It's nothing new as a mom at a park but it would be nice to see that added someday.

It's not a terribly large park or the kind of place where you spend an afternoon or a whole day with it utilizing the parks features so it isn't exactly a place that would attract people from out of town or many tourists( Like Point Defiance for example). There is a modern and fresh looking playground for kids to play on and a nice strip of land to play with your dog or an informal type of ball play which was nice to see.

During the spring, you can witness the beautiful blooms of the flowers in the field. I've seen other Yelper's beautiful pictures. I missed this last spring due to my frequent travels out of state. I hope to capture it this spring. The park is well kept. A children's playground was recently completed last year 2025 I believe around October/November. Pet friendly. I bring my grandpups Havanna and Kuba here to enjoy as well. Potty bags and trash receptacles also available. Porta potty on site. There are benches throughout the park. A swinging bench located at mid section the loop which faces Mt Rainier. It's a perfect spot to enjoy the entire view of the park and Mt Rainier.

I wanted to wait until the hype died down a little bit - it still does have plenty of hype, but not too much at dusk in January. We took advantage of the rather warm, dry January day this week and headed to check out the playground after my kids were out of school. It's conveniently located right next to Farm 12, so there's plenty of parking in front of the park and next to the park. The playground is so much bigger than I expected! Huge! There are multiple play structures for a wide span of ages. My kids had a BLAST here. Even my toddler was able to get around pretty easily on the bigger structure (always anxiety inducing for me). My older two also really loved the rock climbing structures too. This park is about a 20 minute drive for us but it's entirely worth it. I see lots of trips here this summer happening!

This is a great park for the summer. It's CRAZY shaded so you don't have to worry about the slides getting hot (which is crazy because they're metal). There are two play structures - one being suited to toddlers and one to older kids. The highlight of the park is obviously the creek. It was a warm day and I dressed my kids accordingly because I knew they'd play in the water! Annnnnnddd they did. I'm glad that they did because it's a great element to the park. I don't think this'll be a fall season park choice, but for warmer days, it is THE spot. Worth the visit! There's also trails surrounding the park if you're looking for a little oasis tucked into the city.

Wildwood is a nice park hidden among the trees. They have some playground equipment for the kiddos…read moreand a fitness trail for the adults. Several of the pieces of equipment on the fitness trail are kaput, but it's still a nice place to walk through. Lots of picnic shelters that can be reserved, though some are kinda really in disrepair. The log cabin style one looks rustically nice, but there are a lot of holes in the roof. There's also a creek with easy access so you can dip your feet in on the hot days. Definitely awesome when our giant sky oppressor is in full force since you can hide under the trees, but a good option regardless of weather.

The Riverwalk Trail is at a crossroads for a another trail and close to the lengthy Foothills Trail…read more(which I have yet to explore) near Sumner. This trail eventually takes you to downtown Puyallup in which you have the option of joining up with the Puyallup Trail and then head west of town with ease. A fairly scenic trail you stroll by the Puyallup River and go around bends and curves while the river is by your side with birds and perhaps deer to see. I went through here in the late Autumn on my E Scooter and thought that if I went through earlier the Autumn colors would be more vivid (obviously). So definitely a trail worth looking at during that season but probably very pleasant in Spring (As long as the Spring runoff doesn't overflow the river onto the trail) and summer.

The park area is pretty and inviting. I have never had any issues getting in or out of the lake. It's also nice to have a restaurant that you can pull up to in a boat to tie up for a quick bite or a drink (Al Lago). The scenery is hard to beat when Mount Rainier is out in her full glory.

I knew that I did check in on Yelp, however, it never registered as the address is listed with the country- Mexico. Whaaat??!! I attempted to submit an address correction/update, there was an issue with the address. Yelp flagged an address issue with the correct address?? I believe it's a system issue. Anyhoo back to the review. Took my first visit with Havanna (grandfur doggie) here on 6/15/25. This is a really nice park. There's a playground and swings for children. There's wetlands preservation in the center of the park area that is fenced off. There's an array of plants, trees and beautiful flowers that were in full bloom. I had to take pictures of a lot of them as I was enjoyed my walk and so did Havanna. I see why this park was so expensive. They really did an awesome job. There's a some benches around. The trails are not all paved , some are dirt trails. Public restrooms are available. Ample parking space. Poop bags available. Lots of room and space for kids and pets to run around. No off leash for pets. The lawn is manicured and the park is well maintained. I didn't go through one of the trails as it was getting too hot for me. LOL! I'll have to return again another time. This park was such a pleasure to walk.

The correct address is: 36th St E & Meridian Ave E, Edgewood, WA 98372. This park is suuuper close to my house and I've seen it popping in and out of the news - I guess the renovation of the entire park itself (not just the playground, obviously) clocked in at a whopping four million dollars - AND the new playground is all farm-themed, so I haaad to go. This park will absolutely be a staple for me and my kids this summer. There's a good amount of paved walking trail around the park, all railed off nicely by wooden posts. The bathrooms are completely new and clean. There is covered table space, and grills located throughout the park as well. The parking lot is huge and easy to navigate. It's just REALLY NICE. The farm-themed playground is obviously the huge draw. It's so dang cute. There's a smaller play structure on one side of the park that's designed as a little treehouse, and then the main playground is a big barn. There's multiple levels inside for kids to climb, multiple slides, and super cute touches all around (bales of fake hay to climb, "farm fresh eggs" signs, etc). To my son's delight, there's a good amount of swings here. There's two baby swings, a couple regular swings, and cool round swing large enough for kids to lay on, and then a two-person teeter totter style swing which I'm assuming is meant for a parent + child. I feel so fortunate to have this park located only a 12 minute drive away. We'll definitely be here for picnics + play a ton in the coming months!

Geese were laying in the field, the lake was quiet, kids and their parents were playing in the playground, and people were sitting out in the pergola with picnic benches, enjoying the last days of summer. We walked the loop and the dogs go to sniff and pee to their hearts' content. The only reason why they lost a star ws because of the large amount of goose poop and the kids screaming in the playground kinda got to me, which is not the park's fault, but it's also part of my experience, so know that if you want to visit.
