Double Cheeseburger, indistinguishable from McDonald's, fries were good.
    Steve G.

Meh. Not any different than going to McDonald's. The burger was ok, but not something I'm going to be craving. Fries were good. Service was efficient. Not much else to say. If you're at the airport and hungry for a burger, it's an ok choice.

Had a five star experience here thanks to Adrienne. I enjoyed a delicious burger before a flight and my only regret was not having more time to order a second one. Yes, really, it was that good. The customer service I received was awesome because it was friendly. Travel can be stressful so the last place you need pushback from is when you're ordering a meal. There was plenty of seating available and the order was up very fast despite it being full of travelers. It wasn't too loud or anything so the order was called out perfectly and I enjoyed the environment and experience. Two things: I'm a fan of the bread and I'm also a fan of the stickers on the wrappers to remind folks their order is on point and squared away.

Got the double meat cheeseburger with jalapeño cut in half at 4:30am at the airport. The line was quite long but got through in roughly 8 minutes. Burger ready about another 8 minutes. The burger was temperature hot, tasty, and cooked well.

Great double meat WhatABurget for breakfast this morning. They did it right by cutting it in half!

I've been eating Whataburger for what seems like my whole life. Since I no longer live in Texas, I'm always happy to be flying from airports that have a location. When I was flying out of San Antonio last weekend, I saw that bright orange in the area of one of the airport's small food courts, and I had to stop. If you've been to a Whataburger before, you know what you want. And this location has the same menu as any Whataburger location. So after a short wait to order and a short wait for my order, there I was - eating one of my favorite cheeseburgers at a gate about to board a flight. Hard to complain.

Worst burger I've had in years. Cold, cheese was throw on last min. Took two bites and threw that shit where it belongs- in the garbage. Thanks for nothing.

While visiting my daughter in Texas, I finally decided to try Whataburger since I've heard so many comparisons to In-N-Out. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. In my opinion, there's really no comparison between the two. The burger at Whataburger lacked flavors, needed spicy catchup to make it edible. If given the choice, I would definitely pick In-N-Out over Whataburger any day. I'd only go back to Whataburger if I were starving and had no other option. Yelp ya later!

I've seen this place in Texas so I wanted to check it out and saw one at the SAT Airport Terminal. I had to get it. The service was great with the employees being super friendly (the southern charm) and recommending things for me since I've never had it before. Foodwise, I got everything a la carte such as the double burger Junior from the kids section and 9 piece plain chicken nuggets. It should've came with honey butter sauce on the side since they charged me for it and I was looking forward to it too. That was disappointing. The burger was just alright however nothing sets it apart from McDonald's.

It was really busy but the girl who took our order did so efficiently and with a smile. Thank you Ayana for making our experience at Whataburger a great one!

Line is long but it goes fast -

Good food, good quick service despite the long lines which go by fast. The ambience was chill, it's the airport so people are either tired, hungry or hungover from their travels and celebrations. I only ordered a burger no cheese, extra pickles with jalapeños and extra mustard. All that makes me smile and the bread is soft and easy on the teeth. My burger looks small in photo but it was actually a good enough amount for me. Not sure why it looks small on photo bc it was just the right amount of size for a burger. I live how they call out people name as the order bc I like seeing the faces the employees make hoping they said the names correctly. Very Nice fast food!

the only one in the airport!! After going though security at B then find out there is no connection bridge with A. So had to walk out of B and go though security at A to get to this place. Of course when I got done have to do it again at B. CRAZY AIRPORT!!! This place you can't order on your APP so the line was long!!! But always worth the wait!! Since we don't have Whataburger around where we live!!! One Burger by it self with everything add on to it, is more than enough for me!!!

I was in Texas for 2 weeks, had plans for so many other places to go and was told by family to try Whataburger. We always passed it I saw it everywhere we went but still had no chance to try it till the day we were leaving. We saw it at the airport and I told my mom to get it with our food vouchers because our plane was delayed twice. We had all the time now to try it and I must say that my family was right. It was delicious. The fries were good and the first to go. The burger was yummy as well. The airport location was pretty much in a corner near terminal A I believe with a huge sign so it's not hard to miss. I definitely suggest trying it.

Breakfast of champions! The #8 double meat Whataburger meal.

TLDR: If you're looking for a quick bite while at the airport, it's a decent-to-good choice. Service is brusque but fast; ambiance is really non-existent due to it being in the middle of a busy airport. Expect to pay a slight premium for convenience. However, what I got was hot and fresh, which counts a great deal if you're on the go. If you're familiar with Whataburger, you'll get no bad surprises. I do hear that they open later than advertised, so YMMV if you're here at 4am! This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.

I can't speak for the burgers, but their fries are not that great. In-N-Out fries are far superior.

Incredibly slow service. No reason why there should only be 1 cashier at this airport location.

Had a hankerin' fer a dawg. So after taking a few rolls of 120mm film to Digital Pro to be…read moredeveloped, I headed to The Dogfather with glee. It's been a few years since I've been by; so, I was truly looking forward to getting something. I chose The Brat & tots (plain). I was very happy with my choice. The gentleman greeted me immediately. I thought it would take me a minute, but, as I stated, I chose The Brat immediately. I'm a little high strung from my age, so people kinda chuckle. It's cute. I make me smile. They put the perfect amount of mustard on it too! See the photos, but it comes covered with cabbage & crispy fried onions. It is amazing. I was able to get a whole 1/3 of it eaten before my body shut down. Tot wise, they were hot & perfectly fried! I like to dip mine in ketchup, but they offer you various other dips as well. So, I got ranch cuz, um, of course. Also, I really like their soda brand. I can't remember it, but it's a dia de los muertos skull for the logo, but I love their roots beer, which was my beverage of choice today. It's really a nice little place to just come in & sit & enjoy a yummy hotdog alone, or with family/friends.

This is an official Local Favorite of mine! Dogfather is in a really low key location, and when you…read morewalk in the vibe is completely chill. My partner and I went on a Sunday morning just after 11am and there were already people coming in to eat. It's popular for a reason! I've eaten here a few times and had a very consistently good time, but this review will be about my most recent visit. We visited on a rainy day, but luckily we were able to snag one of the inside tables, we ordered at the counter and our orders arrived very quickly. I got the Ratchet dog which is a beef dog with queso, hot Cheetos and fried jalapeños. Dogfather uses quality dogs and buns for all of their gourmet dogs. I found the Ratchet to be meaty, salty with just right amount of spice from the jalapeños. My partner got the Pop it like it's hot, but removed the jalapeños. This was good but lacking a bit of flavor, however she and I both agreed that was on her for taking the jalapeños off the dog. Both dogs were extremely tasty, and we devoured both. I also got an order of curly fries loaded with their chili and cheese. For me, these did not have to go as HARD as they did. The chili they are using at Dogfather is seriously good, with a slight tang and a good amount of spice. It thrills but does not take away from your meal with too much heat. Very tasty. My only feedback is that Dogfather needs a larger space! There's a good size outside seating area, but for times like today when it's raining people need some coverage. They're doing it right and the crowds want to come! As I have stated this is a local favorite. If you live nearby, make it a regular spot. If you live in San Antonio, do yourself a favor and make a trip over at least sometimes. If you like hot dogs you won't go wrong.
