I came in and they ran my credit 2 times and said you need more money to put down, I understand the whole bank stuff but I've been to plenty other dealerships where my credit gets ran 11 times. I took my son to buy his first car at Hershey motors.two years later I purchased another car for myself from Mike the same salesman that my son bought from.in total we spent 53000.00$ between the two cars.4k miles after I bought lmy charger the motor blew. I called Mike and he said I was out of luck!!!! The dealer that replaced the motor told me that the engine had been run without oil and that caused the damage.my son had a deer run in front of him and totaled his truck.we decided to give Hershey motors another chance as they could not see inside the motor.we picked out the car and asked Mike to hold the car for several days.i told Mike that I would buy the car as long as the truck was totaled.i wanted to get in writing first before buying another car.on Saturday Mike called and after going back and forth he agreed to hold the car.on Sunday Mike called,and asked if I had heard anything I said no but I would call him as soon as I had a answer.he told me that they were closed on monday.but Monday morning I got a call from Mike again asking if I had heard anything.itold Mike that I would call him once I heard anything.but he continued to pressure me to fill out acredit application.at that point he had pushed me to the point of telling him to forget the deal and I would go elsewhere.we did we bought one for our son and our son that truck was totaled bought another truck.my last purchase was a cash deal and I told Mike that I was looking for a car for my son in Maine as well as one for my other son and funds were not a problem.if he wouldn't have been so pushy he would of sold 2cars and kept a customer.hopefully management will see this and if they are aware of this and being this aggressive is your policy you won't be in business much longer between the two cars we spent another 45k and will go there in the future read more

We purchased a vehicle from them on December 26, 2017 and in June of 2018 had to replace the engine. Then in July, had to replace the transmission! We have put more than half of what we paid into the car! When I called to let them know, I spoke with our salesman who said I needed to talk to the manager. I called twice, leaving messages. This is my friend's experience. "I recently purchased a Nissan Frontier from Hershey Motors on 11/24/2017. I have received nothing but problems and NO help from the Dealership as they refuse to take ownership for what they did. I received a trade in value for my vehicle and the vehicle was still in the shop after I had brought the car back for the SECOND time in 2 weeks and they could of switched it back as I requested, and I would have been ok with that. On Dec 5 I dropped the car back off after having a well respected certified mechanic who works on Trucks for a 75 million Dollar company look at it and give his expert opinion. He ran the Diagnostics test which speaks for itself with all the CODE errors. This car was given an inspection stick on 11/7/2017. I say given because in the 24 miles that happened after that is not possible for the battery hold down to be gone, the entire exhaust system failing, the tires completely dry rotted. I also requested they look at the brakes because I was having trouble stopping and the car was shaking at 60 mph. Hershey Motors "fixed" the issue of the exhaust by welding a few pieces together and spray painting the rust on the muffler. They refused to pay for the diagnostic test they reset, refused to pay for new tires and ignored the shaking problem. The shaking problem turned out to be the rotors and calibers. They were worn down so bad they were BLUE. I have all pictures of the rotors and the invoices of the work completed. The gas mileage has been HORRIBLE only getting 12 miles to the Gallon. Hershey sells and "services" its vehicles. This is a conflict of interest with the typical BS use car salesmen and the service people "Andy Attitude" talking under his breath while I was leaving. I have filed with the BBB, State And Emissions Inspections along with the Attorney General. I am out of pocket over $1,500.00 along with dealing with what comes next and the bad service and business of the Hershey Family. read more

The sales men tell you it has a good car fax report but it doesn't so check yourself, I didn't and found out after the finance company rejected it. This place is a SCAM. I bought used Truck 1 month ago and have had nothing, but problems. I am closing in on $1,000 out of pocked expenses and will get that on Tuesday. They all ready started the truck up and let it run so I could not tell how loud it was when I purchased. the friendly appearance and niceness is a Front for the Scum working in Service. They Slapped an inspection sticker on this truck and pushed it out the door on me. Blamed the noise on a 63 year old Mechanic who could not hear. NO hold down on the battery and they overlooked it TWICE. so that is a DEAD give away they did not inspect this truck. I was willing to take my trade in back since they claim to guarantee the work they do. Here is what one of the Hershey BOYS reply was to my many problems with them and giving me a loaner car with NO gas. Mr. Williams, We are finished going over your Frontier. I have reviewed the problems you have had with the Frontier and was disappointing to learn that we did in fact miss the battery hold down during our inspection. As far as the exhaust leak, the Frontier passed obd2 Emissions with no problem. This test is not something that can be tricked. The accusation that we cleared the light and then sold you the truck by misleading you is erroneous. The exhaust components that were leaking have been replaced including the cat, muffler and tailpipe. We installed a new battery hold down. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. When we make mistakes we fix them to the best of our ability. We inspected the tires again. The tread is at 5/32's, 2/32's is pass or fail in PA. The tires are 3 years old, the compound of the tire is still in good shape. There is some small superficial cracks but it is not a safety concern at this time. When there are issues with vehicles we sell we are usually happy to help, even when the problems fall outside our warranty. We do require the problems to be addressed at our shop whenever possible, so unfortunately the $102.71 will be your responsibility. Loaning a vehicle to customers is something we are happy to do in situations like this to make things a little less inconvenient but unfortunately the fuel for the loaner vehicle we will also be your responsibility. I would like to apologize again for missing the the battery hold down. We should have at least caught it the second time. We know it is frustrating when there are mechanical failures. We do try and service every vehicle we sell thoroughly to avoid problems like this. I am a little late with this review, but I have to get this out so no one else gets screwed over like I did. Back in July I bought a Grand Marquis from them and about 1 week later I notice that there was something wrong with the brakes. I took the car into the dealership and had the service dept take a look at my car. They replaced one brake line and said everything was good. Fast forward about 2 weeks later and my brakes give out on me while I am driving so I take it into another shop and they said the other brake lines were rusted out so bad they at car should have never been sold like that in the first place. What gets me though is how can they replace one brake line and not even tell me the other 3 were rusted out. This has showed me they don't care about the customers and only care about the all mighty dollar. Hershey motors risked me getting in an accident by not telling me about my brake lines. Which I don't understand because had they told me the other 3 needed to be replaced too. I would have had them all replaced. After all that's common sense, but Hershey motors don't have that.
