I've been bringing a boat on vacation to Sebago Lake for about 18 years. I've never needed a mechanic here before. I had an electrical issue that I didn't have the tools to trouble shoot. I called Maine-Ly Marine Services and had a mechanic at the camp in 3 hours. Tim was knowledgable, resourceful and quick to make the diagnosis and a repair so we could get back out on the lake. Overpromise and underdeliver! They had guaranteed my boat would be done in two weeks. I checked in after a week and was told not to worry, everything is good. They called me after having it for two weeks that they didn't even have the right diagnostic equipment and would have to send it somewhere else to even find out what's wrong. The only thing they should guarantee is that they'll charge your credit card to waste your time!! read more

We purchased a 2015 Four Winns boat from them in September of 15'. Great people to work with! They brought us right down to Sebago lake to test the boat we were planning to purchase. They went through the entire boat with us and explained everything. They then included our first year winter storage with the purchase! Would definitely go back there for our next boat! read more

Unfortunately Mainely Marine was a horrible first time experience. I brought my Bayliner to their shop hoping that they could help solve my rough idle problem. Instead, I had to call them after two weeks just to hear that they finally completed the engine evaluation. I was charged for an hour labor and a shop supplies fee. They told me my carb needed to be cleaned and that would take another week. Instead of continuing down this path I decided to do it myself because their one technician was clearly too busy to worry about a carb job. The next day I opened up my boat to find the key in the ignition and my battery dead. I am very disappointed in my experience with Mainely Marine. Goodluck read more

dropped my boat off to because the oil light was on. this was Monday, michelle at the service desk said that they would get it in on Friday or the following Monday. the following Thursday I call and asked about my boat. The man that answered said let me find out ill call you back but if I don't call me... why do I need to call him back im calling because it was 3 days past when they were supposed to call me. He never called. so Friday I called and spoke to michelle. I explained that that she said they would call me Monday at the latest. She basically called me a liar and said that she never said that. I explained that I didn't care that they hadn't gotten to it but she should of called to let me know. She said that they are busy and that my boat was scheduled for that day. she said she would call me when they look at it. Saturday I got a voice mail from her saying that the tech started to look at it but got a service call and had to leave. wtf. he had a service call "my boat" right in front of him. Apparently you have to be an out of stater up for the weekend to be important enough to get help. I literally live across the street. then I got a call on Tuesday from michelle saying we don't have the equipment to fix your boat and to come pick it up. seriously!!!!! couldn't they have noticed what type of engine I have when I dropped it off. she asked me what it was when I dropped it off and paid $89.00 fee for them to diagnose. Im glad that the other reviewer had a good experience but mine was horrible. Ill never do business with them again. read more
