Keep in mind I ordered a No. 1 with cheese, no lettuce or tomato, mayo instead of mustard, with large onion rings and a Dr. Pepper. The food all tasted good, but within 5 minutes of eating it, my stomach literally felt like I was poisoned. This has happened at more than one location. I got a similar result from the Whataburger at Jones and 1960. Whataburger, please, do an internal review of your food quality and how it is cooked. The absolute worst Whataburger that I have ever been to. This franchisee should be closed. Even with over 10 employees in the back, it took over 40 minutes to get food and it was still incorrect. I hit this place for breakfast fairly often. Served from 11am - 11pm. The mornings often feature senior couples eating breakfast and drinking coffee. The dining room is clean and neat. The line to order is never long. The staff is a good mix of older workers during the week and nice high schoolers on the nights and weekends. The food is always prepared just right. On a recent visit to Texas my friend raves about their burgers so it was our first stop. I loved the fries and the spicy ketchup, the burgers were so so I felt personally they lacked flavor and had way way to many onions. I would eat there again but definitely tweak the original to less onions and some type of sauce on the burger cause whatever they put doesn't do their good patties justice. It had their whataburger sauce and they added bacon for me and didn't skimp at all on either! I don't eat beef so sometimes I go and ask for a cheeseburger with bacon no meat patty.
