I called them this morning due to a very loud screeching noise that was coming from my front brakes. I was told to stop by this afternoon, which I did. Of course when I got there, the noise had stopped. Isn't that the way it always happens?! When I arrived, Jonathan greeted me outside, he listened to what the issue was and promptly pulled my vehicle in and put it on the lift. It was discovered that I picked up a rock that got caught in the rotor, resulting in the awful noise. No damage was done, fortunately. I can not tell you how much I appreciated the honesty. He charged me a more than fair rate for the diagnosis....nothing. I certainly wasn't expecting that. This is beyond amazing customer service. Since I was there, I decided to ask about getting a quote on a service another establishment told me that I needed to get done asap, which was quite costly and I wanted to get other quotes before committing. Well, he looked at the issue, did a test and it was determined that what I was told was not even needed (replacement of rear leaking struts). There was nothing leaking and it passed the "bounce test" with flying colors. Jonathan told me he wouldn't even quote it because it wasn't necessary work. For the record, it is a bus stop. It's ridiculous that I can't park for literally five minutes to make sure my kids get on the bus safely, especially when the shop doesn't even open until 8 AM. There certainly wasn't a line out the door waiting to get in, and judging by other Yelp reviews, there likely won't be. Instead of being rude to parents trying to keep their kids safe, maybe focus on customer service -- it seems like that's already an issue here. If you just can't handle that the bus stop is in front of your business at 6:55am, I suggest you call the school transportation system and complain instead of being a crab.

I called Pep Boys as my last call and spoke with Roger. He was nice enough to check the new inventory that they had just received and was able to find the 4 tires that I needed. I explained to him my tires were in their last leg after a cross country drive and needed them changed ASAP. He told me they were booked until Friday but to come in and he would squeeze me in if I'm patient. I thanked him and got there as fast as I could. When I got there everyone was very friendly and helpful and explained everything to me regarding the tires and my car. The customer service at this location is top notch and I will definitely be back.
