The park itself is spacious and very well-maintained. There's the big playground, a splash pad (already turned on for the summer!), and the pavillion. If you've never gone to the market here (Saturdays 9am-2pm) you need to go. It's huge and Pioneer Park is the prettiest setting for it! My kids definitely love the playground but it does scare me. The structure here is SO HIGH. My toddler is a daredevil and loves to go to the top which terrifies me. They do have a smaller structure meant for toddlers that is great, but just note that if you have a child that is similar to mine, you might need to prepare for major anxiety. There is a good deal of parking nearby next to the library, but usually I get lucky with street parking not too far, too. I love the location of this park because it's so close to several coffee shops, an ice cream spot, and a few other delicious restaurants. Overall a great park to visit especially going into the summer.

Several of the pieces of equipment on the fitness trail are kaput, but it's still a nice place to walk through. Lots of picnic shelters that can be reserved, though some are kinda really in disrepair. The log cabin style one looks rustically nice, but there are a lot of holes in the roof. There's also a creek with easy access so you can dip your feet in on the hot days. Definitely awesome when our giant sky oppressor is in full force since you can hide under the trees, but a good option regardless of weather.

This is a great park for the summer. It's CRAZY shaded so you don't have to worry about the slides getting hot (which is crazy because they're metal). There are two play structures - one being suited to toddlers and one to older kids. The highlight of the park is obviously the creek. It was a warm day and I dressed my kids accordingly because I knew they'd play in the water! Annnnnnddd they did. I'm glad that they did because it's a great element to the park. I don't think this'll be a fall season park choice, but for warmer days, it is THE spot. Worth the visit! There's also trails surrounding the park if you're looking for a little oasis tucked into the city.

The big hit here is the zip line…read more I like the large space of the park giving the kids freedom to run around as well as play on the slides and swings etc. I do wish there were some small fences to keep the kids a little more secure from the streets and quick drive away access which freaks me out as a mom when you're watching multiple kids with different interests in several locations. It's nothing new as a mom at a park but it would be nice to see that added someday.

It's not a terribly large park or the kind of place where you spend an afternoon or a whole day with it utilizing the parks features so it isn't exactly a place that would attract people from out of town or many tourists( Like Point Defiance for example). There is a modern and fresh looking playground for kids to play on and a nice strip of land to play with your dog or an informal type of ball play which was nice to see.

A great place for all things photography, simply take a relaxing peaceful walk on the paved trail painted with yellow flowers (so cute) to enjoy the scenic view of Mt Rainier. During the spring, you can witness the beautiful blooms of the flowers in the field. I've seen other Yelper's beautiful pictures. I missed this last spring due to my frequent travels out of state. I hope to capture it this spring. The park is well kept. A children's playground was recently completed last year 2025 I believe around October/November. Pet friendly. I bring my grandpups Havanna and Kuba here to enjoy as well. Potty bags and trash receptacles also available. Porta potty on site. There are benches throughout the park. A swinging bench located at mid section the loop which faces Mt Rainier. It's a perfect spot to enjoy the entire view of the park and Mt Rainier.

I wanted to wait until the hype died down a little bit - it still does have plenty of hype, but not too much at dusk in January. We took advantage of the rather warm, dry January day this week and headed to check out the playground after my kids were out of school. It's conveniently located right next to Farm 12, so there's plenty of parking in front of the park and next to the park. The playground is so much bigger than I expected! Huge! There are multiple play structures for a wide span of ages. My kids had a BLAST here. Even my toddler was able to get around pretty easily on the bigger structure (always anxiety inducing for me). My older two also really loved the rock climbing structures too. This park is about a 20 minute drive for us but it's entirely worth it. I see lots of trips here this summer happening!

Grayland Park is somewhat close to where we have lived, so we've passed it quite a few times over…read morethe last (almost) 4 years. We decided to give it a visit this past weekend for a quick park moment for the kids. Parking lot is located on the side of the road by all of the car dealerships. It's HUGE and I've literally never seen more than a few cars parked there so you won't have an issue getting a spot. The park itself has several structures for kids of all ages. The smaller one meant for toddlers is designed well and has a couple of slides that got a little boring for my daredevil of an (almost) two year old. My older kids enjoyed the bigger structure with the more daunting slide. There's a set of swings for babies on one part of the park, and on the other side there's 4 for older kids. One of the swings was broken, with the chains from the swing being detached so the seat was just dangling down, so not sure how often this park is maintained. They do have nice new picnic tables that would be great for snacking at the park. There is also a huuuge grassy lawn area perfect for frisbee or just letting your kids run buck wild. There are bathrooms here and they weren't disgusting, but they are the kind that are completely all steel so everything is FREEZING. Overall this park isn't bad for a one time visit, but I wouldn't be finding myself to go out of my way to come back.

The thing that makes the difference is that it has swings. 2 swings for babies & 4 for older kids that can swing on their own. It also has picnic tables & benches to sit on. A large field to play on & public restrooms. The only reason we don't come to this one as often is because we've ran into the issue of lots people smoking, which around kids doesn't seem appropriate. I understand we are outside but it's a playground. If we stop by here, we make sure it's not very busy before actually committing to stay. This park usually isn't as crowded as the other one by the library.

Hidden gem of a playground!…read more I've lived just a couple miles from here for years and never knew this place existed until I accidently stumbled on it this week. It's a beautiful and spacious park (5 acres total) with: -2 LARGE open grass spaces -A small, circlular walking path (away from the playground mostly) -2 baseball diamonds (1 with a cage & small bleachers, 1 just inside the grass, almost hidden) -Several benches and picnic tables, some of them under shelter -A nice playground The playground: -Very good size (not giant, but not tiny) -Looks-like-new equipment -Lots of different climbing structures -Several slides -A separate area for swings (2 standard, 2 bucket/toddler swings) -Bark flooring No parking lot but street parking on all sides. This is in a very low traffic area (speed limit 25) and the park itself seems not to ever be very crowded so parking should not be an issue. Named in dedication of Sam Peach, former Puyallup School District teacher, Superintendent and city Mayor (1980's). Definitely will be back!

The Riverwalk Trail is at a crossroads for a another trail and close to the lengthy Foothills Trail…read more(which I have yet to explore) near Sumner. This trail eventually takes you to downtown Puyallup in which you have the option of joining up with the Puyallup Trail and then head west of town with ease. A fairly scenic trail you stroll by the Puyallup River and go around bends and curves while the river is by your side with birds and perhaps deer to see. I went through here in the late Autumn on my E Scooter and thought that if I went through earlier the Autumn colors would be more vivid (obviously). So definitely a trail worth looking at during that season but probably very pleasant in Spring (As long as the Spring runoff doesn't overflow the river onto the trail) and summer.
