There are shaded tables, plus the light breeze made it delightful. Service is friendly and quick. House salad is well presented. A nice mix of freshly cut veggies. Reuben is excellent. The pastrami tastes smoked, which is a unique twist to this NY deli fan. It's hand-sliced thin, topped with sauerkraut and melted swiss, slathered with thousand island dressing and served on toasted rye. Very good rendition of this knife & fork sandwich. Could resist chocolate lava cake. Because what's lunch without dessert??? :-) It's a hockey-puck sized chocolate cake, covered with molten chocolate. Inside, the cavity is filled with more molten chocolate. For the chocoholic, this one is a must. Pro Tip - filling is HOT! This is a great little spot. Try it!

The restaurant has a cozy, homey feel with sea-themed décor -- things like fishing nets, crab cages, and other nautical touches that make it feel like a neighborhood seafood spot. We started with their signature crab cake, which was thin, nicely cooked, and drizzled with a flavorful bistro sauce. For our main dish we had the daily fish special, a flaky grilled fish that was lightly seasoned and served with well-cooked vegetables and risoni pasta. The green beans were especially memorable -- perfectly crispy, which reminded me how much I love them prepared that way. The staff was friendly and helpful, even recommending the $8 wine special, which was a great value. Overall, a welcoming neighborhood restaurant downtown Pueblo with great seafood and a relaxed atmosphere.

This spot is right in a neighborhood and looks like it's been here forever. This place has history. They are all about community. Supporting the locals which you can see on the walls and reaching out all the way north. We happened to stopped on a Saturday morning when CU was starting to play, this place picked up and all the staff was wearing their CU gear - supporting all the way in Pueblo, Co. now let me tell you about the food- sorry no pics we were hungry. We started with chips and salsa. Homemade chips super delicious. It's a full bar great prices but since we are far from home- no drinks. I got bowl of menudo w/2 tortillas. Pretty standard. My son his is super picky got French toast. However the meal that my man happened to get was called the "Slopper" with2 extra eggs. It had potatoes, green chili,2 sausage patties, bacon, cheese and 2 eggs. He got tortillas on the side. Sounds like a lot but he shared with me. Food was real good. The icing on the cake was how nice and welcoming the whole staff was to not just us but everyone who walked in the door. We were even introduced to the owner. Once we were done eating my man said he could see being a regular at this place if we lived there. I felt so at home and just like a regular.

All were half well and medium rare. Son in law liked his rib eye. All adults got lobster and it was great. I specially asked about the French fries. Was told they are just regular steak fries. NOPE! None of us could agree what was on them. The vegetable was cooked perfectly. Plates and bowls were school cafe style. Just wasn't a great experience.

I was coming here for a date to watch the NBA finals week. My date was 30 minutes late and only lived ten minutes away I darn near asked to date the waitress. She had a cute smile anyways and showed extreme patience. The seats in the booth weren't too bad for a restaurant. I was actually not uncomfortable for two hours. The TVs were plenty but lacked a little clarity on some of them. Could use some updating maybe or swap out the cables. When asked for water they served bottled water. Was aquafina. I'm not picky, was just something unique I guess. Used to just getting tap. I ordered the Swiss Dip. It was solid so were the fries. My only complaint was in the 2nd half of the sandwich there was a hair so I asked them to remake it. She got it done no questions asked and even threw some extra fries when she brought it back. Back to the waitress though. She was timely, checked up on us just enough wasn't too pushy. And her booty was kinda nice not gonna lie. Should have got her name. ‍ But didn't wanna be rude to my date that I drove 45 minutes for and she drove ten and was still 30 minutes late. Their menu wasn't huge, but enough to choose from. There aren't any pool tables anymore so I kind of felt misled by pictures. Maybe the pandemic affected it. The temperature was solid. It was nice and cool inside. Some cool murals painted on the brick wall. I'd have taken pictures but I am trying more and more not to be rude when I have company out with me. Would go back though, maybe that lady single.

In other news, THE SERVICE was a double "what the f***" My husband was already done with his drink by the time the food came out, our young server ignored it more time passed, pushed the empty cup more towards the edge so it was more noticeable and a older lady WATCHED me push the cup and proceeded to talk to our server and not tell him anything or refill the cup... .. not checked on once... husband got fed up and filled it himself and the older lady proceeded to say she would do it, BUT YOU DIDNT? He was trying to explain that to her nicely and she wasn't hearing it and kept ignoring and worrying more about screws because they were fixing something? My husband finished his whole meal with nothing to drink before he refilled it himself. Only got one apology from our young gentleman server minutes later. Nothing from the lady. OH and there was only us and one other table , so it's not like yall were that busy. Service went way down from previous owners.

I highly recommend Venga (Mexican Lager) - I'm not affiliated with them just like the beer. 4-5 stars - I should probably try this place in a later hour in the evening when it's a little more 'alive' however I am marking this as a place to go when I'm in town again.
