the course was challenging. but well kept greens dissappointed there was no water on the course and we could barely get the club pro to sell us refreshments. It would have been nice to know that there was no water on any of the eighteen holes. read more

I had played here three yeas ago and it was average. I talked my group into playing here. We had the choice of a dozen courses and it was a huge mistake. The pro in the shop was one of the worst people ever. I can't believe any one in the PGA would let this guy TONY talk to any customers. The course was not in good shape. The bar was closed and no snacks or even a coke or water was available. If they did a complete over hall with staff it might get a 2 star. I will not be coming back here anytime. To many other places to play where the staff appreciates the guest. read more

I will be adding Eagle River Golf Course to my summer golf schedule now that Patti Marquis is at the helm. Patti is a class act. I have taken lessons from Patti for 2 years and attended her golf camp at Kingston Ranch twice. I can't imagine taking lessons from anyone else. She breaks things down in a way that provides immediate improvements to your game. I have seen what she has done at other golf courses and can't wait to see what she does here. read more

This was a great golf course until GM Patti left. Course is now in slow decline and super rude staff. If you care about customer service go to Saint Germain. GM patti is now at Big Stone Golf in three lakes. read more

Been playing there regularly for the past two years. I enjoyed Howard Manske as our Pro but am extremely impressed with Patti Marquis and what she brings to our club. She has brought a different feel to the Pro Shop and has a diverse offering of products for all. She has made a number of minor improvements that have helped the flow of golf such as no longer having to show a receipt to the starter prior to the start of play. The most significant to me has been the change of playing time for the Men's Senior League on Thursday. Having a shotgun start beginning at 0900 in the morning is fantastic and affords those interested the ability to get another 9 holes in before or after our starting league time. I understand Patti will be managing the food and beverage service at the club as well. Looking forward to more positive things with Patti's leadership. I am so excited that Patti Marquis has been hired as the new golf pro here! We had the good fortune to go to one of her 4-day golf camps at Kingston Ranch outside of Las Vegas and my husband and I improved our games tremendously. Patti was so fun and encouraging. I think she's ranked in the top female golf pros. Being Minnesotans who love to travel, we will be out to Eagle River as soon as it warms up. read more

The addition of Patti Marquis as the golf pro at ERGC was a brilliant move by the city. Patti is a true professional in every sense of the word. She goes out of her way to learn everyones name, don't know how she does it. It is obvious she loves what she does and wants to grow the game of golf in the northwoods. Clinics for beginners and children were sorely needed and she has delivered. While i have not yet personally taken a lesson from her I know many who have and they haved raved about her approach. I would be remiss if I didnt also mention Ginny Campbell. Patti and Ginny are a great team that are making ERGC the place to golf in northern Wisconsin. Come on out and see for yourself. read more
