Wonderful Idea for your wedding or any other occasion. I surprised my wife on our wedding day with Gomez White Dove Release service. It was such a great idea that not only my wife got surprised but also all other guests including bridesmaids and groomsmen got surprised and attracted to these lovely birds. Gomez was on-time, respectful, and reasonable. We definitely recommend his service for your events! Best, Vida & Arian

Booked them last minute and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Friendly professional service. Easy to deal with and bilingual. Dealing with a funeral is hard enough and they made it easy for me to pay. They set up quick and even said a beautiful speech. The doves are healthy and clean. I highly recommend their services.

They flew out.

I ordered 10 doves for releasing at a memorial. They were very easy to order as I spoke to someone right away. They were delivered to the beach on time and the girl was friendly. We released and they flew out beautiful. I only wished I wouldve been explained to or given options on the release because I was under the impression that they would fly over us or maybe some sort of special moment with the doves, holding one or something unique. I wasnt offered options for releasing them. The cage opened and they flew out in seconds and they were gone. Seconds....thankfully, enough people were able to catch photos but there was nothing special about the release, they flew out and left LOL. We laughed about it after. Its ok I was very emotional and in the moment to think of anything else. Cant complain, all went well in the end.

We had a celebration of life yesterday and as I was planning it I thought doves would be beautiful for our mom. Reached out to Gomez doves they got right back to me. We got everything ordered, he confirmed everything more than once he arrived on time and was very polite. Everyone was SO impressed by the Beautiful Doves. We were able to hold some and release them. It was the perfect touch for a celebration of life. Thank you Issac you were great and I've programmed your number for future use. Thank you again, it was perfect.

But she was someone who looked out for a family member dear to me on an overseas trip. That simple act of kindness has me here alongside my family to pay my respects. This Catholic mortuary and cemetery is among the nicest and well kept throughout the entire LA Archdiocese. And for the vast majority of New Orleans and Louisiana expatriates whose families bought plots or spaces and chose not to return to "the boot", this is where they are mostly placed to rest.

The grounds are peaceful and beautiful, but unfortunately, my experience with the staff and…read morecustomer service was extremely frustrating and made an already difficult time much harder. This was my first time handling the death of a loved one, and I obviously had no idea how any of this was supposed to work. What I needed was someone to clearly walk us through the process, tell us what was needed and when, and make things as easy as possible. Instead, it often felt like the staff knew their own process but expected us to somehow know it too. Communication from the administrative staff was inefficient and strangely impersonal. Emails would begin with things like "Hi Family" and "Sorry for your loss," but the actual interactions rarely felt particularly compassionate or thoughtful. My mom and I were asked to come in person multiple times without a clear explanation of what each appointment was for or why we needed to be there. At one point my mother was in the hospital, and I finally said that whatever still needed to be handled would have to be done by phone or email. One of our appointments lasted more than three hours. I genuinely could not tell you why it took that long, other than the staff member helping us repeatedly leaving the room to go to his computer and then coming back. After spending all of that time providing information, some of it was entered incorrectly, resulting in errors on my father's death certificates. When I flagged the errors, I received no response until I finally cc'd the entire team. The staff member then texted me separately, apologized, acknowledged the mistake and said they would correct it. After that, I heard nothing. I followed up repeatedly by text and email with no response. Nearly two months later, I finally called for an update. Someone else told me the corrected certificates had "just come in" and would be mailed to me. The original staff member did not even get on the phone. After two months without any communication, that response was incredibly disappointing. Mistakes happen, but there should be some accountability and follow-through when they do. The final frustration came on the day we interred my father's ashes. I had confirmed the date and time in advance. When we arrived, there was no one there to greet us and no sign with my father's name or anything else indicating where our family was supposed to gather. I saw a tent farther away from his gravesite with other people sitting underneath it, so naturally I assumed it was for another service. We had family who had traveled from out of town, including two people in wheelchairs who needed a place to sit and shade. I was already extremely emotional because I was there to bury my father. I called the mortuary, upset and panicked, and explained that I could not find where our family was supposed to be. I was simply told, "It's set up, just look around." When I explained that there were already people sitting under the only tent I could see, I asked someone to please come out and help me. It took quite a while for anyone to arrive. When someone finally did, rather than calmly explaining that the other people had simply sat under our tent by mistake, his demeanor made me feel as though I was being unreasonable for not understanding what was happening. That interaction really stayed with me. I had never buried someone I loved before. How was I supposed to know that the tent for our family would not be particularly close to my father's gravesite, that there would be no identifying sign, or that people who were not part of our service might be sitting there and we would need to ask them to leave? At nearly every stage of this process, I felt like we were expected to understand procedures that had never been explained to us. Families dealing with a death are grieving, overwhelmed, and often navigating all of this for the first time. Clear communication, organization, compassion and follow-through should be fundamental. The grounds themselves are lovely and I am glad my father is resting in such a peaceful place. I just wish the experience of getting him there had been handled with much more care, especially considering the price of everything.

Simply put, there are more soulls lying in the grount and in urns then there are living, breathing people in this city-regardless of wether or not your counting only residents, workers in transit, or both. The math has dictared for some time now that Culver City; is in fact, a "city of the dead". That said, like its nearby neighbor Hillside (a Jewish final resting place), it houses many celebrites, of which I wont go into detail about here. Suffice to say, you have heard of most of them. A mere google will help you in that regard. Since I can walk from my residence to either cemetary, on occasion I "pop in" to check out the grounds, visit some family that have passed on, and yes....take a peek at some of the more famous residents who have since or recently passed on. On my way and out of these beautful grounds, I was greeted and sent off by a most pleasant veteran security guard, one Mr. Williams, who needless to say, is the CSA (Customer Service All Star) of this experince. Mr Williams-pictured has worked here for 9 plus years and was kind enough to share some insight about the duties of security as well as what makes his job so pleasant. Thanks Mr. Williams, your a credit to Holy Cross and Allied Universal Security.

Below is the SHORT version: Angelus was called to pick my grandma up after she passed from her home (less than 1 mile away) and charged $600 which I felt was beyond ridiculous. The burial was being paid with a life insurance policy and as beneficiaries (sister and I) of said policy we were sent a document to be signed that needed to be notarized so insurance could pay Angelus directly. The document had items listed in it regarding her estate that we had no knowledge of (we were not trustees) so we let Angelus know they would need those removed before we signed a legally binding document; otherwise, we would have to have insurance pay us directly and then pay them. The items could not (or would not) be removed so we let them know how long it would take to get the money from insurance. Angelus proceeded to be in contact with other family members to pressure us to sign the document. I would have been happy to pay out of pocket but I don't have 10k laying around so we needed that insurance money (which was 10k). After the attempt at manipulation I was very suspicious and went over the burial contract again where I realized there was a general charge of $5,000 for "cemetery charges". My sister called asking what "cemetery charges" were and she was told it was for digging up the grave/burying my grandma; it was so high because she'd be buried with her mom and they would need to dig my great grandma up, dig deeper so they had enough room for 2 coffins, and then bury them both. I was thankfully able to find the plot number of the grave my grandma had purchased decades ago THROUGH Angelus and, lo and behold, when confronted with that plot number, her actual grave was miraculously found and "cemetery charges" dropped by almost half. They tried to say that the purchase was so old and hadn't been imputed into the new computer system but are you really expecting me to excuse that people purchase plots decades in advance and you're not going to keep your records up to date? That's literally your job. You sell people plots and then not keep track of it? Angelus at one point threatened my sister that we'd start being charged a daily fee for housing my grandma if we didn't choose a burial date (which my sister had already done). When my sister confronted our contact on this and told them if that's how it would be then they could redo the contract for the cheapest immediate burial, their tones changed. I find it funny that they tried to make it seem like we didn't care because she was there for 5 weeks yet they hadn't said a word when my dad had been there just shy of that long (he died a few weeks before Thanksgiving and a lot of out of state family asked us to wait to have the funeral until after Thanksgiving so flights weren't so expensive). Everything was finally settles and the DAY we were paid by insurance, they were paid. This place is an absolute scam and I wish I could write the novel that's deserved to be written about all the other things we went through between my dads and grandmas death. Had her plot not already been purchased, I never would have chosen them.
