Rebecca and her team are so amazing. I really can't believe how comfortable I felt immediately entering their shop. The experience was so intimate and special. I came by myself at first, not knowing what to expect. I had never thought about a wedding dress on me before so I didn't know what would work. To my surprise the silhouette that looked best on me was something I would have NEVER picked myself, but glad they picked it out for me and what would work best on my body. I left feeling so confident in myself and all my friends LOVED the dress I picked. I spent the next two weeks doing my due diligence trying to see what else was out there. NOTHING compared to this establishment. I felt so underwhelmed and unconfident in other stores dressing rooms (the lighting at Rebecca's is AMAZING!!). There's just something about Rebecca and her team that makes you feel like a movie star when you try on any dress. I'm telling you. When I came back with my mom to look at the dress again we began to think about different ways to try and make it special for me - changing the neckline and adding sequin. I'm ultimately getting my own custom gown for SUCH a reasonable rate. I found this place on a whim while completing other errands in the area. I stopped in to find a bridesmaid gown for my best friend's wedding. All I had for stipulations were a color and a designer. As soon as I stepped in; I was greeted by a young woman who was friendly, eager and willing to bend over backwards (and did!) to assist me in finding the perfect gown. With just the little information I offered, she rushed upstairs and pulled a dozen different gowns she thought would look best. Great taste! I selected a handful of them from her selections to try on. She was right there to offer assistance putting on/taking off each and every gown to ensure that I felt comfortable and "fit" into each one. Her and her uncle (who owns the place) gave me unbelievable one-on-one attention and were honest and complimentary without being pushy in any way. I was able to let my guard down, enjoy my experience and weigh all of my options with no pressure! I never see this in a bridal salon. I have always felt like they're pressing a sale! I was even split between two gowns and the girl and the owner suggested I take photos, show them to the bride, go home and sleep on it and call them back when I was ready to order. She took my photo (front and back in both dresses for me!) I'm not living in the area, but they measured me and took my information just in case I called back, so that they could order as soon as I was ready to go! They told me I wouldn't have to make the trip back down. I am calling on Monday to order my dress (now that the bride and my fiancé favored the same one of the two final gown contenders as me!) and I am so excited to be giving my business to a deserving and wonderful family! My mother, daughter & I purchased 3 dresses about $1,335 for my mother's gown, $327 for my daughter's dress and $534 for mine. We spent about $2,200 in cash. Before visiting I called 3 separate times to confirm they carried Bari Jay dresses in the exact style, color & Stretch Lux fabric I needed. Each time I was assured they did. On 5/14/26 I visited the store & again confirmed the fabric, we were measured & placed all 3 orders. After waiting about 4 months we returned on 9/17/26 to try on the dresses. My sister immediately noticed my dress didnt match my daughter's. Her dress was darker, mine had satin appearance. Maria said they were made from different materials. I reminded her I had specifically requested Stretch Lux only to be told my daughter's dress was only available in Stretch Crepe. I was extremely upset & left in tears. Maria told me bc the dress was a "special order" all sales were final & nothing could be done. To make matters worse, the wedding was 10/10/26, leaving me with very limited time. When I called back, I was told they had a "sample" dress in the correct Bari Jay fabric & color & I would have to pay for both dresses plus alterations. I asked if my deposit could go toward the new dress since they made a mistake. Maria refused again citing the special-order policy & insisted it was not her fault. She said she thought the original dress was what I wanted bc she was a jr bridesmaid & I had provided a style number. She emphasized shes been doing this for 40 years. Experience should mean customers can trust ur guidance, especially when relying on u to get the details right for such an important occasion. On 10/1, just 9 days before the wedding, when we returned for my daughter's alterations & my dress fitting. My dress still needed alterations. I did not feel welcomed. I felt brushed aside. Another appointment with 3 loud people was taking place in the small showroom& despite having our own appointment we received little attention. I was not even helped out of my gown & had to ask my 12yr old daughter to unzip. I tried speaking with Maria again about why my deposit could not be applied toward the new dress. She immediately dismissed me & said she could not speak with me bc she had customers & a bride waiting. I understand, but I am also a customer with an appointment who is spent a significant amount of money at her store. She continued repeating that all sales were final & I had signed the receipt, without addressing my concerns. I understand bridal stores have policies regarding special orders & final sales. However, I was not trying to return a dress because I changed my mind. I simply wanted them to help make things right. What makes this even more frustrating is other bridesmaids purchased the same dress from another bridal store in Stretch Lux. When I told Maria, she said she would contact her distributor but supposedly never received a response. She later said the dress did not come in that fabric, despite the other bridesmaids receiving the same style number in the stretch lux fabric. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service & Maria's attitude. This is simply not how you treat customers. Maria's refusal to acknowledge or take any responsibility for a mistake that SHE made when ordering the dress is disappointing. Mistakes happen, but accountability, professionalism & basic courtesy matter. Between the incorrect order, refusal to discuss a reasonable resolution & lack of attention during our appointment. Weddings are stressful enough without having to fight to get what u ordered. I went to Amelia's Bridal because I trusted its reputation & expertise. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion of the store, I would not recommend this store. I expected so much better & am extremely disappointed in how the entire situation was handled.

We decided a custom style, pulling inspiration from a few gowns, was best for my unique vision. She was so talented and quickly sketched up a sample for me and took measurements. Contract signed and payment up front, all I had to do was wait for their skilled seamstresses to do their magic. Turmoil in Eastern Europe delayed the arrival of my dress since it was caught up in customs with significant shipping delays through Feb/March. Natalia proactively communicated updates to me and moved mountains to get my dress to NY on time, with a backup dress tailored for me and ready to go just in case. 7 days before the wedding, we were thrilled that my original dress arrived and Natalia personally hand sewed a few final adjustments for me while I was in the shop, making sure I had peace of mind and left with my beautiful dress in hand. Friends and family commented all weekend that my dress was like a fairytale, that I looked like a princess, and that it was incredibly special. Nothing off the shelf would have made such an impression, and I'm so grateful that Natalia and her team were able to make our wedding so magical. My mom, grandma, mother-in-law, and 2 bridemaids came with me to help find my dress and I'm happy to share that I said "Yes to the Dress". The overall experience was seamless from making my appointment on the phone with Virginia to the receiving a follow-up call and email to ensure that everything was ready for me ahead of my appointment from my Bridal Consultant Lou Lou, who is AMAZING! I was welcomed immediately and made to feel appreciated and taken care from the moment I entered the door. I live a few blocks away from the bridal shop and always walk by it on my way to City Centre so when I got engaged this summer, I obviously wanted to ensure that I had an appointment set up here, especially knowing that I always had seen beautiful dresses on display on their window. I also liked what I had seen on their website. I was treated like a princess and felt like one when trying on my dresses. There is a wide assortment of dresses and designers across price ranges as this place was a lot bigger than I thought once inside. From the start I had a Calla Blanche dress in mind and low and behold, the first dress I tried on and chose was a Calla Blanche, although different than the one I had seen online. I maybe tried on 8 dresses or so and Lou Lou helped me narrow down my options via process of elimination. I explained to her the style I was looking for, budget, and she made sure we had a great assortment of dresses to try on and have fun with. By the time it came to choosing my dress, I may have tried it on 3 times and loved it more each time. (Even got a bit emotional so I knew it was the one). Funny enough it wasn't even the style I thought I had in mind, which is why you must try these on! My family and friends were made to feel very comfortable and welcomed also which I appreciated. The space is comfortable and clean inside. There was one other bride also trying on dresses at the same time but she was on the other side of me and did not interfere with my experience so no concerns there. I had a lot of fun. I had a nice dressing room and Lou Lou there to help with each dress and the clips + got to see my dress at all stages of the day with the mirror that changes lighting. It was pretty neat. Lou Lou was the ultimate hype woman and got my family & friends engaged in the process too - she announced me each time, had the music going, it was fun. I had a feeling I would find my dress here and am happy to say that I did. The only thing that stings a bit is that I went wayyyyy over budget with the dress and the "looks". The dress itself was within budget but I was upsold on an additional piece that really did make the dress and look extra "WOW" but I maybe could have done without. I can also blame my family and friends for their reactions, they loved it. So I'm not too upset about it and am excited to walk down the aisle in it and hope my fiancé also goes "WOW" :). I can't wait to try on my dress in a few months. For those brides purchasing kindly note the sale price is final so be 100% sure and alteration price is not included. She took all of my "must haves" or "don't wants" very seriously, and then offered additional options and feedback and encouraged me to try on dresses I might otherwise have overlooked but LOVED. My dress had arrived late (I ordered from a different place) - 6 weeks before my wedding but Susan was able to fit me in her schedule and get started on alterations right away. My dress was strapless but I felt the need to have my shoulders covered in church and she was able to add sleeves made from tulle that were removable! These straps made my dress feel complete, and I was so happy to have something unique about my dress. My bustle was GORGEOUS she had included I believe 7 bustle buttons - and my very layered Cinderella-like dress stayed up in the bustle the ENTIRE night! (Ever been to a wedding where the bride holds her dress because the bustle fell?) My mother's dress arrived 3 weeks before the wedding (again, from a different shop) and Susan made sure she was able to fit my mom in as well. Turned out that the dress the other shop had ordered was way too small for my mom - and 5 days before the wedding my mom decided to can it. Mom couldn't even sit in the dress!! Luckily - Susan had a dress available in her shop that fit my mother perfectly!! She was able to make some small adjustments that night and 3 days before my wedding my mother FINALLY had a dress! I honestly do not know what we would have done if we hadn't gone to Susan for alterations. She is clearly knowledgeable about gown alterations - and creative! She was able to quickly find a solution to a huge problem for us. I am so grateful for this and I have been back to her shop many times since. I've had 2 other dresses for other weddings altered since and Susan hasn't let me down! I also love her shop, it's very cute and unique and she has a lot of great wedding purses and jewelry to shop for!
