My husband appreciates the art of roasting & brewing coffee, so I wanted to find a cupping or tasting at offered at a local shop during our stay. After doing some research, I learned that Counter Culture offers a free tasting every Friday morning at 10 am at their training center in Dallas. We normally buy their beans at HEB, so I was eager to learn more about the company. The training center itself is modern and cozy, with plenty of natural light to illuminate the glinting espresso machines lined up around the room. The team was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and helped us detect the tasting notes in the blend they offered that morning. The experience was warm and interesting! Staff is truthful and honest. For instance, someone dropped their drink and they remade it with no problem whatsoever. It's hard to find a coffee place like that. Some of the food items can appear high in price but other than that, they were good.
