A great place to grab some touristy shirts! Exactly what we were looking for. The staff was super sweet, helpful, and FUN! We both also got some cool CO themed stuff for our kids (puzzles, books, water bottles.) Can't wait for another Denver getaway and more fun shirts from here

So many fun things to check out!! Not only were the prices great but their selections were unbeatable! So many funny shirts to look at and lots of typical Denver merch! I found that prices here were better than any other shops in the area. Also a ton of sports merch

Gotta have one of these if your a native for sure -

I use to love this store- I was disappointed when I came in this last time- For one (and yes I understand they are overpriced and cater to tourist-) I was ignored and the two stoners in charge were unprofessional and lost some big sales because of it- I can't say I wasn't in love with half the Colorado gear in this place- (I'm a proud native) But, (yawn....) The marijuana advertising with Colorado has gotten played out- I also noticed in my downtown directory of the mall there was a 10% off coupon to use- I can't say I won't be back because the product they sell (in my book) is in high demand and hard to find original Colorado native gear- But a refresher on customer service would be the key for this establishment - Also there was a now hiring sign which to me can be a reason for lack of attention-

Oh, so this is where all the beautiful boys and girls you see strutting around base camp get their fashion sensibility. Colorado themed everything for both, serious snowboard shredders and the obnoxious out-of-state tourist trying desperately to pass themselves off as such. Like anyone who's never toked weed, you'll wanna pick up shirts that feature the marajuana leaf for bragging rights back home in your Republican fly-over state. General Coloradoan vibe lets you get that Rocky Mountain High without having to learn first hand about what locals call a "14er."

The 10% off coupon in the Denver Directory --- which is at each Free Mallride sign kiosk.

I been shopping souvenirs for the last four days - and this place seriously has the best deals (I've been back 3 times so far!). There's even a 10% off coupon in the downtown Denver map - that's located at each Free Mallride sign. I would highly recommend doing all your souvenir shopping here. The people are friendly and helpful and the deals are really unbeatable overall.

Purchased this hat at the store for my son and when we got home to Illinois and he removed the sticker this is what we found. Called and they won't exchange or refund without a receipt. Hard to keep track of much, let alone receipts when traveling. They acknowledged that I purchased it there. One employee even told me they normally don't sell items from the window where this hat was located. Not happy

The store itself is huge and located within the restored 1901 Denver Tramway Building. This building is all brick and just stunning to walk up to and into. They offer every type of equipment one would need for their selected sport whether it's hiking, climbing, cycling, camping, paddling, skiing, snowboarding or overall fitness. They also offer the option to rent outdoor equipment, provide a full range bike shop and ski and snowboard services. The store features a 47 foot tall climbing wall right in the middle of the floor and other unique decorations. I have never been in such a huge REI store but it was a fun experience. My husband managed to spend all his saved up gift cards (Ha! Ha!) Service was friendly and helpful from the staff. REI can always be a little on the spendy side but I always try to catch their sales. I love being a member and receiving my annual rewards. Parking is the only downer as it's only free for the first hour. After that you must pay and believe me, an hour is not enough time here. So glad we had the opportunity to stop in, shop and check out this historic location.

It was his personal priority to make sure my family trip to Denver was left without a blemish, and his effort not only achieved that but also left me with a surprisingly sincere and unique exchange that I've not experience before with retail service. Derek didn't have to reach out, nor did he have to offer help, but it's evident in his actions that he cares about his company from the top down, and that's a quality I think is very valuable. I'll also add that Kurt, the store manager, was poised during the dilemma, never passing the buck on the inventory error. I would say he really enjoys making people happy, even when he has to deal with flies in the ointment, on occasion. You can call me a fan of Sportsfan. --------------------------------- (For posterity, I've left the previous post in reference) Had a great first impression of the store, thought the service was friendly and accommodating. Came to Denver on a trip to see my first Broncos home game and wanted to commemorate the incredible win with a souvenir. My dad and brother and I had looked up and down 16th St a few days for the right item, and I thought I had found it in a light vintage hoodie. The employee allowed me to try it on with multiple sizes and determined the best fit was the large. Then it got tricky. Walking to the front register an employee stopped and told me that the hoodie wasn't actually for sale because it had been sold yesterday and somehow didn't end up in the bag of the person who bought it. But yet, it was still hanging up, with price tag and all, in the middle of a rack. He told me it wasn't available at any other location so it basically didn't exist. He couldn't explain how or why it was still on the sales floor, apologized for the mistake, but did not extend any other concessions for the store's error besides saying "it was a crazy day yesterday, and the person who bought it is coming to get it". I don't live in Denver so I cannot return when it is restocked. Call it sincerely bad timing, but regardless, this was the first time I've picked something off a rack and then been told that what I have in my hand doesn't exist and I have to give it back. Hope it doesn't happen to the next customer.
