Worst used car purchase of my life... and let me tell u that all of the four cars I've ever had were all older used cars. I found this car on a listing on cargurus. It seemed like a really clean car with a good mileage range for the price. Drove great and couldn't find a reason not to buy it. Everything worked, good options, and the body and interior where in really good shape. It had some aftermarket parts so I asked if I could get a warranty with it. The salesman put me at ease by saying the he could give me a 3 month or 4500 mile warranty with it and went on to explain that he wasn't worried about the car AT ALL. I bought the car!! Two weeks later I realize that it's eating oil like no other. I brought the car back to be told that nothing could be found wrong and to watch levels and if it presents or got worse to call them back. Well I drove this car for about another month constantly feeding it oil waiting to get into my mechanic to see what he had to say. I contacted this dealer to let him know what was going on and that my mechanic has come to the conclusion that the internals of the motor were most likely severely damaged and it would continue to chug oil unless a rebuilt or new engine block where put in the car. The dealer urged me to drive it back to them and they would settle it through the warranty company. The warranty company didn't cover the damage based on the aftermarket parts that were already on the car when I bought it. If u backtrack... one of the only reasons I bought this car was because a warranty was offered with it. Seems as tho I was sold a warranty for no reason. After being careless for almost three weeks with little to no contact from the dealer I called to find that the only way I was going to get this car rolling to fork over another $1400 for the new engine block and labor. Now in the grand scheme of things that is a low price for the install, but when ur told ur getting a power train warranty and something goes wrong one would think that it would be covered so paying anything doesn't really feel completely right, but to get the ball rolling I agreed and justified it to myself as having a cheap new engine. This would have all been great if the new engine went in smoothly. I picked my car up to find that anywhere I parked and sat for even an hr I'd leave a puddle of oil. On top of that it was leaking directly onto the header, burning, and stinking my car up like burnt oil. I ran through another quart of oil by the time I brought it back to get straightened out. So ok. You have to put an entire engine back together. I get it. There's a ton of pieces and hoses etc and accidents happen and nobody's perfect. All fine and dandy. So for the third time I go to pick up my car happy to finally have it back. Still leaks oil. And now there's an exhaust leak. So in the grand scheme of things I paid and additional $1400 on top of the original purchase to go from burning oil to leaking it. Let me also mention that I live an hr away from this dealer. I have owned this car for three and a half months and have been able to drive it for maybe a little less than half of that time. Try and imagine what you would have to do to get to work when you also work about 40 minutes from your house. My friends, family, girlfriend, and parents all had to help me out for more than a month. It also affected my work, the people I work for, and the people I work with. I cannot give or get any of that time back. So in closing these guys sold me a car with issues and kind of tried to help and didn't do a very good job at it at all. As a matter of fact I'm still in the middle of all of this as we speak. All unresolved and now all they are doing is ignoring me. I hope this review helps someone or saves someone from going through what I went through. Maybe they aren't so bad, but all I can tell you from my experience is that they will sell u a car, but if there's an issue they will drag you along and make everything difficult.
