It's on the way to work so every time I try it and the food is okay typical fast food I promise not to go again until many months I say it must be better or I'll order on the app or it's not crowded at all. I always come here during the weekends with my mom and I love the burgers. They are so cheesy and soft which I love about this place, however, the onion rings haven't been good recently. So much breading but little onions and the price for them doesn't equate to their value. The french fries are another solid choice and it has the right amount of salt and are very soft. Haven't been to a White Castle in years. Burgers were not the same as I remember when I was a kid. They were good though. What was disgusting was the self serve drink dispenser. Instead of soda I selected water from the soda machine. Water was brown. I figured it needed to be purged, so I refilled my cup three or four more times and it was the same brown and merry. The lines were either dirty or mildew. I showed the manager the water from the soda dispenser and she said that's how it is. After 5 pm on a Sunday, this was not the place to be. The person whom I was with was very unhappy, had to wait to order inside, then had to wait over 25 minutes for the order. The order was 20 burgers, nothing else. There were only three staff members and one drive-thru staff member. There appeared to be no manager or assistant manager there to speak with. Meanwhile, outside there were four vehicles that left the drive-thru lane. The person whom I was with goes there quite often. This is the worst that it has ever been. read more

Today was my first visit since they did the renovations. It's actually pretty nice inside and great to see them finally keeping up with the times. It started to get busy after I walked in and they have always had a good turn around. I wouldn't expect any less from a fast food place. Although the prices have gone up quite a bit from the past it's hard to forget the many nights as a young teenager or young adult that I would come to White Castle after a night or early morning partying. I'm from the California, so I'd heard about the vegan impossible sliders, but hadn't been able to try until now. Honestly? It's junk food. The sliders, especially without cheese are bland and I don't even like the impossible burger that much (the t-shirt is amazing though). The fries were passable. Sliders are not my thing, at least not like that. They need fresh vegetables to be a mini burger. Otherwise, as expected, it's junk. Also this location is super confusing to drive into. The meal is complete with a shake and an orange drink I absolutely love the burgers with or without cheese. The fries are my favorite always. The cheesecake on a stick is delicious. I enjoy the claim strips and the chicken rings too. I also think the onion chips are wonderful. I definitely suggest eating here for a real deal meal. This White Castle location will forever hold a special place in my heart. It was the closest franchise to where I grew up, only about a 25 minute drive away. A 25 minute drive is completely inconsequential when "the crave" for fatburgers strikes one's soul, and strike often it did. Tucked right off of 22 West, it is also one of the cleaner White Castles you should ever encounter, and it's rarely busy. As a poor high school student, this was a cheap and dependable meal. We were young and immature and did stupid things like having a contest to see who could eat the most White Castle hamburgers. My friend Matt set the record amongst us friends by consuming 15 in a sitting. That's over 2000 calories and 100 grams of fat. He felt sick afterwards, but to his credit, he didnt hurl. They aren't everywhere - friends of mine from Maryland visited me in New Jersey and saw this White Castle when we drove by and flipped out - they thought it was a made up restaurant from the movie "Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle" and that the frozen burgers in grocery stores were based on that movie. Two words: White Castle. That is all. Actually that is not all. White Castle is the home to the original sliders before everybody and their mother decided to create sliders. However unlike everybody and their mothers' sliders, these are supreme works of art. The bun, burger patty, and onions create an exquisite combination unlike no other that always leaves you longing for more. The fries are excellent as well. Not the best fries I have ever had, but yummy tasting, tender fries. Upon returning to the Garden State, this place is usually one of my first stops. The one downside to this location is that their drive-thru literally takes forever. The Supreme Court has heard, debated, and decided on landmark cases in shorter times than it takes for you to get through the drive-thru. Also their soda fountain is very noisy and makes funny sounds. read more

I ordered both bacon and sausage. Again, both were great. Then on another visit, tried the sandwiches, on wheat bread. Again, results were consistent. Delish. Also got a bag of 'hash browns'. Holy crap, good! Everything is hot. Tasty and the place is spotless. The only problem I've had, again, it's a little slow on the service. It's worth the wait, though.
