Was looking for a deep cleaning service on a rental I own and just moved out of. After 15 yrs it definitely needed some professional cleaning. Dustin emailed immediately back and had a date for me the very next day! Booking was easy. VERY responsive with emails and texts!! I wasn't there for the cleaning so payment was done via Venmo (awesome!!) They were done within 4hrs and did a FANTASTIC job!!!! The windows. Windowsills!!! The door tracks are like new!!! The kitchen cabinets. Like new. Im more confident now showing the condo. I'm just so impressed it still smells clean and it was a week ago!! read more

I knew this going in but I think it's important to note that this place coordinates jobs for various independent contractors. The night before our cleaning appointment, the coordinator sent an email asking if we could switch the time frame to the afternoon. We were flexible so we said ok but the cleaners showed up at 9am the next morning. A man and a woman arrived with supplies and asked what I needed. I specifically said that I wanted the windows and window tracks cleaned because we just had construction done when I submitted my initial request with Dusty's online but this information wasn't relayed to the cleaners so I mentioned it again. The man cleaned the downstairs bathroom then had to go to the store for the woman. He was gone for about 45 minutes. After about two hours they started packing up. Since I was told it was a three hour minimum at $75/hour, I asked them to clean a few more areas. I felt like I had to micromanage and wondered what would have been left undone if I wasn't home to give direction. They did a good job but some things were done quickly. For example, the appliances on the kitchen counter weren't moved to be cleaned under or around. My daughter's room wasn't vacuumed, and some of the windows were left uncleaned. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I'll go with a personal referral in the future. read more

We have been fortunate enough to use Dustys services for move in and move out cleanings at our home for the past few years. I can't tell You how hard his crew works-they leave no space unturned! Through but not inefficient either. They provide a good value for the cost as well. Super friendly too And have been super accommodating on scheduling as well. Only wish I could have Dustys at my other home! read more

Look no further for a cleaning service. Dustin greeted us over the phone promptly with a great quote and a scheduled window to clean our 5 bedroom condo with ease. I worked alongside our two energetic and friendly cleaning girls for 4 hours and can say they did an amazing job. There's a reason Dusty's is the top rated service in SD. Best value for your money for any job. Thanks again! Mark read more

Two people showed up to clean and I gave them directions on what areas I wanted clean. It was a move-in clean, so nothing was in the apartment and I told them to not clean toilets. So they had to clean two vanities, two showers, a kitchen and a patio. In 3 hours the clean was pretty mediocre. If I had cleaned by myself for 3 hours I would have done about the same. For $225 I would not recommend them to anyone. From now on I will just clean myself. I had never paid for a cleaning, but thought I would give it a shot this time. After this experience it makes no sense. There was a young woman and young man. The young girl did a decent job cleaning the bathrooms and showers, they were definitely an improvement and the areas she cleaned were pretty good. They cleaned the cabinets and a patio and made an improvement on the spaces, but multiple areas were still sticky and hadn't been touched. The young man wasn't in a rush to do much of the areas and the young woman did a bulk of the work. Also, there were 3 bags of trash, they only took one. Overall they cleaned the place decently and made it livable, but I did have to go through multiple areas and improve. I would say they were ok, but I wouldn't pay for them again. read more

I just moved out of my super dirty apartment, and didn't have time to clean it, so I called Dusty's Cleaning Services. He sent Sonia out, and she did an amazing job on it. The apartment was a complete disaster, and when she left, it was spotless! The before and after condition was like night and day! She was there on time, was polite, professional and a hard worker! Scheduling was easy and Dusty was very responsive to my questions. If I need my new house cleaned, I'll be sure to call him again. read more

We recently took over a new office space that wasn't cleaned prior to our arrival. Looking for a company to do a deep office cleaning was more difficult than I imagined. Luckily, we found Dusty's cleaning! They replied very quickly and we were able to set up a time within a few days. Vivian arrived on time and was very professional. We scheduled for an after hours cleaning and after spending a few minutes doing a walk through, we knew that not only was it going to be great, but had no hesitation to leave our office in her hands. Our office space is about 2000 sq ft, and in an older downtown building. Vivian did an excellent job making it feel like we were the first tenants there. The office looks great and we've had multiple comments about it. A huge HUGE thank you to Vivian and Dusty for doing such an amazing job! read more

We scheduled a cleaning with DUSTY'S over a week ago. Our newborn daughter comes home tomorrow from the NICU, and has a very weak immune system. Having a clean house for her is imperative. First, the owner called to tell us they would be a little late. 45 minutes after they were supposed to arrive, he called to tell us that one of his cleaners is all of the sudden "sick" and that they won't be coming at all. The owner rejected our call back, and sent an email that was very apologetic. He wanted to know what he can do to make up for it. Unfortunately, we wouldn't trust him or his company in our house now, even if the cleaning was free. This is one of the worst customer experiences we've ever had, and would not recommend DUSTY'S cleaning services to ANYONE! Such bad business! read more

Dustin's customer service is great, it's just a shame that some of his cleaners are not up to par. We had a 2.5 hour cleaning that resulted in some areas being dirtier than when they arrived. For example, they emptied a container full of dirt in our trash can and got it all over, but didn't bother to clean it up. It was also clear that they were trying to run out the clock and were witnessed walking in slow motion to the car. Dusty did attempt to rectify the situation and we tried to set up a new cleaning, but it hasn't happened. It's been about two weeks and we haven't been contacted with possible dates, so at this point we're just going to wish the business well and continue our search for a house cleaner. Two stars for Dustin's apology and refund check. read more

I had the house cleaning service and carpet cleaning and shampooing service done with dusty. They were within their specified arrival time and did an amazing job. When I came home to see what his cleaners did, the whole apartment looked new! The counters and cabinets were spotless and shining, but what struck me most was how well the carpets were shampooed. After a year of living, there were black stains on the carpet and it had lost its beige color. After their shampoo service, my carpets looked brand new. I was very pleased and I am sure my landlord will be as well. read more

Let me first start off with this statement, " I am 38 weeks pregnant, expecting the baby any day now, and for the past two days have entered quite drastically into typical Nesting syndrome of wanting everything annoyingly clean." Due to my advancement in the pregnancy however, I am not able to due the heavy lifting of cleaning, or the deep cleaning that our apartment had greatly needed. Prior to Dusty's, I had hired your typical word by mouth maids that required you to provide them with supplies and for the most part came at a bargain price. However, their services always left me with dissatisfaction and the thought that their cleaning was at most surface level but did not even come close to the deep clean that my apartment desperately needed. I called Dusty's, not knowing what to expect, and immediately was provided with great customer service from Dusty himself. He let me know the cleaners brought their own products and vacuum (score for me! dont have to spend money on cleaning products and have more time to look for a vacuum) and the price for the cleaning services; ( for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with wood floors, would be somewhere near the ballpark of 200. I decided to give it a try because if they deep cleaned our apartment successfully, it would be worth the 200 bucks versus spending 100 or less on cleaning that is simply half-ass. The day of my appointment, Dusty was great about communicating when the cleaners would come. The cleaners, I forgot their names (pregnancy brain attributed to this), a woman (from Washington) and a young man (either a teenage or early twenties) were friendly and immediately got down to business. They listened to my neurotic cleaning directions and they did everything I asked for and even more. I am as pleased as punch. I can not stop wandering around the apartment and looking at how clean everything is. And they gave me such great service in such horrid hot weather. Thanks to these two amazing people (who had to put up with my nesting requirements) and in association Dusty, I feel like a giant load of stress has been taken off of me and I can now move on to the many other tasks on my before-baby-comes-to do list. If you want deep cleaning that is simply thorough, call Dustys'! Thank you so much Dusty's Cleaning Services! read more

I took a chance on Dusty's based on the great Yelp reviews and was incredibly impressed with the results. Dustin responded to my submission on his website within a few hours and despite the short notice he was able to arrange cleaning services for the following day. The handoff was smooth - left keys under the mat for Jackie on my way out the door in the morning and got a call from Dustin later in the day letting me know everything was wrapped up. Payment was easy via Venmo. I wasn't sure what to expect when I got home but holy hell Jackie did an amazing job. Everything was spotless, the wood floors were glowing and she even slightly feng shui'd the living room furniture in a way that we actually liked better. Basically, our place hadn't been that clean since probably EVAR. Jackie's work was outstanding and the process was super easy. Than you Dustin and thank you Yelp for coming through once again! read more

When looking for a good cleaning service there are a number of things a homeowner wants to know: 1. Is the price fair? 2. What separates a good cleaning service from a great one and lastly 3. Can I trust this person? Here are my answers: 1. Dusty's Cleaning Service is one of the best values I have found in San Diego. I've lived up and down the coast in different cities and for what you get the price makes you feel like you're getting a deal. 2. What separates a great company from a good company is the quality of the job done. I would have never known how clean my house can get if it wasn't for them. Details count and they know it. And 3. When you meet Dusty you instantly know you can trust him that he will do the job right. It's the peace of mind that is invaluable. Bottom line, great company, great price and great service. A clean home is a happy home. read more

Dusty's cleaning services is AMAZING! I called Dusty last minute and lucky for me they had availability. No words can explain how cleaned my house smelled when I walked in the door from a long days work. Everything looked amazing! I will be using Dusty's cleaning service again. read more

I decided to try Dusty's because they got a five-star rating on Yelp. I told the guy who answered the phone that this was a massive deep-clean project as the tenants left years of filth and debris everywhere, so it was going to be close to an all-day job. On the positive side, he could send out a crew in just two days. However, their arrival window was from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. I was a bit skeptical, but I'm not in the business of cleaning to really know how much time is needed. They arrived a tad late (at 2:08 p.m.) and worked their butts off till 6:08 p.m. But there were a few problems. First, four hours simply weren't enough to finish cleaning. Second, they arrived with a carpet vacuum cleaner. All the floors are either wood or linoleum. As the saying goes, they brought a knife to a gun fight. Third, they had no shop vacuum. How can you do any sort of thorough job without a shop vac? There were crevices, where the floor meets the wall, that couldn't be cleaned, and cobwebs on the drapery rods that were missed. Fourth, they had no ladder of any sort, only a small step stool that maybe was 9 inches high. How did they expect to clean the ceiling fan blades and light bulb covers? Fifth, their native language was Spanish, and their English was not really all that good. Oh heck, why try to sugarcoat it? -- it was downright bad. This created built-in communication problems. I told the one gal to NOT clean the cupboards under the kitchen counter because I'm tearing out and replacing the whole system, sink and all. I don't know how long she was into cleaning it before I happened to walk around the corner and catch her in full blown scouring mode on those cupboards. Fortunately for the project, I did have a two-step step stool which allowed them an extra 20 inches or so to access the high shelves in the bedroom and kitchen. They also needed it for cleaning the ceiling fans in the living room and bedrooms. However, they used rags to dust and clean the ceiling fan components. After they left, I went back over their job with a shop vac brush attachment to get them really dust-free. They did clean the wood floors fairly well with some sort of sopping wet swifter. I was a little apprehensive of warping giving the wetness of their approach, but it air dried with no apparent ill effects. Unfortunately, the tenants had left gooey or otherwise scrub-resistent crud on the wood floors which water -- or whatever was in the swifter mop head -- was totally ineffectual in removing. I'll have to go back with 409, or something stronger if necessary, to remove those stains. I think they should have done so but suspect they weren't prepared for that kind of cleaning. The bathroom was really disgusting, but the one lady pretty much brought it back from the brink of hell. I was impressed with what she accomplished. The tenants must have decided against a shower curtain because I now have wood rot by the tub that a contractor will have to fix. The gal doing the kitchen did a decent job with the linoleum floor and a so-so job on the exterior of the refrigerator, getting the broad areas really clean, but no so much with the crud where fittings met the sheet metal. She did, however, do an OUTSTANDING job on the interior of the refrigerator. It was so dirty, I had contemplated having to replace it. But she made it look almost new. (Fortunately, she didn't have to clean the stove. It was so gunked up and corroded, I had already junked it.) She also deserves massive kudos for the getting the grease off the kitchen walls. Before she hit the job, if you put your hand on the wall, pulling it off would feel like you were wearing a Velcro glove. You would then need turpentine or acetone to clean your hand. Bottom line, the message that drastically SEVERE DEEP cleaning needed to be done was not effectively communicated to the two-woman crew. They worked VERY hard and did the best they could given the tools they had, though I wish they had brought their own ladder, shop vac, and more caustic cleaning chemicals. When they departed, they mentioned mine was the third job they had that day. I don't know where they got their stamina. Would I use Dusty's again? (a) Yes, if it's just routine necessary cleaning. I was really impressed with the thoroughness and "elbow grease" that those two women brought to the job. (b) But maybe not if the place ever gets so filthy again as it was, because apparently no one expects that level of crud. Some years ago I had a similar situation and hired Merry Maids who sent out three women. The two from Dusty's did a way better job than the three from Merry Maids. read more

I had my first experience with Dusty's yesterday and I am happy to report back terrific results! Darlene from Dusty's cleaned our VERY dirty, dusty, grimy condo yesterday and WOW what a fantastic job she did! Not only was she super sweet, but she absolutely went above and beyond my greatest expectations! I left her with a condo full of cat fur and many months worth of dust (it's a rental) and came back 5.5 hours later to a pristine, completely clean--all cupboards, microwave (which was REALLY dirty), floors, bathroom--everything was immaculate! Will I use Dusty's again? YES!!! Thank you Darlene for a wonderful job ;) PS The owner, Dustin, was very nice and helpful in scheduling and orchestrating our cleaning and was very easy to reach. Really love when I find a company like this that puts the customer first! read more

First I have to say the two girls that came arrived on time which was great! They came prepared with all of their own supplies and we're ready to immediately get to work. I'm 12 weeks pregnant so all smells make me sick so I showed them what I needed done and went off to work. In total it took about 4 hours for the whole house to be completed, my house was IMMACULATE everything was spotless! I only gave 4 stars because I found them to be a little expensive...it came out to be 206.00 all together but I am just so grateful for their help! read more

I had a great experience with Dustin and his team. We moved out of our condo in PB and needed to get it rent ready. I called Dustin and he was accommodating with my multiple date changes. His team arrived on time and got straight to work. I came to meet Pablo and Adeline to point out key areas that needed to be addressed. They were professional, friendly and attentive. I'm very happy with how clean everything is, especially the inside of our kitchen and laundry appliances. There was also a a sticky residue left behind on our laminate floor by one of our indoor plants and it always bothered me. Pablo took care of it and made it disappear! Tip : If you want hard to reach areas cleaned like ceiling fan blades, leave a step stool or ladder for the cleaning team. Thank you Dustin for such a great experience. We really appreciate it! read more

I had a great experience with Dustin and his team. We moved out of our offices at work and needed to get them move out clean. I worked with Dustin to set it up and his team arrived on time and got straight to work. They were professional, friendly and attentive. I'm very happy with how clean everything is. There was also a fairly large sticky residue left behind on our kitchen floor from some slow leaking cleaner and the team took care of it and made it disappear which I was concerned about. The only challenge was when it came to cleaning the blinds, it was very time consuming for them, and probably for anyone, so I suggest doing this part yourself to save the money. Thank you Dustin for such a great experience. We really appreciate it! read more

I have never been happier. My house is spotless. If you are stressing out about your place needing a clean, call Dusty's! Dusty is very friendly and professional. I tried other companies and left messages, with no return call days later. When I called Dusty's, my call was answered by Dusty. We were able to schedule an appointment to fit my needs. He was very approachable and helpful. It makes a huge difference. I cannot express how amazing my home looks. Dusty even wiped out my trash bins in my bathrooms! I always say that I'm going to get around to it, but never do. There is nothing more amazing than clean ceiling fans. I'm short so they are hard for me to reach. Just a few words to describe Dusty... An honest business owner. From on time, to professional, to a job well done for a great price, call me a customer for life! I have used a few different services in the area, but have never been 100% satisfied with the overall service. I always find something that bugs me. But with Dusty's, they are super easy going and never have an issue catering to something new or different on a weekly basis. Ok so maybe that wasn't just a few words...
