The staff as attentive to our table and quick. The drink menu was big. The daiquiri and pina colada were from a smoothie machine and not super frozen so on a hot day it doesn't last long. I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap with sweet potatoes fries. The sweet potato fries were good but feel like missing a dipping sauce with them. The wrap was a good portion, I prefer a little more sauce. The fish fry plate was big, 3 pieces of fish. The batter was crispy. The corn bread was yummy.

Sat outside close to the dock, was a beautiful sunny day and not too hot. Wifey had a salad with grilled chicken. Looked very good and ended up as part of the clean plate club. Friends had pulled pork sliders which looked very good. Three small rolls with pork, cole slaw and a dressing. Fourth adult had fish tacos with side of fries. Fish portion was modest. One child had beef tacos, must not have been very good because only a half was eaten. Child number two had a corn dog and fries. Can't complain about the food, but the prices were a little high for what we received. Recommend as a great place to stop while on the lake but would not journey there for other meals.

Lots of parking which might be really needed during the tourist season. Tonight's meal was so so. Was attracted to this place because it had a salad bar. Sadly a number of the offerings were gone, or almost gone. It needed attention! The special tonight was a Rib eye with a baked potato. The Rib Eye was cooked well and had decent seasoning, but the cut of meat was not very good. The cut quality was closer to what I'd expect at steak buffet than at a sit down restaurant. (Could very well have been just bad luck) but when you pay restaurant price for a nice steak you don't expect to get a bad one. It is still the "off" season, but this restaurant just seemed to be understaffed. I ate at the bar and the one bartender was working his but off. But waiting until he was done making drinks to get get butter for my potato (came without any) and salt and pepper got a but trying. Also getting an empty bottle of A1 Sauce was not impressive. Hopefully they have more staff when the real crowds get to town.

As with many cases this season they were very short staffed and trying to offer good service to those that had made reservations. Our server had several tables including one of 16 people. I can't believe how good the service ended up being with Karen our waitress. As a seasoned vet in this Industry she was on top of everything. Additionally the food was Breyer than I had hoped for. We all started with the salad bar which was clean and organized. They did end up running out of ranch dressing which was a disappointment but that was the only thing that fell short the entire evening. After the salads the four of us has the French onion soup which was better than most I've had. This was followed by our main course. Two of us has the 10 oz. Fillets, on had the 16oz ribeye and lastly one liver and onions. All the steaks were fabulous and the liver was also good from what I hear. There was no rushing, Karen our server timed out servings perfectly and the evening turned out spectacular. A big kudos to the Manager for getting us in. This will be a part of our rotation moving forward. Don't forget to make reservations!

They remodeled the interior, and while some may like the update, we miss the old-school supper club atmosphere. The menu has also been cut down and is now pretty bare bones. The service was slow even though the restaurant wasn't busy. We waited over 30 minutes for our food, and they forgot our appetizer. The prices have increased, but the quality and value have definitely gone in the opposite direction. I always ordered the Pub Special and could never finish it because the portions were so generous. This time, the portion was noticeably smaller, the bun was soggy, the sandwich had no flavor, and the au jus was only lukewarm. To make matters worse, fries are now an extra charge. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. A place that was once one of our favorites has lost the atmosphere, quality, and value that kept us coming back for so many years. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
