The sandwiches are good, but I came here for the fun of ordering on the brown paper bag. It was both unique and super efficient! Way quicker to check boxes on a bag than to scroll through hundreds of options on a touch screen. I miss seeing everyone's bag drawings too! Now there isn't really anything which separates this place from any other sandwich shop so no real reason to choose this one. read more

I think the sandwiches and service are excellent. I have been coming for several years and always felt friendly vibes and fast service. My go to is turkey with provolone on wheat, with lots of veggies. I must admit being surprised by some comments. It also sounds like new ownership occurred during or post covid, which always takes time to build your right staff and get things running smoothly. That's how it is across all businesses, so nothing unusual in my experience. I continue to support small businesses. read more

Horrible food, we had mold in the cups. The bread is very undercooked, and staff was not nice. I got a regular turkey sandwich with nothing else and it costed me 18$.... that's crazy. Won't be coming back. The owner also lays off and fires people constantly, not sure why but i've had friends work there and they all got laid off because of "budget cuts", but then they will hire new people immediately. read more

Overall rating C-. The meat was ok but, I would recommend bringing your own bread, since theirs is not that good. The bread, while not doughie, was thick and chewy (may have been under cooked). Seems that reviews prior to 2021 or so, there was a different menu and set up. The video kiosk ordering system is a pain in the arse for OG's. Since I didn't go through every page and, there was NO POSTED MENU, I had no idea they even offered things like a cubano or seafood wich. What I'm suspecting were the owners took our orders and they were unbelievably accommodating and sweet. I had my 12 month old with me and they gave her apple juice. My first time back at Which Wich since pre-covid and the sandwiches were still delicious! I was a little disappointed to see that Which Wich changed their ordering process and it's more difficult to customize sandwiches now. If you choose one of the "Faves" like the Grinder, Clubwich, or the Wicked, there are no more options on the paper bag (or online/mobile order) to choose your cheese, or add different sauces, veggies, etc. They come with pre-determined ingredients (eg: lettuce, tomato, onions and mayo) and the app/website only allows you to remove those ingredients or pay to get double meat, double cheese, avocado, or bacon. Now there is a BYO Wich category where you choose the base sub, like turkey, roast beef, or tuna, and then you can customize as you wish. Doesn't make sense to me that these sandwiches are still easily customisable but not the Faves. I ordered through the app and used the comment box to request additional toppings. I got the Clubwich that comes with turkey, ham, bacon, pepper jack cheese, lettuce tomatoes, mayo and thousand island dressing. In the comment box I asked them to also add cucumbers and crispy onion strings. The employees did follow my request which I'm grateful for. Sandwich tasted great. Which Wich, please let customers customize ALL sandwiches again, not just the BYO. read more

I think they have new ownership. Customer service was great. But, the food is horrible. Steak and cheeses meat was disgusting also they didn't have any of the right cheese for it! They forgot my order of fries and also I didn't want to order on kiosk but the manager kept insisting that I did! Every time I order from kiosk something always messes up. This time the manager himself helped me and of course they still managed to mess up my order and forget the French fries. My issue is not the fries, or service! Great sandwich shop with tasty subs! Friendly service even when there is only a one person staff. Lucky the front runs on a kiosk order system which makes ordering super fast. Great sandwiches and it's great that you have several options and can pick whatever fresh veggies and condiments you want. Whether it's a bud your own or choose from one of their "favorites" I here is a good variety. They also have chips, sweet, and fries. Cost is a bit higher than a traditional sandwich but it's worth it. They also have "Wicked Wednesdays" on occasion where they offer a specific sandwich for $5 which is a great deal. I haven't been to Which Wich in years so when I discovered there was one in my neighborhood I was so confused excited to try again. When I walked in I was greeted by the workers and even after I ordered they made sure everything was correct and asked me if I had wanted certain things. The food was ready pretty quick and the owner I belive gave me my food and had told me with the receipt I could get a free sandwich next time I come but i clicked no receipt and he felt bad about that and gave me a free cookie. Came here on a Wednesday during lunch time to pickup a couple sandwiches with my partner. The two of us walked in and began to fill out their order form, but then an employee comes up and tells us, "We have a lot of orders right now, so you can only order one sandwich for the two of you." I like Wich Wich in general, especially with the solid vegetarian options that it offers. This location was no different. Despite being a busy Sunday afternoon during lunch hour, the employees had a smile on their face and were friendly. I have tried all their veg options - avocado and black bean patty and the other one and generally like all of them. Just be mindful that they will charge extra for avocado on any sandwich other than the avocado itself. As a tip, I would highly recommend to take the option "skinny your wich". Not only is the bread to filling ratio perfect in it, it also cuts down on lot of calories. Oh and another tip- always go with their house chips - better flavor and much more fresher. So yes I visited this Which Wich location recently and was surprised to see how popular it was. Parking was a little bit harder but manageable especially during the lunch hour break. I was able to go inside, place my order and eat my meal in less than half an hour which was great. The two-man crew that were working were very efficient at getting orders out. I decided to try their breakfast sandwich which is a prizing Lee delicious yet very messy I really wasn't prepared for it but pretty much in Haledon the additional side of chips in my soda help me get through the rest of my workday. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program it is definitely worth it - you will receive offers and discounts and a free sandwich on your birthday. It's nice to see that a company still offers great perks for loyal customers. They have a new kiosk ordering system and I was immediately greeted and approached about how to navigate the new system by a friendly employee. Although the system made it hard to order my custom sandwich, Harry came over to help me and made sure I got the sandwich I wanted to perfection. After making absolutely sure I had all the toppings I wanted, he handed me a hot fresh grinder that was filling and very tasty. The shop was very clean and cool. The ordering process (different, but i LOVE it!): You grab a bag corresponding to their numbers (IE. #1, #2, #3, etc. - so if you want meat and it's #1, grab bag #1, if you want chicken and that's bag #7, grab bag #7). The bag indicates the type of meat options they have (so I grabbed #7 for chicken, and they had plain chicken, chicken pesto, teriyaki chicken, buffalo chicken, and a few other options) - and from there you check off (or fill in the bubble) for whatever else you want (toasted/untoasted, add more toppings/double the meat, etc). You can also order any 'wich' on shredded lettuce for a no carb option, and they have kid wich's too! What I ate: - Small chicken pesto: it was DELISH! The bread isn't too think so I didn't feel like it was all bread, but it was GOOD. - OREO milkshake: added bananas (which were blended in) - it was really good, and of course it sat in my tummy for days because it was so heavy! They also have cookies and chips too. There isn't much seating inside, but they have a few tables outside as well. Napkins (brown paper towels) are by the soda fountain. and this might seem like a minor thing for some of you, but i hate huge chunks of ice. The hours aren't very long. Every time I order the same sandwich it's been different every time.

The whole idea of writing what you want on your bag is different. They don't tell you that you have to write your order on the bag until you actually order. I don't know if I want to be touching sharpies that tons of other people have been using especially kids. I think writing it down may save time and probably mistakes on making the sandwich. I ordered a Cuban it was pretty good, a nice size and good bread. There weren't a lot of people in the store at the time which I thought was weird because it was around lunch time. It's pretty small inside but there a few tables outside with umbrellas to enjoy your sandwich. I don't know if Which Which is better than Jersey Mike's but it's better then Subway. They also have a few desserts like milkshakes and cookies. If you want something a little extra you can add bacon to your milkshake. Overall this is a decent sandwich shop with somewhat helpful employees, decent sandwiches and bacon milkshakes so yes I will be back. read more
