Ambiance: 5 stars. It is Monday Thanksgiving Day 2025 and the place is hopping. Food: 4 stars We ordered vanilla bean and blueberry milkshakes. Enough for 2 each. We also ordered sweet potato fries as an appetizer to share. I found the fries a bit soft but the dipping sauce was delicious. The main course was their special turkey dinner which was very good. They ran out of cheesecake and pumpkin pie by 4:45pm but the apple pie was fresh out of the oven and super hot. Service: 4 stars Excellent at the beginning but as the place filled after 4:30pm, the service slowed to a crawl. Overall Last year they ran out of turkey dinner before 5pm. So we arrived at 3:30pm this year and got some turkey. However, similar to last year, they were telling people they ran out of turkey dinner at 4:45pm again. We found out they also ran out around 4:45pm Sunday as well. You would think they would learn as they keep running out of turkey dinners at the same time for 2 years in a row . order double or triple the turkey. Went there yesterday for lunch, clean place, and staff was friendly. I have a hard time finding a restaurant that actually knows how to cook fish properly without overdoing it. Well I finally found a place, I will be back for fish again and again. Well done White Spot. read more

Terrible, no greet, no drinks, an hour to get cold burgers, had to ask twice for cutlery and the manager was like the teenager from the Simpsons with the cracking voice. Half off but no thanks. Just had an interesting experience with Karen the supervisor at the White Spot in Vernon. We are here from MB with our vaccine passports which prove we are double vaxxed "karen" was incapable of applying critical thinking when her qr code scanner couldn't read our government issue card. Any tourists outside of BC should avoid this restaurant as you will not be believed to be vaccinated even if you have government issued ID. We are now in Kelowna where we and our cards were accepted with open arms at Milestones. Avoid disappointment and Karen at the white Spot! read more

We've had good experiences at White Spot previously but after the last two times we've been there, we won't be returning to the Vernon location. Took fifteen minutes to be acknowledged by the waitress - another 15 for drinks to arrive. We placed our orders at that time and half an hour later we still hadn't received them, nor had our waitress come back for drink refills. There were other tables but I wouldn't call it busy by any means. The time before, they delivered two cold burgers after half an hour but had forgotten about the third order (a salad) so we had to wait another ten minutes for that. Great place. The staff are experienced and are really good at making you feel welcome and fulfilling your needs. It was busy for breakfast and everyone was working hard sending food out. My wife had the shrimp florentine eggs hard which was prepared perfect. I had classic eggs benny eggs medium which was also cooked perfect. White Spot is near and dear to me, I have been going for their fish and chips since I was 7 back in Westbank. I recently moved to Vernon and have tried White Spot here a few different times. EVERY time, they have been late with my online order. Now, I understand delays, but do not estimate a time and then never meet it. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE was my last and final time at this location. We ordered online as usual, and were told it would be about 35 minutes. Fine, things get busy. When we got the the restaurant we waited inside as normal. There was already two people waiting on their online orders. They had been here for 20 minutes on top of their estimated time. Finally a hostess comes up to us and explains there is a "shortage of chefs" so food is taking a while. She gave us another estimated 30 minute wait. In about 20 minutes 5 other groups entered the building, were told the news, and left. I think we waited for over an hour before leaving in frustration without ANYTHING. So disappointed in their management. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. Such a shame to waste a good name. read more

I ordered a spaghetti and meatball never in my 40 years of life have I ever heard of a spaghetti and meatballs coming with Alfredo sauce it does not say on their menu that they have Alfredo sauce so someone with a severe dairy allergy would not assume that ordering a spaghetti and meat sauce and it's going to come with Alfredo sauce needless to say when this came and I called the restaurant to ask about it the lady said it was my fault for not telling them that that was my allergy and that she didn't know why I didn't liked it because she loved it and it was her favourite worst customer service ever Barb you should be fired. I usually like White Spot. It's been great in the past. This one is not like the others at all. No greeting. We thought we walked in the wrong door. After we finally got coffee we placed our order. I brought my girlfriend in for lunch on Sat Mar23rd. She is in a wheelchair and although there is Disability parking, getting into the restaurant was another story. There is no automatic door button on either the outside or inside door. She would never have been able to get in on her own. Once I maneuvered us in we were taken to the first table on the left where we sat for 15 min with no service. Finally someone who wasn't our server came over. She took our order then it was brought by someone different. My girlfriend ordered her favorite Calamari but couldn't eat it as it was too chewy. They did remove the cost of this for her. All in all, I won't be bringing her back unless they make it Wheelchair friendly. read more

Not recommended for breakfast. Ordered eggs Benny and the eggs were over cooked, the smashed potatoes had little flavor. The fruit cup was not fresh, as the melon was starting to congeal around the edges. The waitress was not the most pleasant, never asked how the food was, and when I complained about the eggs, she did say sorry but not in an appologetic tone. She gave a discount on the bill, and when we asked why, she grumpily said it was because I complained about the eggs.. will not be going back for breakfast again. read more

I don't care for White Spot for dinner - my kids like the "pirate ship" but seriously they get less then 10 grapes, and their meals are way less food then any other chain. But they like it - for the pirate ships and the chocolate coin. I have never been happy with my order anytime I have been here for dinner. Won't bother to go into that because that's not what my review is about.... Had "Brunch" today, ordered the Eggs Benedict. Was a bit apprehensive because I haven't had a good one in ages! Realized after she left (great waitress BTW) she didn't ask how I wanted my eggs!!!! Argh! So I get my order, cut in, and OMG, eggs were perfectly cooked (just runny) and the dish was great! I had asked for "crispy" smashed potatoes and they were lovely. I am not a fan of White Spot food - but was seriously the best Eggs Benedict I have had in at least 2 years. This is one of the better whitespot's in the province. Service is good and the food is very constent. If you order the burger get extra triple o sauce on the side and dip your fries in it. It's not healthy but ohhhhh soooo gooood. read more

I have 2 kids so I'm a frequent visitor to White Spots around greater Vancouver as well as Triple O's and typically have very good meals and service. Sadly my visit to the Vernon location is summed up in one word - Disappointment. The only thing that went well was the initial drink service where I put my kids order in at the same time. Their food came relatively quickly (gotta keep the lil ones busy!). After that it was all downhill. It was a late lunch and we were heading to the beach so I ordered something that I thought would be quick - chicken ceasar. After about 20min we flagged down the waitress who had yet to stop by, even though it was not busy and my drink had been empty for some time, to ask where our food was. Her response after checking with the kitchen was to come out with the food. Her excuse was there was a large take out order ahead of us? Hmm Our order was a salad and a cup of soup!? How long does that take? Sadly it was clear my salad had been sitting there for some time. The toast bread and chicken was stone cold. The amount of chicken was about equal to a large chicken strip!? Pretty sad. I rarely send food back but this was too much. I filled in the waitress who said she would have a new one made. Given how long we waited originally along with getting one that was poorly executed on I figured the new one would come very quickly. Not to be. After about 10min of waiting my son started to melt down, can't say I blame him, and I told the waitress to cancel my order as we needed to go. Been here 5 times within the last 6 years. Used to love White Spot back in the day. Food has gone downhill. Service is ... bad.

Had dinner there the other night with the kids. Used the washrooms before sitting down. The toilet in the men's looked like it was from a well used truck stop and my wife said the women's wasn't much better and it was clear it had not being cleaned for a while. After that we sat down and ordered. While sitting waiting for food I notice out of the corner of my eye there's ants crawling all over us. Both me and the rest of my family jumped out of the booth and brushed our selves off. What a gross feeling. Right away our waitress moved us to the booths next to the bar. We received no apologies from the waitress or staff at all. So we end up waiting for 45 mins for two kids meals and two beef dips with fries to come out. Every single one of the dishes of food were totally cold and soggy. The only thing hot was the gravy for the fries. Both our beef dips were suppose to be beef on a toasted bun. It was more like an extremely soggy bun filled with wet slimy cold beef. The fries weren't crispy they had clearly been sitting just as long. The kids meals were pretty sad the grapes in one were going bad and we had to pick out a bunch. It came with a soggy grilled cheese that my 6 year old refused to eat after one bite. The other kids meal was macaroni and cheese and turned out good. Thank god for Kraft dinner. The vegetables on the other hand were not washed properly the carrots still had dirt on them and we're looking rather aged. Just like the whole restaurant. The place was dirty and looks like it's starting to get a bit run down. I was rather irritated when we left, still no apology no break on the bill no goodbye nothing and no one to be seen. Overall the staff was useless and seemed like they all had better things to do. The food was absolute crap and way over priced. The bathrooms were dirty. The whole restaurant was dirty where ever you looked and the booths were crawling with ants. Honestly I think I could have gotten a better meal and service at McDonald's. Such a shame white spot Vernon is such a dive. The one I go to in kelowna is wonderful and the food is great. read more
