Line Dance Thursday

Amazing bar in horse town USA! Great people that are welcoming! Country feel with awesome staff that treats you like family. Dancing every night and live music Friday and Saturdays.

Showing my button up sleeveless shirt with a collar that almost got me thrown out

I normally don't leave reviews, but the way I was treated at this place deserves attention. I showed up wearing a sleeveless shirt -- the way I bought it, nothing offensive or inappropriate. I went through security at the door, where the guard gave me an over-the-top frisk that already felt excessive. Still, I shrugged it off and went inside. I spent two hours there, took part in the dance class, had a couple of drinks, ordered food -- I was having a great time. Then out of nowhere, I get tapped on the shoulder. It's the *same* security guy from the front, and now he suddenly has a problem with my shirt. After two hours of being inside with zero issues, now it's a problem? Instead of handling it calmly, he brings over a big guy in no visible uniform who calls himself the "head of security." The attitude he came with was aggressive and unprofessional -- zero explanation, just a power trip. I was a paying customer, not causing any issues, and was there to have a good time like everyone else. Being harassed like that was completely unnecessary and made it clear they don't respect the people who support their business. This place needs to seriously retrain their security staff on how to treat guests. Until they do, I won't be coming back -- and I'd advise others to think twice before spending their money here.

Service is great. It's 9:30pm on a Friday and it's mostly elderly people with a few young people. It's more of a chill vibe. Not too busy or crowded. The drinks are about $8, but do not taste much of alcohol.

It's a fun place to go and learn line dancing. Food was reasonable and good. It was easy to fine and entrance fee is not too much.

The food is made in a kitchen separate from the bar/ dining area. The food and drinks were REALLLLY good! The drinks have a kick to it, and as a big fan of tiki bars, the drinks here definitely hit the spot. Although it wasn't busy, there was only guy working and serving. It did take a while for our food and drinks to come out, but for being a one man show, I gotta give him credit for handling everything well!

The Lanai is located in the Cravings food court area at The Station shopping center in Eastvale. There is plenty of parking available. We went inside to the Shuck Oyster bar and entered The Lanai from there. It is actually more of a tiki patio than an enclosed tiki bar. However, the tiki décor is great with plenty of bamboo, carved tiki figures, hanging puffer fish, tiki style signs, and many tropical accents. There are overhead fans spaced around in case it is hot outside. We had one round of drinks and several appetizers. The coconut shrimp and lightly battered Shishito peppers were great and the sauces paired well. We have had these appetizers at Stowaway before and they had the same good quality. She ordered the spicy tofu bites. I'm not usually a fan of tofu, but they were surprisingly really good. I had the Adrian's Mistake cocktail which was well balanced and a little on the strong side. She had the Right Of Passage which was good and had a light fruit flavor and you could definitely taste the mango. The one man show Brandon took great care of us. It was slow at this time of day so we got a chance to chat with him quite a bit and service was fast. They have a weekday happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. Although we didn't specifically order off the happy hour menu, three of our items, including both cocktails were part on it. I give it 4.3 stars but rounded up to five stars. I'm sure the ambience is much better in the evening when it more lively and dark outside. They have a good variety of munchies, and the cocktail menu has a good mix of tiki classics and some originals. I don't think there any many tiki bars in this area, so I hope they do well.

Came here with friends during lunch hour & got some items from the "lunch deals" section. For the lunch deals, we got the 2 chicken tacos, which comes with chips & salsa. There was a decent amount of chips and salsa and the tacos were a good size & had good flavors. 8/10 for the chicken tacos. My friend got the traditional wings (6 piece) lunch deal which comes with a side of fries & celery. The sizes of the wings look decent & she enjoyed the meal. Our party also got the steak tacos & steak nachos. This time, there was a decent amount of steak on the nachos and it paired perfectly with everything. The first time we came here and we got the nachos during our last visit, there was barely any steak on the nachos so I'm glad they corrected it and making it better. 8/10 for the nachos. Drinks: my group mainly got beer so they were all good & happy with it. I wanted a margarita flight and well, that was pretty disappointing. It was supposed to be 4 different flavors/drinks with tequila. But where was the tequila? I felt that they should've been upfront with it on the menu and called it a mocktail or something because when we didn't taste any tequila in it, we asked the waitress & she mentioned to us that there is only 1 shot of tequila for the whole flight...like what?! That flight cost $20 so you're telling me I'm basically buying $20 worth of juice since the tequila is non-existent?! That was truly disappointing to hear & even the waitress said she would never recommend the flight because of it and it wasn't fun to make. So do better Brass Tap, either add more tequila to your flight to make it actually worth $20 or just remove it all together from your menu. Deceiving & a total waste. 0/10 for the flight. Thankfully the waitress removed it from our bill without issue & got me the watermelon margarita to replace it. Much better and you can taste some tequila in it (not much but a lot more than what was sprinkled onto the flight). 6/10 for the watermelon drink. Overall the service is decent and the space is decent for small groups. There's seating at the bar area and tables inside and outside. Decor was typical for these type of place. Plenty of parking as well. Will I be back? Maybe if drinks are better.

Our server, Michelle came to our table and introduced herself and gave us the Brunch and regular menus, was very friendly and took our drink orders. My Bloody Mary, and my wife's Mojito were excellent, kudos to the Bartender. We started with the Crispy, salted Truffle fries, cooked perfect....would get those again in a heart beat. The wife ordered the Tagliatelle with braised short ribs on pasta and House salad (get the house dressing, fantastic and different) and I had the 8oz filet Minion rare with the Asparagus. The short ribs fell apart with a fork and were moist and delicious, the pasta was cooked Al dente and the sauce was tasty. My 8oz filet was about 2" thick, cooked perfectly rare, seasoned well and an excellent cut with no gristle. The Asparagus was cooked perfect, still slightly firm to the bite, no stringy pieces and had a balsamic drizzle with cut cherry Tomatoes and small mozzarella balls. The atmosphere was nice, inviting, and comfortable. This was a fantastic dining experience from the wait/bartender staff, to the kitchen. Kudos to the managers of both areas. We will definitely be going back, and highly recommend this spot.

Bryan was our server and he gave us incredible service; he treated me and my girlfriend like we've been friends for years. I felt comfortable immediately and the atmosphere was relaxing and alive. I ordered a beer and a cocktail. The beer was poured perfectly and the glass was clean, the cocktail was refreshing and bright. We started with some apps, the crispy rice tuna and watermelon tataki and both were fantastic. The crispy rice was a perfect little bite and nailed the texture and spice, while the watermelon tataki was so unique, fun and delicous. For mains, I got the NY strip with potatoes au gratin and my partner got the steak salad. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and had a wonderful balance of peppercorn seasoning to match the balance of fat and meat in the cut. My partner loved her salad and felt that the balsamic was balanced with a hint of sweetness so the dressing wasn't too acidic and bitey. The steak for her salad came on the same plate and was a filet which meant she could enjoy the steak and salad together instead of getting a cold meat or warm, wilted salad. Potatoes came as a little side and were layered perfectly and topped with a sauce that reminded me of a thin alfredo sauce, We finished with the mango coconut pana cotta which was bright and refreshing after a rich meal. Not too sweet or heavy but full of flavor. During our meal, the General Manager, Ignacio made sure to stop by our table (along with all the tables) just to check in with us, make sure that service and food was up to snuff. He had a friendly rapport with his staff and shared some anecdotes about himself and Bryan and left us smiling just before our steaks arrived. I definitely wasn't expecting to be impressed but the food, vibes, decor were all excellent. Oh and the bathrooms were CLEAN! Remember folks, if the bathrooms are dirty, the kitchen probably is too! I would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

I was greeted by Eileen, who took the time to walk me through everything being served. No rushing. No pressure. Real customer service.
