Dove being released by my sister with husband, 2 daughters and son by her side.
Mari V.

Highly Recommend. I rarely give 5 stars. But these were deserved. We didn't have a date for my nieces funeral because of the circumstances of how she passed. I sent a message on here a week before asking if they would be available for her service the following Friday. I was told that they were very busy for that day and time but could do it with 10 doves instead of 20. I was so grateful. I was told by Tim to call Alma to provide more details to her. She was very kind. After speaking with Alma, Tim messaged me to let me know they would try their best to get me 18 doves (my niece was 18 yrs old) but would know closer to the day. Well, they came through and we're able to get me the 18 doves. - The response on Yelp is quick, professional and kind. - Prior to the day they call to go over the details. - They ask what religion the family practices so that they can accommodate accordingly. - They arrive 15 minutes prior to the cemetery. - I made the payment over the phone to not have to worry about it on the day of. - Brian (representative that went) was so kind and made sure to speak with me about what was going to happen and to make sure we agreed with everything. He had a very comforting spirit. Prior to the dove release he gave a small speech of what the dove release represents. Overall the dove release is definitely an amazing symbolic detail to have and it's well worth it.

Book this company early! They get booked fast. The dove release at my Grandmother's funeral was absolutely beautiful. So glad we were able to add this as a special touch. Alma was great to speak with. Craig was the person who came to the burial and released the doves. He was so nice & had a comforting spirit. I loved what he said before the dove release. It was so special and meaningful. Thank you White Dove Release for your great service the. It was much appreciated during this rough time!

Very thankful to have White Dove Release at my dads funeral. Luther and his team are very professional and gave great words of comfort when my family needed it the most. His doves are very healthy calm and clean and fly ever so gracefully in sky up above. If your looking for a dove Release for any event look no more ! Thank you!

Very professional and reliable. We used them for my moms funeral recently. Even though they were more than other companies, it was worth it.

The staff that accompanied us the day of the funeral were so helpful, patient, and attentive. The digital media staff was also attentive to details and created beautiful work from the video slide show to the gorgeous sign in book. I have nothing but great things to say. To the Guerra Gutierrez Funeral Home & Team,…read more On behalf of my entire family, I want to express my deepest and most heartfelt gratitude for the care, compassion, and professionalism you extended to us during one of the most difficult and emotional moments of our lives. From the very beginning, your entire team demonstrated an incredible level of empathy, respect, and grace. The discreet and gentle way you handled the transition of my mother's body from our home was something I will never forget. It was done with such dignity, peace, and care--it felt sacred. You honored her life and our grief with silence, presence, and kindness. Every step of the process--from our first contact to the very final details--was handled with thoughtfulness, patience, and a genuine sense of compassion. In the middle of sorrow and heartbreak, your team provided a sense of calm and guidance that helped hold us together. A very special thank you to Marco, who truly went above and beyond in every way. His warmth, sensitivity, and deep professionalism were a light during a dark time. The way he supported us felt as if he were arranging his own mother's services. His care was personal, heartfelt, and deeply genuine. He made things happen for us quickly and smoothly, catering to our needs and rushing processes so we could focus on honoring and saying goodbye to our beloved mother with grace and peace. Only thing I would recommend is a better place to serve coffee to guests in the large room... & better options on coffins when renting to cremate. There are no words that could truly capture how much your service and presence meant to us, but please know that we will carry your kindness in our hearts forever. With endless gratitude, Maricela Rivera Luna & Family

When I was 8 year's old back in 1996 not yet 9 year's old. I wasn't as aware to the importance of…read moredying and honoring the death of one. At this age, I thought about my own past priorities never being late to school, being a friend protector, and other things that young mind's think of when they're young and their mind is still fresh. My grandmother use to walk me or drive me to school. She started driving me to school when her feet started swelling up really bad. In an unexpected panic myself worrying about being late to school didn't think of the thought of my grandmother's fall at the front screen door pulling the front screen door with her as she fell to the floor. She got up and walked to the bedroom where I sleep now. She laid in the bunk bed's that we had at the time when there was 7 of us living in a two bedroom house sharing one bathroom. I remember her trying to die at home. My grandfather was born in the 1800's when the western dirt road's and train track's existed. He spoke pure Spanish but actually understood English. He would mumble to me jokes in Spanish and he would laugh at me when I would try to understand and repeat what ever he said in Spanish. Although, I never caught on to learning his Spanish. My father came from a family of seven learning how to survive for himself while his father was a doctor. He went to school to learn Electronics, worked at several airplane companies, joined the military and made it a career for 22 year's, and worked at another aerospace company for 20 year's just before getting sick. His father had been a doctor during the Holocaust. His father had to use his doctoring knowledge to prevent himself from being taken to the gas chambers. He befriended the Germans and was lucky. He saw when the families were being separated and forced into the gas chambers. I would have to say that I'm half like my father more for thinking of the most important priorities to be done first. I learned what it's like to have to save money when money is tight and doesn't seem right. I think that I would be a good provider and a trustworthy person having experienced and seeing a lot while I was growing up. I started attending Resurrection Cemetery in Rosemead when I was in my early twenties traveling on the Montebello 40 bus that would leave me in front of the Montebello Mall, then I would take the Montebello 70 bus that would leave me off right by the cemetery. I didn't have the best equipment at the time, nor did I have the money to really buy the flower's. So, I would attend to the grave yard with what I had to clean around the graves of my grandma, grandfather, and now since for four year's now my father. I had to organize a routine that would help me finish a grave faster. After I would finish. I would just sit on the grass for a real long time in deep thought. I have developed my own set-up of decor to leave at each grave and never come back for it, some skill's, a routine that work's, and my own assortment of tool's through out the year's that I have been attending the cemetery for my three loved one's. I love going to the cemetery and having the feeling of peace with myself. But, what I don't appreciate is the desecration of my three loved one's head stone's that were never scratched until now . Please grave yard maintenance worker's. Please be more mindful to our dead loved one's grave head stones. You would not want the same for your loved one's. A second would be some of the security guard's that act more superior than their pay grade and power. Would it kill you to show us some courtesy and respect. Some of you will walk up to me because I look more masculine than anything though I'm 100% by birth female not by transformation and tell me that I need to leave. You will threaten me like ICE threatens immigrants. And, the third would be to the visiter's like myself that attend the cemetery caring these big lawn chairs, big ice chests, and have children that they can't control running around the grave yard like a park. I have a deep appreciation for all the loved one's buried any where and everywhere. Be mindful when laying your gear out to make camp at your loved one's grave. Try not to step on grave stones as well place unnecessarily item's on other loved ones grave stones to use as a table. I enjoyed my day on Saturday, 05/16/2026 when I came to the cemetery and the cemetery was fairly filled. The cool afternoon air felt exuberant. I was able to tend all three graves fast enough to still have time to take in the beauty and time to have a moment with each of my loved one's.

Noticed upon arrival that the front office reception has been remodeled which was nice. However,…read morethree staff members sitting at front counter, you could tell none wanted to get up and assist us the minute we walked in. Acted like we were bothering them instead of being attentive to what we needed assistance with. They should've upgraded their website or added a self service kiosk aiding those needing help to find a service &/or grave. Forrest lawn gets a hand of applause for have this option available on-line including a map of their grounds. If it's such a bother please add this feature for people to use. I bet if we would've inquired about purchasing property their tune would've probably changed. So sad esp since this is a Catholic Cemetery. Do better Resurrection Cemetery & actually help those who walk into the office seeking assistance!!
