I am told the house and grounds including shop will be sold. I have been a customer for 30 plus years. Chain saws, multiple boat motors, log splitter. I could not find better service in Maine. I was in his shop at least 4 times a year, often more. Will sorely miss him and hope he recovers to enjoy some retirement. Possible son Rusty will set up shop somewhere. He is also an excellent mechanic. But Sonny was exceptional and unique.

Two weeks later and I hadn't heard back from him so I texted for an update with no response. Again the following week I texted for an update and again no response. On 10/2/24 I again texted and said that I would give him until 5 pm today 10/4/24 to get back to me or I would be giving him an unfavorable review. I even called at 4:35pm and could only leave a voicemail. And still no response. Should you contact him good luck.

As I was an out of towner and desperate to have the repair to be able to drive all the way home, I was worried that this visit (especially a mobile visit) was going to cost a small fortune. His price was completely reasonable and a pleasant surprise! I drove over 10 hours home with NO ISSUES.
