So I went inside to see what they had since I will be needing a new calendar once the year is over and I figured why not get one right then and there while I happened to be at a store that sells them. They had a pretty good sized selection of calendars and some of them had a sticker on them with a special price. They have all sorts of different themed calendars. I saw ones with actors on them and others with flowers, cats, dogs, sunsets, television shows and much more. I chose a calendar that has photos of flower gardens. The photos on the calendar are beautiful and I lucked out because the calendar I picked happened to be one of the specially priced ones. After I made my selection I looked around the store for a few minutes. I saw other items such as jigsaw puzzles, toys for kids and board games for kids and adults alike. When I went to pay for my calendar the guy working at the cash register was very friendly and was a pleasure to deal with. I am glad I decided to stop by!

Not just the obvious--print services, cards, stationery, etc.--but also things like recyclable bags and other gifty items. I walked out of there with a small size (there was a large variety of bags for different uses) Baggu reclyclable bag I can fold up and pop into my purse for use when I need it. Handy for carrying leftovers from restaurants, quick trips to CVS/Walgreens or other places where you just want a couple of things. In fact it would have been handy for my trip to Gus & Ruby! Adorable little shop with all the fun things... tea towels, cards, knick-knacks... all the fun stuff you want to see in an adorable little town such as Portmouth! The staff was so kind and helpful. We went in for a single card and I walked out almost $200 later with cards for all events the upcoming year. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to visit and find this little gem in the heart of Portsmouth. If you are looking for a great place to go visit and find some great souvenirs and greeting / sympathy / birthday cards - Gus & Ruby is the place for you!!! Go visit for me!
