This joint was worth the hype. If you're either a vegan or vegetarian, this is the perfect spot…read more Never have I thought a "100% plant-based" burger spot could actually exist. I was so close to not making the trip, but glad I did. There is some parking outside, but there is also paid parking close by. The inside looks like your typical burger joint; limited seating, tiny counter, and 2 self-service spots where you can place your order. Not only do they serve burgers, they also sell local beers as well, given there is a brewery nearby. If you pick the right seat you could see them preparing your order. I ordered the "Firehouse Burger," and the name says it all! Regardless, this burger was huge and packed with flavor. I felt like I was about to break my jaw when I took my first bite. The patty was cooked perfectly with melted pepper jack cheese. Also included was jalapeño, which was done 3 ways: smoked, pickled and crispy. Their habanero was not only delicious, but also carried a kick to it l. I tried to add some vegan bacon, sadly they ran by the time I arrived. If you are ever in the Poulsbo, WA area, I would definitely suggest you stop by here. I doubt you will ever find a better a burger anywhere else.

I was famished, and it escaped my notice that the place is plant based. After one of the best burgers of my life, I still was in the dark. The oven fries taste like potatoes, perfect seasoning. But the creative burgers make this a destination worth a long drive. Seek it out!

The ambiance is attractive and we were immediately greeted and seated upon our arrival. There is a private lot. I started with an exotic drink with mezcal and fresh blackberries since this is blackberry country. I forget the name but it is on the picture. It was delicious. The wife had Passion Fruit and it was also delicious. For entrees, the wife had chicken mole and did not care for it. The chicken was bone-in which is normally fine, but she did not care for this chicken. The mole was very spicy. There is a difference between flavorful with a kick or slow burn, but this was overtly spicy. She did not eat much and did not take it home. I had an exotic dish which I don't remember the name but it was essentially a chicken stew served in mortar bowl. Rice and black beans came on the side, but I added them to the stew to make it thicker. It was delicious. Very flavorful with a slow burn. If the review were based on this dish alone, it would be 5 stars. Our server was attentive and helpful. I liked the vibe and food more than the wife did, We are in Poulsbo only a couple of days so we probably won't return, but if we were here longer I would lobby for a return.

My wife and I got a rare spare moment to ourself yesterday afternoon. We chose to hit up Casa Luna…read morebecause it had been years since we had been there and we love Mexican. Wife had a chimichanga which she said was kind of meh. Nothing to write home about but not bad by any means. I had the shrimp fajitas with corn tortillas. The onions were caramelized to perfection. I will say just like every other Mexican restaurant they did not give me enough tortillas for all the filling they gave me. So par for the course there. When we arrived we were offered chips and asked if we wanted queso or quac with it. No mention of extra cost or even what they cost in general it was just asked as if those came with the chips. So my wife of course said yes because those sound delicious. THANKFULLY me being the sceptic clarified the cost and it would have been $25 bucks for queso and quac....so we just got the free salsa. I was just a little peeved that they were about to walk away and just let us pay that ridiculous price knowing there is no way the 2 of us could have finished such a thing. And then at the end just something to be aware of, not a huge deal, but the tip suggestions on the receipt were based on the price after tax so we just did our own math. But top as you please.
