Now flash Forward to hunting for a grad school and we happened upon this lovely town called Clemson. In many ways it mirrors Oxford and size scope feel and bubble. On day two we decided to stop in Sully's steamers because of the away reminded me of bagel and deli. Turns out the owner went to Miami and one of his favorite places to eat with bagel and deli. The sandwiches are almost identical save for they came not only wrapped in oil but a to-go box as well. The entire place was steamy and humid that bagels were perfect and my breakfast sandwich with flawless. While they don't have a competition to eat everything in the menu board like bagel and deli I would probably make my own competition. I really hope my daughter chooses Clemson cuz I want to come to this place more often!

Thankfully my friend and I were here at 1 pm on a Wednesday afternoon and there wasn't a line. The place did fill up while we were there though. My friend ordered the Chef Salad and a sweet tea. I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with onions and added peppers. They do have a daily breakfast and lunch special posted. Nothing fancy about the restaurant. Local memorabilia decorated the walls so that gave it a sense of "community." Our food was good. Parking was limited. The staff was friendly. I would definitely come again-although I would again choose an "off" time because I imagine this place is quite busy during peak meal times.

She was extremely friendly and welcoming and did a good job managing the customers and register.

After ordering, the waitress approached us and said that they were out of corned beef.."would pastrami be okay". "Yes" we said. We'll, the club sandwich came out on "toasted" white bread. And the pastrami sandwich came out on toasted "white bread". And it wasn't even the likes of a corned beef sandwich with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. It was toasted white bread, a little pastrami and a little Dijon mustard. Both sandwiches were dry and not flavorful. We were told the potato salad was homemade. That is definitely questionable. The waitress never checked on us. When we went to the cash register to pay (without a ticket-because she never brought it to us), we had to request a refill for our drinks. Will not be returning.

The inside, outside, and bar are all seated on the waiting list. They sat the 2 of us at the bar and it was a fun experience. The bartender made great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the menu. They have 8 draft beers on tap and a large cocktail menu. We started off with the crispy brussels and it was excellent. The balsamic honey reduction was a nice addition to the appetizer. We got two sandwiches (chimichurri steak press and brisket reuben) and both were very good and recommended by the bartender. I enjoyed the fries a little more than the chips for a side item. Definitely plan on coming back to this restaurant the next time I'm up in Clemson!

I believe there are a few who love to continue gabbing at each other before allowing themselves to notice that the customers are there, which makes the others jobs much more difficult. I've stood there waiting for someone to help me and felt invisible more than once. I saw them stop and chit chat about random, non-work events while making another customers order and she did not seem welcome or happy either. It was inedible. My dining partner had an equally gross spicy tomato pasta. It tasted more like a tube of tomato paste and was thick and gloppy. I would describe the meat as having been minced (even finer than shredded). I did not notice much smoky flavor from having spent many hours in the smoker. The meat also could have been a bit warmer for my taste. The sauces were good, and I used them up because the meat could not stand on its own. The sides were okay. I had the coleslaw and baked beans. The Coke slaw was mostly bitter, rather than sweet or vinegary. There was no bite from the jalepenos. The baked beans had slices of apple and were good, but not amazing. I had high hopes but ultimately was disappointed.
