Here is why this place is a must-visit: * The Vibe: It is the perfect balance of casual and relaxing. They had soft live music playing in the background that set a wonderful tone--not too loud, just enough to keep the energy light while we caught up. * The Food: We are still talking about the artichoke dip! It was the perfect starter, and the pizzas were delicious and hit the spot after a day of tasting. * The "Cuteness" Factor: One of the highlights was finding their adorable cow plushies. They are actually flown in from Scotland, and our group couldn't resist--they are the perfect souvenir to remember the trip! Whether you're a serious wine lover or just looking for a beautiful place to unwind with your best friends, this ranch has such a welcoming, "stay-a-while" atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

The inside is a cozy mix of local products from east Texas and a restaurant in the back half. Though seating was limited we quickly got seated for a group of 6. We looked for other things to do in the area and stumbled on a listing for Ridge Creek Ranch Wine bar. This is a brand new winery, just opened in early June 2026. There are some twists and turns to get there - lots of signage though, so don't turn back. The property itself is beautiful! If it hadn't been so hot, we would have spent the afternoon on the large covered patio. Inside, the space is great - big, open, lots of comfortable seating, either at the large bar or seated anywhere. We asked about tastings and their wine flight came out in these cute stands! (See photo) Their menu of wines has something for every palate. We loved almost everything we tried and stayed to enjoy extra glasses before taking bottles home. The owners, Lisa and Tony, were fun and happy to chat with us about how they got into the wine business, and their plans for the future. We wish them the best and will definitely visit again if we're in the area!

Their taproom is a moderate size, but their large patio and outdoor spaces allow for seemingly all of Tyler to have a seat at True Vine. I came on a Saturday evening and had a few pours with my girlfriend and a longtime friend. I had The Phoenix Lights Amber and a darker beer as well. Both were great, and the staff were all nice. The thing I remember most was that my friend and my girlfriend both had their Daddy's Shandy, which fuses their Daddy's Juice Box Double IPA with their house-made lemonade that is really excellent. I always enjoy hitting up True Vine when I'm in town because they always seem to have it on lock. RIYL: Brewskis or the largest outdoor space you've ever seen. Like multiple acres.

I got my usual flight of 4 beers which consisted of a DIPA, hazy IPA, Dunkel and Kristalweizen. All were solid with the DIPA being my favorite. For lunch I got a chef's salad. Yes, I was made fun of relentlessly by my fellow fat boys, but I needed something semi healthy before a 3-day weekend of debauchery. I was certainly jealous when I saw their burgers and wings come out. The place is large, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The tap list was also plentiful, and the food menu was perfect for a brewery. ETX was a solid start to our trip.

But I was thrilled to know that they reopened it for multi-purpose events. I first came during the soft opening during the Fiddlers' Reunion weekend & saw a live concert happening. I also came for the "Art On The Bricks" event. It's neat that they can move the stage, since for the soft opening the stage was on the right brick wall (with the audience portable fold-out chairs situated so that the left & right were further apart than the front & back), & for "Art On The Bricks" the stage was on the back wall (with the windows & view of the town square parking lot behind it). For the art show, there was more space to look at tables of displayed artwork, munch on finger foods (catered by Railway Cafe, next door), sip on drinks (wine, water, or tea), & you could mingle around or sit down (upstairs in the balcony or at some standing-friendly downstairs tables). The restrooms are also nice, & very well-maintained, with plenty of multiple stalls. The upstairs balcony is really neat. It's a great place to sit & eat at small tables (or move them together for bigger groups), or you can sit at a bar-like table overlooking the balcony if you have a smaller group. Overlooking the balcony was an incredible view! I'm staying posted on future events held here, because I definitely want to keep coming back!
