My initial cleaner that was referred to me no-showed. I was very upset since this was scheduled a week prior, and I came down from Orange County. She doesn't have a Yelp page or I would be telling people to stay away So now I'm in a huge pickle because the new Tenant was moving in on a Sunday, it's a holiday weekend, and it's super short notice. I sent out requests through Yelp, and got a ton of businesses messaging me. First thing that was super frustrating was my message to all these vendors was I needed this service on a Sunday early morning before my Tenant moves in. And literally every single company either did not read the messages or disregarded it, except WHB Cleaning. I believe I was talking to the Owner via Yelp chat, but unfortunately don't recall her name at the moment. She was empathetic to my situation and patient. She got me setup with a cleaning appointment early Sunday morning! The cleaner was punctual and very nice. She confirmed what I was looking for and in my opinion, went above and beyond in what was expected. Pricing wise, I felt was REALLY GOOD compared to what I normally pay cleaners up here in Orange County. I'd definitely hire them again when the Tenant eventually moves out.

The installation itself was completed on schedule, but I was left to clean everything up afterward. The crew did not clean, and after I pointed out a few issues, they did come back and address them. That said, there were quality concerns, such as using gray nails on a black garage component and not installing an edger. I also added an item that their installer did not complete. When I later requested a quote for two additional closets, I was upfront and transparent that I planned to get three quotes. I was then told I would have to pay $100 for a quote because I had used a competitor for other projects in my home. I found this unreasonable and unprofessional.

They scratched the paint on the wall, damaged the closet area, and never repaired it properly. I called the office the following day to report both the poor scheduling and the unacceptable quality of work. No one followed up with us. The only response we received was a text message stating that if we wanted the problems fixed, they would need to send someone else--and that it would cost us extra. This is completely unacceptable. I will never recommend this business to anyone. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

    Charged Nearly $2,000 Over Quote -- Breach of Contract, Legal Action Pending…read more We were quoted $4,459 for our project, which we accepted despite our budget being lower. We even cleared the entire space beforehand to help expedite their process and reduce costs. However, we were shocked to be charged over $6,400--nearly $2,000 more than agreed. We understand it's not always going to 100% reflect the quote, but there was no prior notice or written approval of extra charges. When we questioned the overage, they claimed they gave us "their most generous discount to date," which was misleading and unacceptable. We disputed the charge with American Express, but were told the final bill they gave us after the work counted as "written notice," despite no prior communication about the increase. This is unfair and contradicts their own contract terms. After consulting with an attorney, we were advised the company is in breach of contract. If they do not refund the overage and honor the original quote, we are fully prepared to take legal action. This review is a final effort to resolve the matter before going to court. Future clients, proceed with caution--get everything in writing.

She also offered to refund part of the organization fee since I decided to only do the kitchen. I really appreciate her willingness to clarify and make things right. Rachel is incredibly kind, friendly, and an absolute powerhouse when it comes to cleaning. She made my home look spotless -- every surface gleamed, everything smelled fresh, and her attention to detail in the main cleaning work was fantastic. It was such a relief walking into such a fresh, tidy space. That being said, there were a few small things that could be improved. For whatever reason, I felt like she was very rushed. The trash was left right outside the apartment without a new bag in the bin, and the dishwasher wasn't started -- small touches I've had with other cleaners in the past that make a nice difference. I had also paid for organization, originally planning to do the guest room and kitchen, but when she arrived I decided to just do the kitchen. The charge stayed the same, which I wish had reflected the smaller scope. Overall, Rachel's cleaning skills are truly excellent, and she's a joy to work with. With a little more consistency on the smaller finishing touches and more clarity in pricing, her service would be perfect. I would still recommend her to anyone looking for a deep, high-quality clean.

I've always leaned toward the messy, unorganized side of things in all parts of my life. I even used to joke that I had hoarding tendencies. During the pandemic, I moved into full-on hoarder mode. I had so many things piled up in my house that I couldn't get around easily. Amazon boxes were everywhere! And I hated being home. In June 2022, I decided I had had enough and interviewed three different professional organizers. As soon as Amy and I spoke on the phone, I knew we were fated for each other! She made me feel so comfortable even on the phone and I believed that she could help me overcome a lifetime of keeping things! Amy and I have been working together regularly since then (with breaks during my busy tax times). Together, we've tackled the kitchen, the bedroom, my home office, the living room, my extra bedroom (which has now become my "she shack!"), the garage, and the exterior storage cabinets. Once we emptied the garage, I then emptied the off-site storage (10'x20') back into my garage. Today, JunkMD hauled away the last of the mess and my car can finally live in my garage after 17 years!! I don't know how to express how happy I am! Amy asked me the first time we worked together what my goals were and I said to feel lighter, less weighed down by things, and for my home to become an oasis. Amy has helped me to achieve those goals and more! She is such a pleasure to work with. Her approach is to ask how hard you want her to push, and then she lives up to that agreement.
