He called to get details and we informed him that the car didn't have air in the tires. He said he had the wrong type of truck and my boyfriend suggested a flatbed truck for the job. He said okay and we hung up. We were already in the area so we drove to where the car was and waited for an hour in the car in 30 degree weather. Tow truck never came. We called him back twice and both times we were sent to his voicemail after only 2-3 rings. Needless to say we didn't get towed. This morning, I called to complain to management and the guy was rude and kept on trying to talk over me. When he finally let me talk, he gave a half apology and stated that it was my fault because I should have called dispatch back and got a new driver. He then asked if I wanted to get the car towed this morning. I declined based on how unprofessional the driver was and how rude the manager was to me this morning. I told him I wasn't interested in a tow but just wanted him to know how unprofessional his driver was and how I couldn't trust any of the other drivers either. He said okay and HUNG UP on me! I didn't have an attitude and I didn't yell or curse. Based on the fact that the company is advertising on the radio for customers makes you think they would love and appreciate the business brought in but they do not. I would not recommend this company to anyone at all. They are not professional and don't seem to care about their customers.

I was referred to Price Wrecker and I have to say I am very impressed with the level of service and professionalism I experienced with them. From the time that I called them to pick up the disabled car and tow it to Fairfield, Al, (20 miles away) it took just about 1 hour from start to finish. By the time I got to the location to pick up my neighbor, the driver was already there and they quickly loaded the car on a flatbed and were on their way. The driver worked with us to find a suitable location to park the car outside of the driveway and carefully offloaded the car and showed us what the actual problem was (the battery cable had shorted out) I just want to say Thank you to Tony and the guys for their prompt service and professionalism in a time of need. Again, excellent service!!!

Lol Her complaint was being charged for an estimate (she wouldn't pay) she admits seeing the sign that says "they charge $25 for estimates". The other guy Bryant's complaint was he called 2 weeks earlier and because they weren't WAITING with 'bated breath' for his arrival 'HE'S piszed! People are NUTS. Yelp apparently doesn't care who reviews or why! These are top quality guys. 1 Star…read more Unfortunately, after using Highway 280 Paint & Body three different times, this will be my last. Our 2022 GMC Yukon was damaged by a deer on June 9. We brought it to Highway 280 Paint & Body in mid-June, and they inspected the vehicle and determined that the damaged door would need to be replaced. After filing the claim with Progressive, we had a three-way phone call with our insurance adjuster and the manager at Highway 280 Paint & Body. During that call, we specifically scheduled a date to drop the Yukon off for repairs. The appointment was made roughly two weeks in advance, giving the shop time to prepare for the vehicle and the repair. We dropped the Yukon off on July 20 as scheduled. When we arrived, the manager acted as though he wasn't expecting the vehicle and said he didn't have the insurance estimate. I pulled it up and sent it to him while standing there. The Yukon then sat at the shop for more than a month. During that time, we received different explanations about what they were waiting on--parts, emblems, insurance approval, and eventually that the door needed to be replaced, even though they were the ones who told us in June that the door needed replacing in the first place. After more than a month, we learned that the vehicle had essentially sat there and wasn't actually being worked on until last week. Even then, the repair was still not completed. My biggest issue isn't simply that the repair took longer than expected. Things happen, parts get delayed, and insurance companies can slow down repairs. My issue is the lack of communication, organization, accountability, and urgency throughout this entire process. We scheduled this repair in advance. They knew what vehicle was coming, knew what the damage was, and knew a door replacement was needed. Meanwhile, our insurance rental coverage was running out while our vehicle sat at their shop. I finally asked them to put our Yukon back together so we could pick it up and take it somewhere else. After being a repeat customer, I hate that this is the experience that caused me to leave a one-star review. But based on the way this repair was handled, I cannot recommend Highway 280 Paint & Body. The entire operation felt extremely disorganized, and the customer service and communication were nowhere near what I would expect from a professional body shop. If you're considering having work done here, I would strongly recommend asking very specific questions about when your vehicle will actually be worked on--not simply when they can accept it and let it sit on their property.

Homewood auto body does not require an appointment to get an estimate. I was really appreciative of that fact and flexibility. Fast forward, JONES OFF ROAD was recommended by another business owner that advised he service all of his work trucks there. Prior to that recommendation, I had a diagnostic at another local shop that quoted $831. I personally thought there was no way to drive 2 hours with a bad radiator, leaking water pump so I opted to go with Jones Off Road. HUGE MISTAKE: Everytime there was communication told me that once my truck arrived they'd be able to get it back next day... Fast forward 9 days later when I go to pick up my vehicle there was an exchange of words as I confronted the human, Nikki, about the fact that they had switched up pricing..... on top of that I called out that the itemized bill that she refused to give me prior to my arriving clearly showed that they had doubled up on the retail price for both the water pump and the radiator.... Of course she didn't like that and disputed that fact until I told her that I already had parts prices prior to allowing them to move forward.. based on their recommended parts and repairs by phone,Is hung up and called as I awaited a call back from her husband who would soon answer my questions about why he recommended what he did ... My truck, prior to being dropped off to them had a fresh paint job so of course I proceed to go out turn on the truck to let it run to make sure it does not overheat, also to make sure that there are no visible leaks, and do a full walk around to make sure there's no damage to the exterior paint job which was fresh,,,painted prior to issues.... Since the truck was on and I was inspecting things before getting back on the road I, of course make sure my lights are still bright make sure my signals and my brake light work which is something I do with every vehicle Everytime if I'm traveling out of town... low and behold, my turn signals nor brake lights work..... SABOTAGE ...I have a video that was taken before it came to the JONES OFF ROAD that shows the gauges,
