One of the coolest features of the shop is the incredible selection of candles and wax melts inspired by tabletop gaming. Although they are especially exciting for gamers, I think anyone who loves scents shouldn't miss this line. They had a buy 3, get 1 free promotion so we decided to buy 8 wax melts and had such a hard time narrowing it down to just 8! So far I've been enjoying the "Temple" scent in my house but can't wait to use the other 7 and hopefully try some more eventually. I can't wait to stop back in to the Crafty Gamer. DANGER WARNING I attended a candle making experience in…read moreFebruary for Valentine's with my two daughters and niece. The place was clean & had a large variety of options. Cecilia the owner was pleasant , she supervised our group during the process of picking out the items and while we created the candle. At the end of our visit we paid and were on our way. I used the candle for the first time a couple of months ago and a second time on June 7th. Both times the candle was used in the manner it was intended to be used. I didn't alter the candle, I didn't allow it to burn for longer than an hour, and it was not left near anything that could catch fire. The candle was lit sitting on my bedroom dresser I stepped away to use the bathroom attached to my bedroom and heard an explosion when I ran out my dresser was on fire. I quickly poured water over the fire. The jar I purchased from the establishment combusted that was the loud sound I heard. Thankfully I walked away when I did because where I had been sitting I found pieces of the shard glass! Once the excitement had passed I contacted Cecilia and explained what happened. She stated it wasn't her problem and I explained this was a matter of product liability as she sold me the item and the materials used to create the candle. I explained that she could contact her insurance company because I would like my dresser repaired or replaced. She stated again it wasn't her problem and that I signed a waiver. The waiver doesn't remove her from liability of the item combusting while being used properly. When the candle was lit the second time it was 3/4 full of wax. She became argumentative I told her I didn't want to argue and she could take 24 hours and get back to me. She got back to me a little after the 24 hours with a copy of the waiver I signed , I replied thank you and if that was her final decision she didn't respond. Her behavior has been unprofessional, rude and fails to take accountability for the product she sold me and helped me create. No business owner should feel it isn't their responsibility after such damage was caused. Thankfully I wasn't injured. I really didn't want to make this post as all of the reviews I post are always positive because I know people need to make a living ... if she doesn't make things right I will pursue legal actions through the courts for restitution for my damages.

Adjectives Market was founded by former attorney Jeremy Thompson and they have now grown to five locations. Adjectives Market sells new, antique, and vintage items. They focus on unique but affordable items. The idea for adjectives came to Jeremy from his love of the kind of vintage markets you find in New York, Atlanta, and Miami. He wanted the store to show how vintage items could be incorporated into modern design. Adjectives was chosen for the name of the store because it represents the large vocabulary one would need to describe it. Each store curates new and vintage inspired home decor. I was blown away but how large this store is. There are multiple rooms filled with furniture and home decor. Everything was so beautifully displayed. They also sell holiday decorations, clothes, accessories, and jewelry from a mixture of artists, home decor experts, and craftsmen. You are sure to find things you have never seen before. This store answers the problem I have when I go to antique malls or stores. You can see an item you love on a dusty shelf but you can't work out in your mind how it will fit into your space. Everything here is displayed in such a thoughtful way that you can easily imagine it in your own home. I especially love to visit when they have all of their holiday decor out.
