I decided to go with something from their "Modern Twist" menu: Honey Pork Belly over jasmine rice, with Crunchy kale salad - pork belly and jasmine rice is good (not saucy, but tender and tasty), salad is crispy, nice with sweet vinaigrette, blue cheese and walnuts. It is good plentiful on its own but didn't pair the best with pork belly. Service: very kind person helped me choose something off the modern twist menu for my first time here. read more

This is our go-to Thai place because everything in their menu is absolutely delicious, their service is so fast and and staff is always friendly. I always have a hard time deciding what to get because I love everything - from their rice meals to their curry and their noodles. My favorite is panang curry and pad thai. I love how spicy they make them but beware if you have low spice tolerance best to go mild or very mild. I love their tangy chicken, coconut fried chicken and honey pork belly because they're crisp to perfection and very flavorful. It comes with rice and choice of greens. Their salads are so good even if you're not used to eating greens. They're located inside the Anaheim Packing District which we love going to because of the ambience - relaxing during the day and buzzing at night. Six months later, and my rating has not changed. It's so close to being 5 stars for me, but I'm hoping my feedback will be considered so it'll be 5 stars next time I go! Picked up to go again last night and kind of let ourselves splurge for a mildly special occasion. Shrimp & chicken fried rice, turmeric chicken plate, papaya salad, and basil fried chicken. The turmeric chicken was more delicious than I expected. By itself it was tasty, but paired with the dipping sauce.. took it to a whole other level. Basil fried chicken was also a genius fusion dish that did not disappoint. So, SO delicious, I almost teared up. ^_^' Papaya salad was not great. There wasn't anything special about it.. maybe not enough time marinating in the sauce? And the sauce probably had a tad too much fish sauce in it. Don't think we would get this again. He said the fried rice was just okay, also nothing that special, but it's one of those staples that we'd probably rotate in and out on our future trips here. The biggest disappointment was how drenched the side salad was in the salad dressing. The salad leaves were literally wilted from the amount of sauce it was soaked in, and wasn't to our taste. The salad itself was GREAT (power greens with walnuts & blue cheese omg), but the sauce was too overpowering. Will probably ask for dressing on the side next time! But one last thing that is SO consistent is their service. I THINK it might be a family restaurant, because I can't think of another reason why every single worker was working that hard with such great customer service. I ordered the tangy orange chicken with a kale salad and steamed veggies and the chicken was not even edible. Hard as rocks and the sauce was like taffy candy stuck to the bottom of the plate. Gross. Great spot in the Anaheim Packing House! I have a soft spot for Thai food so had to give this place a try. Their menu has a variety of fusion and traditional Thai dishes to offer, such as puffy tofu, pork belly, and coconut milk fried chicken, which all looked amazing! We tried the Basil fried rice with chicken and the Crying Tiger Steak. The steak came with 2 sides of your choice, although the price was a little steep for $32. The fried rice was excellent, packed with flavor and perfect spice (I got level 4). Next time I will definitely want to try some of the other dishes off their menu. Tbh this place looks like it has a lot of potential but the service and the food was just a bit disappointing... I placed my order & stood there for 25 minutes to get it. And i only ordered 1 drunken noodle. that's it. Worst part was I saw people coming after me getting their food so I was like ? not sure what was stalling them from making my food. Food was made right there in front of you and I saw them actively not making my order :( All was well when I got my order but the taste of the drunken noodle... was so meh. Best eatery at the Anaheim Packing District! We tried the pad thai, egg rolls, and both a thai tea and green tea, and this place does not disappoint! The egg rolls were delicious and crunchy, the pad thai was the perfect portion size and spice level (here you can choose your spice level which is really nice!), and their teas were topped with a sweet cream that was absolutely delicious! The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful in explaining the menu as this was our first visit here too. I was drawn to this spot by the positive reviews, but I was a little disappointed by the honey pork belly with jasmine rice and arugula salad. Initially I thought it was going to be a bowl but it was just protein with sides of salad and rice. While the food did not taste bad, the honey pork belly didn't taste much like honey and was more of lightly seasoned pork belly with salt and pepper. The arugula salad with dressing, nuts, and Parmesan cheese was OK, but $24 for such a basic plate of food is not worth it at all. I could probably make the same quality of food at home if I wanted to. If I ever return, I might try one of the Classic dishes like pad Thai or drunken noodles (which I haven't tried yet), but definitely not anything from their Modern Twists menu (which I ordered from). read more

We are big time foodies so we ordered a couple of items from various locations to share and just get to try a lot of food. We ordered the pork belly dish with power greens and Thai Teas (went for seconds.) Pork belly was very flavorful, simply delicious. It was my first time having Thai Tea and it was so good, since I'm not too fond of sweet drinks they made ours with half the sweater which I believe was the perfect balance. Some of the best Thai Food I have tasted in Los Angeles and I have tasted a lot. I got Tom Ka soup spicy level 3 and creamy Thai Tea and omg it was freaking amazing. Disclaimer - this review is strictly about the service. I didn't even order or tried any food because the staff was so rude. They have a modern bowl option where you can select proteins, a green salad and a side. I inquired about possibly having tofu as a protein option, as they didn't have any vegetarian friendly option on the menu, but noticed they do sell tofu dishes as part of the broader menu. I asked whether I can do tofu as my proteins for the bowl, and was willing to pay the prices of what they charge for chicken/seafood. The guy was incredibly rude - told me just "no", "you can order just the fried tofu but no sides for you". He didn't even bother looking me in the eye, or maybe elaborating perhaps they have a no substitution policy which sometimes some establishments have. It just irked me so much, not to mention this was during Saturday lunch but they had zero customers waiting in line, so it's not even like he's too busy to overwhelmed and can't be bother. I would've accepted the outcome that I cannot get a custom order if the worker would've just been a little more polite. It's also stupid as clearly they have all the ingredients to make it. They wouldn't even give me the option to pay for all the items ala carte (like I would order the standalone tofu dish and pay for the side salad and side). Really bummed as I had my heart set from reviews to try this place but based on that service from the worker I will never go back again. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to find Thai Food at the Anaheim Packing District! This location is upstairs near the exit on the left side if you enter from the front door. I ordered the Tumeric Grilled chicken with Jasmine Richie and Spinach Lovers salad. The portion size was pretty good despite the $14 cost. It is debatable whether they could give but more but at least they give 10% off you order if you check in with Yelp. The Tumeric Grilled chicken was very well grilled and you could taste the right amount of char. It also comes with a flavorful peanut sauce that complements the Tumeric flavor. The rice was pretty fresh (I went shortly after they opened) and the salad was good as well. It could have had less dressing but I enjoyed the feta cheese. Parking at the Anaheim Packing District is always a but difficult but I appreciate that they have outdoor seating for guests to eat. White elephant is worth a try if you're here! read more

This Thai food place is a very unsuspecting counter service food vendor. Our favorite Thai food place is in Long Beach IYKYK. We ordered the Pad Se Ew with chicken no spice, it's nice they let you pick the spice level, we also got Honey Pork Belly and the wings. 100% everything was delicious, right down to the dressing on the salad. They have paid so much attention to each flavor of ingredient. The wings were amazing and my wife loved her Pad Se Ew. Their Thai Tea was better than I ever had, it's not Americanized. I really like the steak and how it has a good amount of tendon. However, the meat portions are quite small & the price is about double the price of other Thai restaurants ($24 for drunken noodles, but this is because I added vegetables which are $3). It does take a while for the food to get ready to time everything accordingly. They have some good noodles here from Pad Thai, Pad see Ew, and the Drunken Noodles. I decided to get the drunken noodles this time since I felt like I always get the Pad Thai or See Ew every time I go to a Thai restaurant. It took almost 30 minutes for the noodles but it was good and had a lot of flavor. They do get pretty specially on the weekends. What caught my eye was the coconut milk fried chicken- it is chicken thighs soaked in a coconut milk bath and fried golden brown, topped with Thai herbs, served with rice and your choice of salad to go with it. For this visit I thought I would keep it simple with their Arugula Bae salad- it is arugula, shaved Parmesan, almonds, and sesame ginger dressing. I also got their sweet cream green tea! Okay I can see why the packing house hypes this place up! The chicken is juicy and tender! I didn't taste any coconut, but the batter is thin yet crispy and crunchy with good flavor! The rice is a classic plain jasmine rice, yet it was a great side! The salad was a wonderful way to tie together but also balance out the meal! the green tea was perfectly sweet with light floral flavors, and helped to cool down some of the spice on top of the chicken! Thai food is my #1 go to if I can't decide what to eat, because I am always in the mood for Thai food. So whenever I find an exceptional Thai food spot, it feels like I struck food gold. This place is officially on my top 3 list. The first time I went here, I took the food Togo. The commute was a 20 min drive and usually I have to reheat my food when it's been sitting for that long but as soon as I opened up this meal, everything that was ordered was still smoking hot. Like it just came straight from the kitchen. The Thai basil fried rice had sooo much flavor! Not too oily at all. I hate when my Thai food comes out too oily. It makes the meal so much less satisfying to see that visual. But this rice was *chefs kiss*! Loved the food so much that a second trip was made 3 days later. Ordered coconut fried chicken with a side or arugula and roasted veggies and basil fried rice again -- just as good as last time with the added excitement of a new dish. The fried chicken crispness was perfect. Just the right amount of juiciness and they aren't stingy about the portioning at all. Both times I've been the staff has had such beautiful energy. I've been to the Anaheim Packing house quite a few times and this was the first time trying this place. I got the chicken drunken noodles with mild spice. Normally when you go to Thai restaurants their drunken noodles are always spicy and you can't really set the spice level, but I like that they do that here. I also got a Thai milk tea with my order. I sat with my friend at Georgia's across from this place since she got food from there. My food didn't take too long and it was all put in a to go bag and box for me. The dish was really good and I enjoyed it a lot. The noodles had a good bite, there was a good amount of Thai basil that I always love and the chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The Thai milk tea was extra creamy and delicious. It was a nice dinner and I highly recommend the drunken noodles. read more
