I've been coming to the store for years. I've had nothing but amazing experiences here. Their selection and the value that you get for your price is outstanding. I paid $15 for my pendant. That kind of quality for that price isn't something you come by often in this day and age. There are so many things that you can get all at this one store! I can't even name them all. I'll give it a small try. You can get stones, so many to choose from. You can get clothes, earrings, necklaces, tarot cards, a plethora of books on many different subjects, incense, etc.. This place is such a vibe. It's filled with a wide variety of books, spiritual cards, and other unique finds that instantly pull you in. The energy inside is warm, peaceful, and uplifting. Went for a tarot reading -- left with tons of sage and crystals. I would call ahead to confirm there is a reader -- however they are walk-in only. $25 for 15 min or $50 for 30 min. I've been shopping here for over 5 years and they always have new stuff and a great selection, everything is fairly priced, and everyone that works there is really nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating. For example today I saw 5 candles I wanted on the display that weren't dressed yet, and they dressed all 5 of them on the spot and took the time to make it special. Upon arriving there was a line outside waiting to be let in. There was a worker at the door letting folks in depending on the number of people coming out at a time. The worker provided everyone entering with hand sanitizers and masks if they needed one. That was nice of them to offer. I was surprised to see a line to get in but makes sense once you're inside they have such an amazing selection of anything you can think of. The energy in the space felt welcoming and the workers were helpful and nice to talk to while browsing. I came in with no intention of getting anything but I was gifted a bracelet, which I absolutely love! This is my first experience in a store like this and it was great. I mostly came to bring my niece here. She is into crystals, tarot cards and spiritual likeness. She was very impressed with the store and brought a small bag of various healing stones she wanted. The store appeared very organized and intriguing with everything you could possibly want and more. Even with many businesses reverting to pre Covid procedure Avalon is still taking all necessary steps to ensure their customers safety. There was a long wait to get in but I didn't mind waiting as it reassured less than 10 people in the store at a time. This is a small store so I think that was very wise. They also regulate mask. They required my toddler wear one whenever I'm not holding him. He didn't do so great with this so I politely left and let my niece enjoy herself. With the wait being longer to get in its thoughtful to be mindful of your time so I didn't mind exiting so others could come in. Overall they have have plenty of employees working. They are all friendly... especially the girl greeting this day with a head of curly hair who told me she also had a little one and was very understanding. I have been a customer for years. The amount of items is very impressive covering many different spiritual and religious systems. The selection of books is very impressive as well as the selection of crystals, ritual supplies, and just about anything else you could need. The owner frequently updates with new merchandise so there's always something new to see and the people who work there are mostly very knowledgeable in spite of how many different things there are to be familiar with. I sometimes come here with people that need to buy crystals, rare gems and stones, this place has everything and if they don't have it, well, you gotta order online because you won't find it at any store, except a couple places in Tampa where the Mineral and Gemology Society is strong. I also come here to buy gifts because they have lots of statues, banners, posters, journals, jewelry, just a bunch of giftable stuff. If you need a book on a pinch, this place most likely has it, although other bookstores are jumping on the spirituality/metaphysical trend and now you can find oracle card decks while you do your groceries, and yes, that is where we are going: a spiritual awakening. Pure Magic! This is one of my favorite places in Orlando and the number one place for all your hippie dippy needs. I would recommend this place if that's your kind of thing. It's hard to describe this place but it's a bookstore with a twist. Definitely a yogi's paradise...there a ton of little trinkets and knickknacks that are so unique, I don't know where else you'd find them in Orlando. They have a ton of stuff: books, crystals, stones (of all sizes), jewelry (earrings, pendants, bracelets, rings), little statues, incense sticks, tarot cards, books, candles, wall art, oils, bags, etc. The store is pretty organized. Like if you want stuff about the chakras, there's a section for that. Or if you want candles or bath soaks, there's a section for that. I usually come here for essential oils, crystals/stones, and incenses/sage sticks. They have such a huge collection of everything. So it can be overwhelming. They have the best selection of crystals/stones ever and they have descriptions of them posted so you can learn more about the stone. I always walk in just wanting to "look" but end up leaving with a couple of things. And even if you don't buy anything, the good vibes and energy here will just melt your stress away. All of the staff who work here are super nice and helpful. Feel free to ask them for help or ask questions. In the time of a pandemic and everyone acting like we are back to normal, it was nice to see that they limited the number of people in the store. We did not mind waiting in the queue. It was like we were at a theme park. They even provide hand sanitizer when you go in so a free gift! We picked up some holiday presents and bought some items for ourselves. They had a ton of herbs to choose from even rare finds like graveyard dirt to woad. I didn't even know what woad was and the staff didn't either, it wasn't even in their herb book. I had to look on the internet to see what it was for. It actually a protection herb a blue war paint that indigenous warriors wore before war. They have everything from books, to journals, to tarot cards, to crystals, to candles, herbs, spell kits, incense, clothing, jewelry, ornaments for your home and or office, and some of the best women serving you. One woman in particular is, Shanda. I call her my personal herbalist. She's knows her herbs and if you ever want your candles dressed (a ritual involving adding herbs to any candle of your choice to enhance the intention one is desiring to manifest), or have any need that includes the use of herbs she is my go to gal. And she's so willing to help. If you stop by make sure you tell her Lisa sent you. Their prices are reasonable, although there have been times where I'll visit and purchase one thing and next time I go back the same thing has varied in price. I only notice this around things that I like to burn such as sage. They have the largest selection of crystals and stones. There is a difference. Hint : if you've ever been curious about working with crystals and stones but are uncertain where to begin, my suggestion is to purchase a crystal book. There are a couple to choose from so simply choose the one(s) that resonate with you. In this book you'll find information on the many kinds of crystals, what they are used for, how they can assist you on your journey, what crystals may work with you best according to things like your birth sign. Those books hold a lot of helpful information as there is a lot to learn. And if you have questions, ask. They are very helpful. On busy days their parking lot fills up quickly so you might have to park on the street directly across from the store or in nearby lots. read more

The problem I'm finding with these "gypsy spot" places is that people tend to mistake the overall theme of the shop. If you're just beginning to find your spiritual side, then this the right place for you. If you're researching your metaphysical needs, then this is the right place for you. If you believe in the magic of internal healing powers and meditation, then this the right place for you. If you're studying witchcraft for the first time and want to see what this store is all about, then this is still the right place for you. Overall, it is a healing store. But if Google or Apple Maps needs to categorize it, I would look for bookstore or nature shop. I come once or twice a year to stock up on chakra candles, sage, crystals for my anxiety, things that worry me, etc. And my last visit, I purchased one of those crossover hemp bags for my next visit home this winter. There's plenty to explore and more in this quaint little shop near downtown Orlando. The only issue is the cramped parking lot that wraps around the store. This is THE CUTEST CRYSTAL SHOP I've ever seen! This shop has different rooms for different items. Since I was in search of a crystal, I stayed mostly in the crystal room, but got some peeks into the other areas. So if you're not into crystals, don't worry, they also offer other items like books, tarot cards, clothing, and I think they also had incense and teas in the back. The employees here are great! They're super friendly and very knowledgeable about the various crystals in their shop. One employee even took the time to walk around the store with me to help find a raw clear quartz pendant that I could wear on a necklace. It was very nice to get that personalized care. Most of the crystals there are priced, however, the crystal that I picked didn't have a price on it. Once I got to the register, I found out it was only $4! I'm used to seeing crystals at $25-$30 at typical crystal shops, so this was a steal! I went ahead and purchased it, and learned that they also dip the crystals in sage to cleanse it for you...HOW CUTE!! I've never been to a crystal shop that does this, so I was happy to see that they really put in effort towards these little details. Overall - great service, great products, and great pricing.
