I don't know where to begin, so I'll start by saying that my rental house is generally run down. The appliances are old, the toilets had years of limescale build-up, the kitchen counters were a dull granite. I also have three very little kids, so it's hard for me to stay on top of major cleaning.Then construction dust blew in through the kitchen window, so much of it came in that it actually set off our fire alarm. My house. was. a. DISTASTER. And I needed it deep cleaned at short notice. Enter: Go Clean, who I contacted at 5pm. They were kind enough to move another appointment to squeeze me in the next day at noon. Two people, Sasha and Moni, showed up in masks and got to work. They spent a couple of hours cleaning every surface of my kitchen--and I mean, they even polished my Brita filters and toaster. They also cleaned my dining chairs, two of which were caked with old food from my twin toddlers. I asked for an oven clean add-on. I figured they'd spray some toxic cleaner and run the oven, or whatever, for an hour before wiping it down. NOPE! Sasha scrubbed every inch of it by hand. It was spattered with black charcoal and oil, and now it is a gleaming green (see pix)! Moni was on her hands and knees getting spots off the floors. They're really old laminate, but she made them look almost brand new. Three hours after Sasha and Moni arrived, three more people came to help them finish the job. For the next two hours, five people swept, scrubbed, dusted, and polished. The toilets are shining bright again. And if this hasn't convinced you that the people at Go Clean take extreme pride in their work AND are skilled, I'll close by sharing a bit about my mother-in-law who is extremely houseproud. Once a year this woman in her 70s gets on her hands and knees with a toothbrush to clean the grout of her tiled floors. She has NEVER hired anyone to help her clean her home because no one in her opinion could be thorough and detail-oriented as she is. Until yesterday, I agreed with her!! And you know what? I couldn't even ven get past the texting. I requested a quote and was given one without the company rep reviewing my property first. They spent way too much of my time via text and tried to convince me of how long it would take 3 people to clean my home - I guess they are also psychic. While they went back and forth via text, I had another company on site, reviewed and gave me a quote without pressuring for more. And it is one person who agreed with exactly my estimation of turnaround time and quoted a lower price. If it takes 3-4 hours to clean an empty house that has been remodeled, painted, and already cleaned, swept, mopped of major debris, then there is an issue. $135 per hour for 3 people, 3-4 hours...I think not. With that many people it should take no more than half hat time but we will never know because he company was too busy texting and lost my interest, time, and business. I was using another cleaning service before but was unable to get an appointment, so I decided to try Go Clean. I am so glad I did! Communication from the beginning was prompt. Teresa, Irma and Karina arrived right on time, plus they sent a heads up text when they were on there way. I was at work and came home for lunch just as they were finishing. My house look spectacular. Teresa walked me through the house to make sure everything was to my liking. I was more than pleased, I loved it. But it was after they left that i noticed other details. I accepted thinking it would be cheaper. It cost more than the deep clean(sq ft) whole house charge that is on their website. I hired GoClean to clean our apartment when we moved out this month. I selected their "movein/moveout" package and added on window cleaning and having the interior of the microwave cleaned. The cleaning team was on time and very professional. They did an excellent job cleaning all the appliances and tile surfaces. The bathroom in particular was sparkling. My only complaint is that the carpet was not as thoroughly cleaned as I would have liked. There was one strip of wall that was entirely missed in our living room and there were still bits of cat fur scattered throughout the apartment. The carpet is a thick shag carpet which are more challenging to clean thoroughly, so keep that in mind if that is what you have. They did ask me to inspect before they left and I was too pressed for time to do a thorough job, so it is possible they would have corrected these issues if I had caught them before they left. All-in-all I think this service is a very good value ($200 is relatively inexpensive for the job they did). I would hire them again for my current apartment which has regular and not shag carpeting. read more

When I requested a quote, I received a prompt and thorough response. I was pleased they use green products upon request (method and simple green) or will use products I have on hand, if I prefer that. I mentioned that my dog recently passed away so the clean may be heavy this time due to her hair but I didn't think it would be a "deep clean." I was offered a "mix" of regular and deep clean so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. The morning of my service, I received a text that the team was en route. Cristi and Liz arrived promptly at the scheduled time and asked me if I had any special requests or questions. I left for work and received a text when they were done so I went home at lunch to check it out, and, WOW! Everything was so clean from top to bottom, they really exceeded my expectations. I was thrilled to see just about every surface in my house sparkling and my glass stove top looks like brand new! All of my stainless steel appliances and sinks were polished, they cleaned all my windows on the inside and both the inside and outside of my sliders. My place is relatively small so they even wiped down the furniture on my covered deck. At every turn, I discover something else they cleaned, down to my tv remotes! They also made the Kleenex in my bathroom into a decoration and tucked my toilet paper in, like at a hotel, which was another nice touch. The only con to Go Clean is that Cristi & Liz did such a great job that I don't want to touch or use anything! After eating dinner, I didn't want to wash my dishes because the sinks were so sparkly...so beware, lol! Phenomenal!!! I was shocked and amazed by how detailed the cleaning was done. The base boards, vents, windows, washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, everything.... They left no part of my home untouched and unclean! Even down to the decorative touch on my roll of toilet paper. They went above and beyond our expectations in making our new home move in ready! This is the first time that I have used a cleaning service ever, and I will be back. I had Teresa's team ( Hope I am spelling that right ) and all of them were very polite. They showed up right at the end of the window, so make sure you block off the entire time, as well as the team will not physically contact you that they are there, but instead you will get a notification from Go Clean telling you they are there. I do not particularly like this system, but this is not a knock on Theresa's team. I cannot say enough about the clean job that they did on my apartment. They honestly cleaned things that I did not know were even dirty. My bathroom was pristine, kitchen smelling fresh, and they even wiped down the base boards. My toilet was a new color afterwards. All in all, love the job they did, and will be doing it every couple of months to do the deep cleaning that I 1. don't want to do 2. Don't keep the cleaning supplies for. They get a 5 start for ease of booking and response time. Due to the good reviews I thought I'd get extra detailed cleaning. I paid $279 for a move in cleaning of a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment, 900 sq ft. They forgot to clean the upper kitchen cabinet over the fridge (which Is pointed out) and the floors which were all wood (except kitchen) still had some light dirt marks on them that a little scrubbing would have removed. First off I was expecting just one person for a little extra help here at my apartment and I got three. I helped a little but they handled the bulk of the work for me. I have used Go Clean 2 times and am very pleased with their services. The teams always arrive on time, work quickly, and have great attention to detail. They usually clean my entire 2 bedroom townhouse in about 2 hours and as someone with small children and who works from home I really appreciate how fast they work, and that they don't cut corners. I do work hard the day before to clear away all clutter and put away toys etc before they arrive so I'm sure that helps them to get to cleaning and work faster. It seems they even do a little extra, more than they have to... I won't mention what that is in case they aren't "supposed to", but it makes me happy to see that go above and beyond. They even worked around my constant rescheduling requests (we had a sick child the first time, and had caught the cold myself the 2nd time) so I really appreciated that. I am also really sensitive to cleaning products and don't like room sprays and when I requested they don't spray Lysol, Febreeze etc around the house or on the linens/couch they were very polite and made sure not to use them the 2nd time. I think the main lady's name was Berta (?) that is in charge and she does a great job. Will be using these guys on the regular! read more
