A Serene Mountain Retreat with a Unique Twist!
Whispering Pines Resort is an absolute gem tucked away in the quiet beauty of Alton, Utah. If you're looking for a peaceful escape that serves as a perfect base camp for exploring Bryce Canyon and Zion, this is it, with a truly unique lodging experience.
We stayed in one of the covered wagons, and it was a delightful adventure! The interior was surprisingly cozy and comfortable, feeling like a step back in time but with all the modern comforts you need for a good night's sleep. While the wagons are a short walk from the amenities, the best part is the private bathroom that comes with each one. It's so worth the short walk to have a clean, actual bathroom with a shower all to ourselves--a huge upgrade from a typical campground outhouse.
What truly sets Whispering Pines apart is the owners, Ron and Christy. I had a ton of questions about "glamping" since I'd never done it before, and they were amazing. They answered every single one of my emails quickly and thoroughly, which made me feel confident and excited about our stay. Their genuine friendliness and helpfulness made all the difference.
My friend and I had friends visiting in Duck Creek and spent a lot of time there with them. It was nice coming back each night to the tranquility of the resort, far from the crowds of the national parks. This is the perfect place for anyone who wants to reconnect with nature and try something different, without sacrificing a clean, private bathroom! Highly recommend! read more
