Despite the limited selection, there was a good diversity of different types of games including some of my favorites, some I've been wanting to try, and some I had never heard of! One of the coolest features of the shop is the incredible selection of candles and wax melts inspired by tabletop gaming. Although they are especially exciting for gamers, I think anyone who loves scents shouldn't miss this line. They had a buy 3, get 1 free promotion so we decided to buy 8 wax melts and had such a hard time narrowing it down to just 8! So far I've been enjoying the "Temple" scent in my house but can't wait to use the other 7 and hopefully try some more eventually. I can't wait to stop back in to the Crafty Gamer. The young lady that was there the first two days was so kind, and remembered us and things we purchased. Today I met the owner/product creator. We chatted about how he makes everything in house! Such a kind man who takes pride in his business. Everything we have purchased so far- hand soap, dish soap, face wash, laundry detergent, lotions, bar body soap - has been incredible. The quality is unmatched. I can pronounce every natural, non toxic ingredient. I love the zero waste, refilling aspect of this store too. There's parking out front and the two times I've gone I've found a spot right away. Lufka describes their shop as an online and IRL store for "sustainable, zero-waste essentials. From eco-friendly cleaning supplies to handmade body and hair care, we offer high-quality, lovingly crafted products that are good for you and the planet." I went in with a glass bottle to fill with laundry detergent (they have bottles, or you can bring any receptacle you have on-hand for them to weigh the product). We also grabbed some hair conditioner and a metal tongue scraper. All in all, it was a simple process and I feel so much better refilling this bottle rather than filling landfills with more detergent bottles (70% don't get recycled, even if you try).

The shop is gorgeous and has everything from hand-painted Moroccan tea glassware, to home decor, to bar accessories, to children's gifts, to a "Tea Room" private event space that looks straight out of a picture book. From perusing their website I see that they also offer custom home design services and that you can book the Tea Room for private events. I really appreciated seeing that along with the classics, Eyre features local children's book authors (including Zoey's Adventures to the Ice Cream Shop, a personal fave!). They also had some caps and sweaters with ORL or WP embroidery. Finally, the giant woven light fixture shades are reminding me of Bali in all the best ways! I got to chat with the owner, Kelly, as I checked out and she was a pleasure! Great little shop that has something for everyone! I LOVED IT. I've been meaning to read more into my tarot books, but it always ends up getting forgotten about and whenever I do a tarot reading for a friend, I have to lookup the meaning in my book rather than knowing immediately what the cards mean. Deanna was so knowledgeable on each card and made the experience immersive and collaborative. She passed the card around the circle to have each person say what they notice about the card or feelings the card induces. This class was very valuable and I took many notes that I will look back on for my tarot journey. I plan on attending more of her classes and learning more about tarot cards! 10/10 store and 10/10 experience.

Many of the decorated trees were absolutely gorgeous. You probably could not build the tree for the sale price they were offering. But if it's not your style, they have many trees you can buy and all sorts of stuff to adorn it with. I really liked all the lights. They had huge stars for the lawn and large balls of light to hang as well as firework shaped lights. Very cool. I picked up a tea towel. It was $9.99. I didn't have a need for any of the big stuff but I was fascinated by the designs and color schemes etc. The owner said they've been open for over 50 years. She also mentioned they do business with the theme parks. Pro tip- they start Christmas in July! So that's when the store is stocked full of everything. So shop early for the best selection. They do not ship because things can break and the shipping and insurance is expensive. So while they have a website, it does not have their items and you cannot buy online. So- stop by! I would give an hour just to peruse. If you're buying - it could be a few hours. Also- they have other holiday stuff (Halloween, Fourth of July, etc)and silk flowers for arrangements etc. They also have furniture, many large planters and vases. So this store is not just Christmas.

It's fa la la fabulous. Expensive... extensive... and fabulous. I went to their Christmas in July event, on the last weekend of July 2025. They open at 8:30am and I was there early ( excited!) . They had super friendly parking attendants in Santa hats directing other eager elves to prime parking spots. I was jingling and tingling-so ready to go inside. And I was definitely delighted once I got there... room after room, building after building... full of every Christmas item you could think of, from sacred and soulful to sparkly and shimmery... and everything in between. There were so many trees, decorated in so many themes, with so many accessories, for the rest of the room. I've never seen anything so holly and jolly in the retail world. It really was a feast for the senses (cue the Who's to start singing). There were some really beautiful things-and some prices were high... or at least higher than you'd expect. There were some blue and white cone trees that took my breath away. I'd almost sell my car for those. They were breathtaking-as is so much of this store. And it's not just the merchandise, but the way they've displayed it, as well. It will definitely get you in the holiday spirit... without drinking any holiday spirits. And if the merch doesn't do that, the sweet staff will. They are dedicated and invested in this business... and seem to take great joy in helping customers. No wonder it's survived 50+ years. Santa's smiling at them. It's an easy drive from Tampa... about 90 minutes, give or take. It might be even shorter/easier from the east coast. There's ample parking and truly, something for everyone. I'll look for you! (I'll be the one covered in glitter from hugging trees!)
