Well we stopped in for breakfast with our coupons from the mission's game. And it was such a pleasant experience. Rex took wonderful care of us at the cash register. Our food came out quickly and it was hot and tasty. The kids split the breakfast platter, which was great for them. The hubs enjoyed his biscuits and gravy. And I enjoyed my breakfast on a bun with bacon. We also learned a few things. Kids eats free Monday-Thursday when you order a whatameal. And through 9/1/25 when you donate $2 to the Hill Country Relief you receive a commemorative Whataburger cup. Definitely a spot for locals and it was great vibe. read more

Since this place opened my order has never been right. For to go orders it's always cold burgers, half filled fry cartons, missing items, etc. it's the training the youngins get or lack there of. It's not their fault they've been raised in a world of tech where their brain survives on scrolling and constant dumps of dopamine. Talk to them about mundane tasks and they tune you out and only do what is just good enough. Either way they're not paying attention to detail and the older management employees on site are just there for the paycheck. Make customer service great sign wb! read more

One of the worst. Takes forever. Order is always wrong. Here I sat. Mobile order. One burger and a drink. App says 7:28 pm at the latest. Here it is 7:40 pm and nothing. This isn't the first time either. I just had so much time to sit here and reflect that I thought. Let me do a review in hopes that they will fix this store. Manager is young. Whataburger has changed. Huge fail, Small discrepancy, but Huge Fail. So here I am finally giving the Whataburger Curbside service a whirl. This is my 3rd time, and it was not a charm. I ordered the wings, which was delish, but they left out my dipping sauce. I didn't get to enjoy my salad because they left out my dressing. Now, you would think "No, biggie. There is dressing at home...Nope". Ohh, and they forgot my fork. ordered on self help kiosk and waited 45 minutes for chicken strips worst day ever AND ON TOP OF THAT a worker came up to us after the first 20 minutes of waiting and says "i'm sorry that you had to wait but you're gonna have to wait longer" there was a line in the drive thru but no one in the lobby received their food (mind you there were small family's sitting with drinks stressing because they were starting to grow impatient) no one in the lobby received their order for a whole 30 minutes and when they did , i overheard people saying it was cold and stale. this place needs to be shut down. the family's in the lobby all agreed to never return to this whataburger. read more

I'm not reviewing the burgers and fries, let me preface that. if I were, it would still be the same rating because this is very close to my house and we frequent this location all the time. Try the salads! This is the Cobb salad and it's super fresh, real chicken and healthy greens. The portion is huge, I made 2 meals out of this. Regardless that it's a fast food salad, it's a 10/10. I've been served far superior in an actual restaurant. Of course, with Whataburger you're always going to get fast, wonderful service and a very clean environment. Time to update my previous review. This Whataburger has been consistently the cleanest and friendliest of any I have ever been in. Rudy does a great job keeping it in order and makes sure everything is as it should be. This time I went with something other than my usual. I tried the new Whataburger with Chili. This thing is huge, two patties, chili, onions and yes, corn chips. It is very tasty but I had a hard time finishing it all. The mustard topped it off nicely, sort of like a chili dog but with hamburger. I would add jalapenos next time, the chili is pretty mild. Did I mention this thing is huge? read more

Food was good. My fries were salty enough to make me happy but they were very mushy. Hamburger was amazing but the service was rude. Not the same service as we're use to. There was soda on the side of our drinks so my husband asked if we could get extra napkins for it and the girl whose name tag said "bankroll" wiped it, gave us our sodas, no smile, no"have a good day" nothing. Shift 9:55am-1100am 10/29/22 Please find out who was the lady manager on this shift Service was absolutely Horrible from the jump Rolando couldn't comprehend eggs on the side for starters so ordering was complicated. We were the only car in line and 5 minutes later a breakfast rush came in after waiting 30 minutes and 6-7 cars passing us later we asked what was going on. They said 5 more minutes we are waiting on biscuits. We waited another 10-15min and were handed a bag of food with 0/4 hash browns, 1/3 chicken biscuits, no biscuit on our breakfast platter, and 7/4 sausage sandwiches we didn't order hoping to get us out of there by pulling a fast one if we didn't check. They put a cookie in the bag for a 45 minute wait on a wrong order and thought it was cute. We then came inside because our order was completely wrong. I brought the bag of wrong food into the store out of integrity and as a courtesy for them to look at and after expressing our concern the manager then snatched our food lividly off of the counter. Not only that I was there with my uncle. My uncle is a white man and I am a black man. The manager totally kept looking me off, ignoring me, and trying to negotiate with him about this horrid service. She then turns to me and says am I even on this order, though I am the one who paid for the damn food in the first place and is paying for her salary at that moment of disrespect. I let her walk back to do the order without mentioning that part immediately. I never felt so dismissed as a customer in my life I felt like she was being very racist in that whole interaction like I couldn't of paid for Whataburger and I'm a whole engineer . When she comes back with the food trying to be all nice we let her say her peace about the situation. And finally came clean about they were giving out biscuits out the whole time while they were telling us that for the past hour "they needed to be cooked" "biscuits aren't ready." Throughout this now 1hr+ fiasco. I tell the manager how she looked off and dismissed the "paying" custom because I was black out of the two. She was taken aback because she knew what she did at that point while I played it cool. I asked her for a refund for this experience and lack of courtesy she instead offered two biscuits! I was like really? After all this? She left real or fake signature on photo below I forgot to get her name I was so frustrated. In the end they took back the "courtesy" (air quote) cookie and almost corrected the order. When it was all said and done I got home they forgot my orange juice! read more

I ordered on Uber eats. I live 5 minutes away from place. My fries where cold and hard. My salad was warm and not rinsed. Not to mention I barely got any salad. My driver came straight here and waited longer the he should of. So I know this is on resturant. I order same salad at Whataburger quite often and this was by far the worst. Won't be returning to this store. There is always a issue either delivery or pickup. They just can't seam to get it together. read more

The service was okay. Young lady at the counter got our order right but the order was wrong. I asked for grilled onions and The burger had raw onions on one side and grilled at the bottom. The burger buns were mashed and so was the whole burger. I took the onions out but It was hard to eat because the tomatoes and lettuce had pieces of raw onion on it. Its like the burger was a mistake order left behind and they added the grilled onions onto it. It wasn't even warm. The fries were not good and tasted like old oil. The young asked if everything was good and I told her no and she offered to remake the order but I could not eat anything anymore. My husbands burger was the same and he only ate it because he was hungry. He said one of the worst burgers he has ever had from a Whataburger. The other thing that was wrong is the floors were so greasy. I think they got mopped with greasy water. They need to place a sign for after mopping warning people floor may be greasy and slippery. three crew members were loitering around the drink area doing nothing but talking about personal stuff in a louder tone than necessary allowing us all to hear. read more

First let me say the drive thru employees are very friendly and according to my receipt they enter orders correctly. The cooks are a sad disappointment. If I make a special request to delete or add to a burger they never get it right. Even ridiculous mistakes like sub grilled onions and I got both grilled and raw onions!! You're not a true Texan if you don't like Whataburger. As far as fast food goes, I think Whataburger is surprisingly high quality. The employees are friendly at this specific location. They get your food out pretty quick. The place is clean, at least that's what it looks like. I don't if I can say the same about the restrooms, but they are cleaner than most other fast food places. The food is lumpy and mushy when you get it, but that's how any fast food place is like. At least (unlike McDonald's for most people) it still tastes good. Sometimes they forget to add our dipping sauce when we order #13. We've had to go back a few times because they forget to add our gravy with our meal. It does get pretty annoying but today we had to go back for it again. However, I was not upset but grateful that the manager assisted me and replaced with a new a fresh meal. Whataburger... no, really. I've eaten at my fair share of fast food chains and locations and this one is amazing! Food is always fresh and the employees are kind. We typically have 6-8 people to order for and we've never waited longer than 5 minutes. On my sisters birthday they went out of their way to greet us at the window and sing Happy Birthday through the drive-thru as well as adorn her with some Whataburger Swag. 21510 N 281 just north of San Antonio. I've tried this location three times now as it's on my way home and all three times I've been disappointed Most recently, the cream gravy was like white water.
