheeseburger plate. Both meal were very good. I enjoy most of the side but I would not get the fries again so that I could get the other sides. The service was good, the place was clean and the food was good. Met a friend at Whitefords. It was my first and will be my last visit. With the name including "Giant Burger", I expected it to be huge so I opted for the regular cheeseburger. My friend had the same. We got our burgers and they were tiny with no cheese. We let them know we were missing cheese, so they said they'd bring us some fresh ones. They brought us 2 slices of cold cheese straight from the refrigerator. Staff did not appreciate customers or cater to service. read more

I went to my first Whiteford's in Clinton Sc and it was wonderful, so today I had to be in Laurens Sc and stopped to eat. Green beans tasted awful, chicken was not tender, sweet potato casserole was dry and the girl behind the counter was rude. It is customers that pay her salary, so I will not be back to this location. Came here while staying in Clinton during hurricane Irma. The owner was wonderful, asked us questions about our trip, where we were from, and told us he would personally take care of our food prep. Clearly someone who loves the business they own. The Southern country food is what we came for but I believe this establishment could be considered a burger joint. Sad thing is food is usually pretty good, but service at night really stinks. You can tell the morning staff cooks all the food for the day and prepackages all they can so the high school kids working at night just have to grab it and toss on your tray. My husband and I had the ribs and I have to admit that they were fall off the bone delish . I was told by a local in the restaurant they are known for the fried chicken. The customer service was great and very attentive. The overall atmosphere was a 50's type diner with an old school type juke box playing. We'll be back if we pass through Laurens again. read more

It is the only place in town where you can get a cheeseburger that comes close to the best California hamburgers (I mean a grilled hamburger with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles).
