We need more places like this…read more The last time I was here I got something my son really enjoyed and I wanted to duplicate that again. This is one of those small store fronts that just feels warm and inviting. It also helps that it was 40 degrees outside. No but really I like places that believe in product before profit and this is one of those places. It's small and jammed packed with a lot of different things catering to different ages. I see stuffed animals and complexing LEGO sets. You look to your right and you see wood blocks for babies and you look up and you see kites for all ages. This place has it all. The lovely ladies at the counter are always looking out for your best interest I feel. I explained what I wanted and she suggested my son would like this Dinosaur hand puppet vice the plastic dragon based on our conversation. And I loved it. In the end, I got the hand puppet and a stuffed husky. Lastly I found out they have two stores and sell their products online. I was happy because this place needs exposure with their great line. Overall five stars. Five stars because they care about a person's input and they'll take their time to help. Now excuse me, time to bundle up it's only WHAT THE....38 degrees?!? Not the group the temperature!!!! M

My 20-month-old loved playing with a plastic shark puppet and touched every available toy she could get her hands on. They could have easily filled that area up with more merchandise, but reserved it for play. 5 stars for consideration of the patron. Excellent store and customer service. I also really love the tokens that you can buy so I think that is really cool.

This is literally the best-curated kid's store I've ever been to. A ton of books, including a lot I hadn't seen in stores before before but that were classics or classic-adjacent. Cute clothes, cute toys, just everything you could ask for. And the layout of the shop is so good too!! Lots of great little clusters of related items. One nice bonus is like, yeah, it's not cheap kid's stuff, but you also have a million books at list price to choose from. So if you're burnt out on KPT prices, you can get great souvenirs at the same price you'd pay at home. Honestly 10/10, no notes, I would definitely come back if I was ever in the state (even if I were just going to Portland).

So I went inside to see what they had since I will be needing a new calendar once the year is over and I figured why not get one right then and there while I happened to be at a store that sells them. They had a pretty good sized selection of calendars and some of them had a sticker on them with a special price. They have all sorts of different themed calendars. I saw ones with actors on them and others with flowers, cats, dogs, sunsets, television shows and much more. I chose a calendar that has photos of flower gardens. The photos on the calendar are beautiful and I lucked out because the calendar I picked happened to be one of the specially priced ones. After I made my selection I looked around the store for a few minutes. I saw other items such as jigsaw puzzles, toys for kids and board games for kids and adults alike. When I went to pay for my calendar the guy working at the cash register was very friendly and was a pleasure to deal with. I am glad I decided to stop by!

But the service was just eww! I had a game picked out for my friend's B-Day, sure she would love it. I walked to the counter, ready to check out, when I noticed there was no one there. At first, I was not in a rush. 30 minutes until the B-Day party, and I thought it wouldn't take very long. But oh boy, was I wrong! 20 minutes later, NO ONE! I waited 5 more minutes. Still. I needed a present. The party was in 5 minutes! I just left, and I ran to a nearby candy store, Yummie's Candy And Nuts and grabbed candy. I thank Yummie's, while I am mad at Calendars, Toys, and Games. I would totally recommend it, but past events have left me wondering why this is rated 5 stars by most. I don't believe it. Other people clearly have had a better time than me. Review from Matthew Joe W. Has me puzzled. "Friendly gentleman behind the counter willing to assist us." Like WHAT?! I take it back. I don't recommend this toy store. Never going back in my life.
