The boots I got are gorgeous and comes in so many colors. Some of my favorite brands live there like Gabor and Ara and there were others I never heard of like brands from Spain. I finally found a birkenstock that fit me that I have wanted for a long time. The woman who was also helping me was so sweet and patient. My friend bought a few pairs too. I wore the Gabor loafers today and they were comfy right out of the box. I will drive to Kennenunkport from Boston if I need anymore shoes. If i don't buy another pair of shoes I wouldn't need to. I stopped in, December 2023, with a project in mind. You see, I have a great belt. Leather with a sturdy brass buckle and brass grommets all around; instead of a few holes. Unfortunately, it was starting to tear and wearing it became difficult and less frequent. I decided that Limmer may be able to help. The small staff gathered around, looked at it. Felt the material, quality. And threw out some ideas. At the time, I was hesitant and told them I'd think about it. Fast forward to June 2026. I went back to Limmer, and spoke with a guy named James. Laid back, positive and very into his craft. I remarked to him that if I worked at this cave of creativity, I'd be a very happy person. He took the belt, came up with some ideas and said he'd try his best. James called me about a month later reassuring me that he didn't forget about me, or my belt. I got a follow up call Mid-August with the sad news that the belt was too far gone to bring it back 100% He put a couple of stitches in the leather, that would hold for a while. James actually sounded disappointed, that he couldn't do more to fix my belt. He mailed it back to me, free of charge and didn't charge me for the work, and more importantly, his time. In today's world, you really don't find that kind of genuine care, compassion, and all around good karma. Next time I'm in NH, I'll have to stop by and say hello. Maybe even buy some boots. They brainstormed together on how they could fix it and we ended up deciding against it because it would be a lot of man-hours put into hand making a new one. Whew! This is a family business that started in 1919 in Bavaria and has been open in NH since 1950. They specialize in hiking boots and they're known to have a 2-3 year waitlist for custom boots! They also have boots in stock you can purchase, if I were a local I'd definitely get a pair. Since we're up here twice a year we may just decide to!

We've dined at Barley and Salt and got coffee at The Met Coffee House. Definitely worth a stop if you enjoy shopping. They also have electric vehicle chargers and plenty of free parking.

We still explored the outlet a bit. There are parking lots all around the place, not too difficult to find parking. It's mostly clean. Security personnel were walking around to make sure the safety of shoppers. There's a beer garden (was closed) and some good restaurants to dine as well. Lots of directories available at entrance points. They had over 50 different stores, including some popular ones like Gap, Old Navy, Kate Spade, MK, Levi's, Adidas, Pandora, Skechers and Crocs. Most of them had discount offers and memorial day weekend sale going on, on top of reduced outlet price on items.
